42. Wilder #2

Deciding not to dwell on it, I let myself get lost in him completely.

There is nothing soft or gentle about the way I fuck him, slamming into him hard and fast, fucking him as deeply as possible.

The only thing leaving his lips now are filthy mumbles and moans, spurring me on to keep fucking him.

He says I can’t have him, that this is all a bit of fun, but here he is moaning my name like I am the only one who truly matters to him.

His hole is strangling me with blinding heat, and I never want to go a day without this feeling again.

Nothing with him is ever enough, not even when I stroke over his prostate and make his entire body tremble with the need to come. “Harder, Wild, please, I need to fucking come.”

I fuck him harder, rougher, erasing anyone else who ever came before me, and he sinks down to meet my every thrust. “You were fucking made for me, Blue, my little fuck hole, always taking me so fucking well,” I grit through my teeth, reaching for his cock between us and jerking him roughly.

His shaft is soaked and dripping in precum, and the second I start stroking him, he explodes in my hand, as I hit that spot inside of him again. “Oh fuck,” he cries, his body shaking as his release takes over. Long hot ropes of cum splashing against his shirt and my fist. “Oh my fucking God!”

My thrusts don’t falter, fucking him through his release until I feel myself going over the edge. “I’ve told you about that fucking name,” I seethe, spilling inside of him, not faltering on my thrusts until I have milked myself dry in his pretty hole.

I shove my fingers into his mouth, letting him suck his cum from them in punishment, before replacing them with my lips. I kiss him savagely, slowly, still rutting inside of him, until my heart finally feels calm.

“Wilder,” he sighs, dropping his head back against the wall, his arms crawling back around my neck to hold him against me. “That was…’

“A bit of fun,” I reply, cutting him off, and I don’t miss the flash of devastation across his face before he hides it.

“Come on, we should go before someone sees us.” Pulling out of him, I drop his legs from around my waist and step back, sliding off the condom and tying it in a knot, before pulling up my pants.

He watches me without saying a word, before tucking himself away and following me from the roof and down the stairs.

I lead him silently to my room, where we both shower and get ready for bed.

I half expect him to make an excuse to leave, but when I turn out the light, he slides into his side of the bed and tucks himself next to me.

Like always with him, I fall asleep quickly to the gentle sound of his heartbeat, but when I wake up the next morning he is already gone.

Casper is the first to pull me into a hug, squeezing me tightly, as he pats me on the back with nothing but pride. “Don’t do anything stupid while I’m gone,” he mumbles against my shoulder, before pulling back. “Or at least have the decency to wait until I'm here with you next year.”

We’re all in the private airport we flew into last week, and I’m saying goodbye to them all before they head back to the States.

It’s harder than I thought it would be, considering I went almost three months without seeing them.

It’s been really great having them here with me, especially since I made EWC history, and I’m going to miss them while they’re gone.

There’s still a month until PRI is over and I’ll be heading home myself.

I haven’t spoken to Reed all morning, but I know he feels the same about saying goodbye to Eloise, her flight also leaves before ours, so he’s saying goodbye to her too. I pretend I’m not watching them from across the terminal, and move my focus back to Casper.

"That sounds like advice you should be giving yourself, baby cuz." I hold him at arm’s length and give him my best stern stare, and he grins.

"That’s fair, but I’m heading home to my final year at The Academy, what’s life without a little chaos?" he shrugs, his smile only getting bigger and more menacing.

“Chaos I will happily bring when I’m back there with you in the fall.” I remind him with an equally menacing smile.

“I still can’t believe my dad is letting you, Knox, and Beck come onto the teaching staff in between seasons,” he groans, and I reach out to ruffle his hair.

“He needs someone to try and keep you in line,” I state, as Bobby appears behind him and groans.

"Seriously though, call me when you win PRI," Cas adds, pulling me in for another hug, and I roll my eyes.

"I will."

"Good."

A second later he's gone, already distracted by something on his phone, as Bobby reaches out to shake my hand. "Eleventh in the world, superstar,” he muses, shaking his head, and I push away his hand and pull him in for a hug.

“It was really good to see you, Bobs,” I tell him, smacking him on the back. “Make sure you keep my cousins out of trouble until I get back,” I add when we pull apart, and he shakes his head.

“Don’t I always?”

"Thanks, Bobs."

Then he's following Casper toward security, leaving me alone with the one person I've been waiting to speak to.

Caden watches the others walk ahead before turning back toward me. He doesn’t hug me like Cas did, and he certainly doesn’t congratulate me like Bobby did. We simply stand there staring at one another, two stubborn bastards refusing to make things easy.

"You're thinking about doing something stupid."

The statement catches me off guard, because of all the things he could say, he chose that, and I can’t help but snort. "Yeah, I’ve heard it runs in the family."

"It does."

For a second, neither of us say anything, then I lower my voice.

"I can’t help it, I need more information, Cade, I can’t go on like this.

" Immediately his expression changes, not much, but enough, as he continues to study me carefully.

"I'm done standing around watching him get hurt, and if you’re not going to help me, I’m going to do it myself. "

Something flickers across my cousin's face, as if that thought pains him, before he clears his throat. “They’ve found more financial irregularities, shell companies, fraud, and a hell of a lot of bribery,” he starts.

"And?"

"And it’s not enough." The words come out flat and frustrated, because to anyone else that list would sound like a slam dunk, but for Caden and the people he works with, they know it’s barely scratching the surface for men like Prescott Lamont III.

"He’s smarter than you think, he always makes sure he has someone between him and the dirt. "

I know exactly the type of man he's talking about. The kind who never gets blood on his own hands, unless it belongs to his son, and pays others to get dirty for him. The complete opposite of my cousin.

“I’m heading home to meet with some of the people on his payroll to have some conversations.”

“What kind of conversations?”

“The kind that always gets me the answers I want, or people go missing.” That’s the attitude that got my brother killed, and I swallow thickly at the reminder.

“The second we have everything, that man is finished.” The certainty in his voice is absolute, terrifying, but also comforting, and all I can do is nod, even though it’s not enough.

Not when Reed still has to lie and pretend everything is fine when it’s not, and I’m so fucking tired of seeing it.

Caden must see something in my expression because he exhales sharply, before stepping closer and dropping his voice. “Just trust me, Wild.”

My stare searches his, before I dare to ask, “Why did you do it?”

If my question surprises him, he doesn’t show it, just keeps his eyes fixed on mine and grunts, “I’ll tell you when this is all over, maybe then you’ll be ready for the answer.”

A boarding announcement echoes through the terminal before I can respond, and Casper shouts something impatient from halfway across the hall.

Caden glances toward his brother, then back at me. “I’ll see you back at home.” Before I can respond, he turns and starts walking away, then pauses just briefly without looking back. "When this is over, make sure Reed knows none of this is his fault."

Then he's gone, and all I can do is hope putting my trust in him wasn’t a huge mistake, because for the first time since I met Reed, I have the distinct feeling that someone is finally about to pull on a thread.

And when it starts unraveling, his father is going to wish he'd never touched him at all.
