Chapter Ten

That night, we threw one hell of a party.

I couldn’t tell you the name of the place. Some steakhouse—a fancy one, the kind nice enough that the outfits half my women wore to our celebratory dinner technically went against the dress code. That might have bothered me on a different evening, but it didn’t tonight.

Not with the good news still bouncing around in my skull.

Not with the sword that had been hanging over our heads since the Call Your Daddy interview finally removed.

My babygirl was healthy, her baby was healthy, and a couple of hefty ‘tips’ from Mona to both our Matre’d and our waitress smoothed over any lingering awkwardness around the “former sorority girls getting drunk at an expensive restaurant” thing.

By the third bottle of wine, we were all very much enjoying ourselves.

It wasn’t the same level of debauchery we’d displayed at Delta Rho’s hidden hot springs, but it wasn’t all that far off from it, either.

We had the entire back room to ourselves, which meant that more than once a waitress coming by with drinks was treated to the sight of Heather and Eva making out while my other women hooted, or just in time to see Maria standing on a chair to make a drunken toast that dissolved into Spanish halfway through.

My wives fed each other off their own plates, sharing the same fork and making a show of waiting on Samantha like a princess. Even Yui and Mona got into telling a couple of dirty jokes, though they put themselves at a slight remove from the rest of the harem proper.

It was okay. Everyone had the right.

We had a hell of a thing to celebrate.

I don’t think I’d realized until I finally watched the core of the Avery Company put its hair down and get wild just how much the Samantha situation was affecting the group.

I’d expected my wives to look like a weight had been lifted off their shoulders, but everyone was laughing and grinning like we’d all been given a reprieve.

They care about each other, I caught myself thinking as Lakshmi made a tearful speech about ‘her president’ standing strong in the face of adversity. Even the girls on the outside of this thing think of us as their family.

It filled my heart with warmth and gladness.

And down in a lower part of my anatomy, I felt the desire to bring those girls on the periphery a hell of a lot closer to my wives than they already were.

The group did not end up leaving together. Yukiko’s plan involving multiple designated drivers turned out to be a good one, because around ten PM, Samantha climbed into my arms and gave me a long, loving kiss in front of the entire group.

“No, you stay,” she insisted when I told her I’d ride back with her. “If I wasn’t so fried, I would close this whole place out with you, Daddy. Make it a real Delta Rho party.” She smiled, probably thinking about the party she’d once thrown at the hot springs. “But I’m exhausted.”

“You sure, babygirl?”

“Watch me.”

She’d stood up then, Caroline at her elbow, and lifted a glass of ginger ale. No booze for the pregnant girls, though the rest of the group more than made up for it.

“Listen up, bitches,” Samantha said, slipping back into the old manner with a knowing grin. “Your president is going home and going to bed, because I have had one hell of a day and this girl needs her beauty rest.”

“We love you, Samantha!” Heather and Eva chorused.

Samantha smirked. “If I find out tomorrow that you girls did not throw a rager until this place kicked you out, I’m going to be very disappointed in you,” she laughed. “Make me proud!”

And after a round of kisses and well-wishes that felt like it went all around the table twice, my babygirl departed with a small entourage to go sleep the first dreamless sleep she’d had in a week.

Mona and Yui left about forty-five minutes later, each making excuses and enduring plenty of drunken goodbyes. Mona dragged Heather and Eva along with her, muttering something about ‘public indecency’ and the way space in the cars had been divvied up.

That left me, Yukiko, and Marcie as the core group. With Maria, Tasha and Lakshmi still in attendance.

We wound up staying until closing time. I have no idea how much food and drink we ordered, but it must have been extreme. Thank goodness for company expense cards, is all I can say.

The next thing I knew, I was weaving across the parking lot. The lights in the steakhouse were flipping off one by one, and Yukiko was clicking the key-fob to Maria’s oversized SUV, making the lights flash and the horn beep jauntily.

“Everybody in,” Yukiko said, her eyes shining with more than professional interest. “As the only sober person left in this group, I’m driving.”

Maria shared a look with my princess. “I call shotgun,” she said.

If I’d been less drunk, I’d have caught the fact that the two of them had already figured this part out ahead of time. But I was buzzed and had my hands on several choice parts of Marcie and Tasha’s anatomy, and the subtleties of my head wife’s planning escaped me.

