CHAPTER TWO
It was Friday night, and I was completely wasted.
I promised myself that I wouldn’t get too drunk, but I ate a whole bunch of these yummy snacks.
They were shaped like human penis’s and were called jelly oh shits or something.
I didn’t realize that they had alcohol in them.
The party was off campus, and I didn’t feel well, so I decided to walk home, back to the Del Nautilus house.
I took off my heels and carried them in one hand.
I was wearing a short leopard-print dress that I borrowed from one of the other girls.
It was tight, and I felt like I could hardly move in it.
Or maybe that was the alcohol in my bloodstream.
I kept walking down the sidewalk, watching out for rocks and pieces of glass.
The city was relatively clean, but you could never be too careful.
I felt a few raindrops on my head, and within seconds I was caught in a torrential downpour.
I suddenly realized I didn’t know where I was.
I paused and took in my surroundings. Had I missed a turn?
I wasn’t sure. I tried to read the street signs, but they were blurry.
I wondered if I’d been drugged at the party, but if I was drugged, would I be thinking about whether or not I was drugged? I wasn’t entirely sure.
I heard a car beep and looked back over my shoulder. A shiny navy blue vehicle pulled up next to me, and the window rolled down. My first instinct was to run, but I was frozen there with my mouth half open, feeling the world spin beneath my feet.
“Xena?” A voice said from the car. “Are you alright?”
I rubbed my eyes, probably smudging eyeliner and glitter all over my green skin since I was soaked from the rain. I approached the vehicle slowly. Unsure of who it was, but they clearly knew my name. I put my hands on the edge of the door and leaned forward, looking into the dark interior.
I gasped and straightened quickly. “Professor Wells?” I bent forward again, and my tits were practically hanging out of the tight dress, but I didn’t notice. I was cold from the rain and starting to shiver.
“Are you alright?” he asked again.
I didn’t answer; I just blinked a couple of times and swayed a little. “Huh?”
“Get in the car, Xena.” Professor Wells reached across the center console and opened the passenger side door a little. “It’s fucking raining, come on.”
I got in the car and closed the door behind me. He rolled the window up, and I was suddenly enclosed in this small dark place with my professor. I wrapped my arms around myself. I was freezing.
He turned up the heat quickly and reached into the backseat. He grabbed an old grey hoodie that said Verne University on it and handed it to me. “Put this on,” he said.
I obeyed, feeling instantly safe and cozy. I could feel my ears getting warmer and pulled the hood up on the sweatshirt before he could see them glowing, but I was too late, and he smiled. I wondered if he knew that was my version of blushing or if he just thought it was cute.
“Um…” I didn’t know what to say.
“What are you doing?” he asked.
The car was in park, and we were just sitting there on the side of the road with the rain falling softly against the windows around us.
His car smelled so good for some reason, and it was really clean.
I wanted to pull down the visor and look in the mirror, but that seemed like an odd thing to do, so I just wiped at my eyes with the back of my hand, hoping to clean up my makeup a bit.
“I was just walking back to campus.” My words came out slurred, and I pointed straight ahead.
“Are you drunk?” was his next question, but he answered for me and said, “Of course you are. You’re a college student on a Friday night.”
“I didn’t know there was alcohol in the jelly dicks.”
Professor Wells chuckled. “What?” He continued to laugh and shook his head. “You know that campus is that way, right?” He tilted his head in the opposite direction.
I looked over my shoulder and shrugged.
“OK, I’ll drive you home. You live in the Del Nau house, right?”
I nodded. “Yeah.”
Professor Wells turned his car around and headed toward campus. “You’re lucky I had a late meeting. You know, it’s only 8 p.m. When I was in college I was out until sunrise. Are all beings from your planet lightweights?”
“I don’t know.” I was confused. I had no idea what he was talking about.
“How much did you have to drink?”
“I didn’t drink. I ate the jelly dicks.” I giggled, suddenly hearing how absurd that sounded.
“Are you talking about Jell-O shots?”
“Yes, exactly.” Jelly oh shits, or Jell-O shots, apparently.
“Why were they dick-shaped?”
I shrugged. I didn’t know why humans found male appendages so funny.
As I thought about it, I glanced down at my professor’s lap.
I wondered what his human dick looked like.
Then I looked out the window and watched the rain fall.
I shouldn’t be thinking about my professor’s dick.
I thought. I shouldn’t even be alone with him in his car right now.
“OK, this is as close as I can take you. We’re in B-lot. Do you think you can make it the rest of the way from here?” Professor Wells parked the car. It was the closest parking lot to my sorority house, but I still had to walk across the campus.
“Yeah, this is fine. Thanks.” I got out of the car. It was still raining, just a little bit. It was starting to stop.
I waved to Professor Wells and started walking through the grass, barefoot. I felt nauseous all of a sudden and dropped down to my knees. I thought I was going to throw up, but I took a deep breath and tried to keep the boozy dicks in my stomach.
I felt someone behind me, holding my hair back. It was Professor Wells. I looked up at him with my eyes watering.
