PART I

Hi, sweetheart.

Ican only imagine the outpouring of well-wishes and I-miss-yous you’ll receive. You deserve all of them and more. But I thought I could try to give you a laugh or two instead. So my plan is to share some of the silly stuff I’ve heard around the house lately.

A few of us, possibly those of us who identify as fussy Daddy Doms, have tried to remind the Littles—and everyone else—it’s okay to have fun here and there. Especially in the darkest of times, a laugh can offer energy to go on.

First up, Ash and Jordan. Allow me to set the scene.

A morose group of friends gathered around the pool after a morning of scouring the news for updates.

Nobody’s saying much. KC is comforting Noa.

Colt goes for a quick swim, and Ash says he’s just gonna cool off for a beat.

He stays in the water for a whopping thirty seconds before he decides to wash off the chlorine.

Jordan goes over to be a good boy and help him in the outdoor shower.

All of a sudden, scaring off a flock of birds in the trees, Jordan screamed for all he was worth.

“What the—NO! No! You’re peeing on me!”

They had everyone’s attention, and Jordan wasn’t done. Still screaming in horror, he sprinted toward the house, the same words going on repeat.

“Daddy peed on me! Out of my way, Daddy peed on me!”

The look on Ash’s face said it all.

Mission accomplished.

He made his sadistic friends crack up.