“Very good,” Kiki said with a knowing smile. “Maria up front. Tasha, Laks, in the back with Jack. Marcie…” Her smile widened. “You sit wherever you’d like, angel.”

Marcie hiccupped. “I wanna sit in Jack’s lap,” she purred.

“I thought you might say that,” Yukiko replied, excited.

Which was how I ended up in the back of Maria’s SUV at nearly two in the morning, chauffeured by Yukiko, with three gorgeous women surrounding me who had absolutely no intention of keeping their hands to themselves on the drive home.

Kiki pulled out of the parking lot, fiddling with the sound system at the center of Maria’s dashboard at the next red light.

“Tinted windows and an absolute banging bass tone,” she said, smirking at the passenger seat as she queued up the best of her slutty pop playlist. “Did you make this thing into a sexmobile or did it just come that way?”

“Car pulling up to an open house is the first thing a client sees,” Maria said with a smirk. “Even more than the outfit, it’s a first impression. You want to give them the impression of success…”

I was way past first impressions in the backseat—and there was more than enough success to go around.

Marcie moved in my lap, her manner remarkably warm and loose for someone who’d supposedly stuck to her doctor’s new limits where alcohol consumption was concerned.

She ground her ass against me like she knew exactly what the contact was doing, then turned around as Yukiko pulled onto the highway and draped her arms around my neck.

Her lips found mine, opening against me. My hands went to the small of her back, holding her tight against the faint rumble of the engine.

“Did I do good today, Uncle Jack?” Marcie murmured, her eyes filled with love and devotion. “With the Zoom call?”

“You did a hell of a good job, babygirl,” I agreed.

Marcie smiled. “I want a reward,” my angel said, a little growl escaping her as she rolled her hips against the bulge in my slacks. “Can I have a reward? I promise, I won’t tell anybody, it’ll be our little secret. I’ll be so quiet about it…”

Fuck. “I don’t want you to be quiet about it,” I grunted.

Yukiko glanced at the rearview mirror without turning around. “Rewards are encouraged,” she said, reaching for the turn signal. “In fact…”

She shifted into the right lane, taking the next exit. An exit which in no way led anywhere near our neighborhood.

“I think tonight we’re going to take the scenic route,” Yukiko said, sharing a chuckle with Maria.

“A long-cut,” the Latina laughed. “Sounds good to me, mami.”

It sounded good to me, too.

As Marcie wriggled in my lap, her hot little tongue sliding into my mouth, Lakshmi unbuckled her seatbelt and slid to the floor.

Only now did I realize that the back row of the SUV had been intentionally folded back to give our group more space—which meant Yukiko had been thinking about this all the way back when she organized the DDs and assigned me to this vehicle.

Always thinking about me, my princess.

Always preparing these hot little presents for her husband.

Lakshmi smiled up at me from her knees, her eyes ever so slightly glazed over. “I want it noted,” she giggled, pulling her hair into a braid and tucking it behind her back, “that I have been an extremely patient woman, Jack.”

She most certainly had. She was too polite to push the way harem girls like Heather and Eva would have, but Lakshmi Majumdar clearly had not been getting as much personal time with me as she either wanted or needed.

She’d waited her turn without complaining, as patient as a farmer waiting for monsoon season, secure in the knowledge that eventually the sky would open and everything she wanted would come raining down.

The first few drops split the clouds as she reached for my belt, freeing me. The real rain started when she slid her hand beneath my boxers, found me hard and ready for her touch, and let out a sound that was neither prim nor proper.

“Marcella?” Lakshmi batted her eyes like Marcie was standing in front of her at the coffee machine. “Would you give me a bit more space, dearie? Thank you.”

I slid my hands beneath Marcie’s ass and lifted. My angel reacted by pushing me against the seat, putting her knees on either side of my chest and reaching for her top, peeling it from her slender frame.

“Fuck yes,” Maria said, twisting around in the passenger seat to watch. “I thought they were never going to get started, boo.”

Yukiko turned the stereo down a notch to listen in better and chuckled. “My husband’s head is a little fuzzy right now,” she said, glancing in the rearview mirror. “Looks like Lakshmi’s is fine, though…”

Oh fuck. Oh, it certainly was.