“Are you going to be sick?” he asked.
“No… I think I’m OK.” I tried to stand up, but the Earth spun faster than I expected it to and I fell back down.
“Fuck,” he groaned and wrapped an arm around my waist.
I held onto his shoulder to steady myself, and the sudden closeness made my pussy purr and my ears light up. I broke away and fell back on my butt, sitting in the wet grass.
“OK, Xena, I’m gonna walk you back to your house.” He helped me up again, but didn’t grab me this time.
The tips of my ears were still glowing bright, but I didn’t even care anymore. I was so tired and nauseous, and I wanted to go to bed.
“I just don’t want anyone to see us together,” he mumbled. “This seems inappropriate, but I can’t just leave you like this.”
“Oh, don’t worry.” I took a few shaky steps and stopped. “Everyone’s still at the party. No one will see us. Campus is practically empty.” I gestured around. There was no one in sight. Just me and my glowing ears and my hot professor.
“OK, let’s go. I’m gonna help you.” He gave me a warning this time before snaking one arm around my waist. Then he started to walk with me across the lawn.
“I’m sorry,” I said quietly.
“It happens,” he laughed. “I just want to make sure you get home safely.”
I nodded.
“Why do your ears keep glowing like that?” he asked suddenly.
I gasped and brought a hand to one of my ears. “It’s nothing, I’m just drunk. I’m… um… what happens to humans when they drink?”
“Oh, you’re flushed?”
“Yes, exactly. It’s just like that.” I felt proud of myself for making up a good excuse in my drunken state, but I pulled the hood of Professor Wells’ hoodie back up over my ears.
It smelled so good. I wondered if he wore it to the gym or something.
We made it to the Delta Nautilus house, and I was correct in my assumption that it was deserted. Professor Wells walked me inside, being cautious and looking around like he was nervous that someone would see him there. When he realized that it was empty, he seemed to relax a little.
“Where’s your room?” he asked, taking a look around.
I wondered if he’d ever been there. He said before that he’d been a student at Verne. The Delta Nautilus sorority was new, but the building was old. I wondered what it used to be. I thought about asking him, but it felt weird making casual conversation with my professor while I was wasted.
“It’s upstairs.” I looked up the stairs.
I thought he would leave now that I was safe inside the house, but he took my hand and led me up the stairs. At the top, I gestured toward my door. He tried to open it, but it was locked. He looked back at me.
I lifted his hoodie slightly to find my purse, which was still slung across my body. I pulled out my phone and my keys and unlocked the door. I stepped inside, and he followed me in. He didn’t close the door behind him, though.
“Do you have a roommate?” he asked, even though the answer was obvious from the other bed in the room.
“Yes, um… her name is January,” I replied.
I finally got a glimpse of myself in the full-length mirror that hung on the closet. I didn’t look as bad as I thought, but my hair was soaked and stringy, and I did have a little bit of eyeliner smudged under my eyes.
“January?” Professor Wells repeated my roomie’s name with a perplexed expression on his face. “She’s from Virgo Astra too?”
“Yes, we all are.” I nodded and tossed my heels down on the floor. I pulled the wet hoodie off, revealing the damp leopard-print dress that clung to my body. I hung the hoodie over my desk chair to dry, and stood awkwardly in front of my professor.
It was so nice of him to make sure I got home alright. I couldn’t believe he was still there, standing in my room.
He picked up a book from my desk and looked at it, then he put it back. He stepped a bit closer to me and reached a hand up slowly to touch my ear. “They’re still glowing. Are you sure that’s normal? You’re not having a bad reaction to the…” He laughed.
“The jelly dicks.” I giggled. “No, I’m fine. I’m already sobering up.”
He nodded, and his hand lingered near my ear; then it trailed down to my jaw, and I let out a soft breath.
I leaned in a bit closer, and rested my hands against his chest. I thought he would pull back, but he didn’t.
My pussy hummed, and he looked down as if he heard the soft sound of the vibrations.
Then he looked directly into my eyes. I realized for the first time how blue his were.
They reminded me of seeing Earth for the first time.
I wet my lips, and he put a hand on my lower back, and then we kissed.
It didn’t feel real. I wondered again if I’d been drugged and if I had hallucinated this whole encounter, but then his tongue slipped past my lips into my mouth, and I knew it was actually happening. I was making out with my professor five feet away from my bed.
I met his tongue with mine, and he pulled away immediately. The texture of my tongue must have been shocking to him. I wasn’t sure if he’d ever kissed an alien before. “I’m sorry,” I whispered.
“No,” he shook his head. “I am. I shouldn’t have done that. You’re drunk, and… well… you’re my student.” He let out a nervous laugh. “I should go, but…” he took my phone out of my hand and typed his number into it. “Text me in the morning, so I know you’re alright.”
For a moment I thought he was going to kiss me again, but he just shoved his hands in his pockets and disappeared through my door. I looked down at my phone at his number, and the name, just “Arthur.” I smiled to myself, stripped out of my wet dress, and passed out on my bed.
