Chapter 16 #2
As he milked my cock with his fist and resumed his rhythm, my climax rushed to the surface in a torrent of mind-numbing pleasure from inside and out.
I’d become so obedient with him, my body obeying any of his requests.
With pleasure rocketing up my spine, I fell off the edge, my cock spurting cum onto my chest in hot ropes.
“Fuck, yeah.” I groaned and writhed in his powerful arms, submitting to the relentless spasms wracking my body with sensation.
As it waned, his arms tightened around me, and he kissed my cheek. “You’re the best I’ve ever had, Julian. Vibrator or no vibrator, it’s more than physical with you. It’s…” He buried his face into my neck. “So much more.”
Emotion flooded my heart, and I kissed his head. It was exactly what I needed to hear. Somehow, we’d work our way out of this predicament we were in. We had to. “Same, Alex, same.”
“Okay, can you turn the plug off now? It’s tickling.” With a soft chuckle, he planted a quick kiss on my shoulder.
“Oh, yeah, sure.” I fell onto my straight arms, tapped on my phone and shut the vibration off. “Better?” I leaned forward and his spent dick slipped from my ass.
“Yes.” He gasped and sat on his legs. “Now, how do we remove this thing?” He giggled softly.
“We pull it out.” With a grin, I spun around and gestured for him to lie on his back. “Did you like it?” He seemed to.
“I did.” He rested on his back and lifted his knees, exposing the base of the plug. “Not too fast now.” His one brow rose.
“Don’t worry, I’m a professional.” With a snicker, I took the flared end, gently pulled it from him and tossed it onto the floor. “There.” I lowered over him, my legs between his and elbows on either side of his head. “What do you think?” Would he consider letting me top?
“I’d like that more often. It might have been the strongest orgasm I’ve ever had.
” He wound an arm around my back and then cupped my cheek.
“I want to give you what you need, Julian. We can work on this, okay?” Lifting his head, he pressed a soft kiss on my lips.
“I enjoyed it. I’m open to trying new things with you. ”
“Good.” I had the answer I needed. “Let’s have a quick shower and get you home.” I tapped his nose. Margot would be there, but he’d rejected her, so hopefully she wouldn’t try anything more.
“Yeah, I’m supposed to be having dinner at Jett and Mason’s house.” He huffed a sigh. “A team dinner of sorts.”
“That’s what you told Margot?” I crawled off him and the bed. I’d have to remember that in case I saw her. I probably wouldn’t, but who knew? Cum slid down my inner thigh. “Shit, I’m leaking.” I strode toward my en-suite bathroom.
“That you are.” With a snigger, he followed me, and we washed in the shower.
After dressing, I walked him to my door. “So, tomorrow night?” I bit my lower lip. I couldn’t wait to see his place.
“Yes, I’ll even make you dinner.” Leaning in, he placed his hand on my cheek and captured me in a lingering kiss. “How about steaks on my barbecue? We can eat on the patio by the pool.”
It sounded lovely. He never made Margot dinner… “Sure. I’m looking forward to it.” I eyed him. “Where do you live?”
“In DC Ranch.” The corners of his lips quirked. “It’ll be nice having you in my home.” He held up his injured wrist. “And I can ice at will.”
I winced. “Shit, sorry, I have ice packs, but—”
“It’s okay, we had other things on our minds. I’ll ice it when I get home.” He placed his hand on the doorknob. “It’s feeling much better, anyway. I don’t need to ice constantly.”
With a nod, I said, “Okay, but let’s not forget it tomorrow night.” I wanted to see him return to the rink as soon as possible.
“Sure, see you tomorrow.” After a brief kiss, he opened the door and left.
It was time to work on the solution Cam had suggested for my relationship with Alex.
First, I’d check the franchise policy. Sitting in my office the next day, I clicked through pages of the document, reading over sections on coworker, player, and coach fraternization.
The policy was like what we’d covered in my classes at Harvard for regular companies.
I scanned across a particular passage, and there it was, in black and white. I whispered it aloud, “To prevent conflicts of interest, coaching staff on any level is prohibited from engaging in romantic or sexual relationships with players.”
I leaned back in my office chair. I was fucked. I was the operations assistant to the head coach and, therefore, part of the coaching staff. Tapping my fingers on my chin, my mind raced. What position could I take and still learn hockey?
Pitching forward, I clicked on more HR files and found a listing of departments and job descriptions.
The franchise included financial functions with revenue streams from corporate sponsorships to ticket sales, marketing with media events, and then logistics with team travel.
I smirked. Clearly, they needed help in the logistics department after leaving me stranded without a hotel room.
Exhaling a long breath, I rubbed my forehead. No other departments offered hockey instruction like the one where I was. Dad had already put me in the correct position. How the hell would I get out of this?
My phone buzzed on the desk, next to my laptop.
I glanced at it. It was fucking Ian. He’d want to firm up plans for tonight, but I was spending the evening with Alex at his house. In fact, he was making me a nice dinner. I tapped the message open.
Ian
Hey, where do you want to meet tonight? I thought we could try something different. The Mission restaurant, maybe?
I rifled back my response. I’d use the same excuse Alex had given to Margot.
Julian
Sorry, but I have last-minute plans with the team. It’s a bonding event before the regular season starts.
My phone lit with a phone call from him.
“Shit.” Hopping off my chair, I shut my door and answered the call. I didn’t need anyone walking by, like Alex, and hearing this conversation. “Hello?”
“Can’t you get out of it?” Ian let out a sharp huff. “I mean, you’re the owner’s son. Surely, that counts for something.”
“No, I can’t. It’s important for me to be there. I have to earn the respect of the players.” Had there been an event tonight, this would hold true. I paced across the small office space.
“Again, you’re the owner’s son. You should have plenty of respect already.”
My brows snapped up. “I want the kind of respect that’s earned, Ian. Not the bootlicking from being born into a position.” My views on this job had changed. I cared about the team and how they viewed me. I didn’t want to be known only as the owner’s son.
“That’s very noble and unlike you, Julian, but I get it. You truly have grown up.” He inhaled quickly. “Have you given more thought to my proposal?”
He always made it sound like a business deal, not a second chance at love.
But this was my opportunity to turn him down.
I stopped at my desk and clenched my jaw, my pulse ramping.
“Yes, I have. I…don’t think it’ll work.” He’d want a concrete reason.
“I’m traveling a lot and need to focus on my career. I don’t want any distractions from it.”
“You consider me a distraction?” He scoffed. “I’d understand the travel. Hell, I understand needing to focus on your career. I’m doing the same things. We could support each other.”
Of course, he wouldn’t listen. I’d have to be blunt. “I said, no, Ian.”
He clicked his tongue. “Are you sure? We can still be friends, though, right? Once our circumstances improve, we could—”
“I said no.” I pushed on a crack in the desk surface. I had to give him something. “We can still be friends. That won’t change.”
“Okay,” he said, inside a sigh. “But if you change your mind, I’m here.”
“Yeah, all right.” Footsteps stopped outside my door, followed by a knock. Thank God. “Hey, I have to go. Someone’s here.”
“Let me know when your schedule frees up.”
“Sure. Bye.” I ended the call and popped my door open.
Coach Henderson stood in the corridor with his laptop hanging from his hand. “I wanted to review the final roster with you. Have you got a minute?”
“Yep, where do you want to do it?” As my pulse calmed, I shut my laptop on the desk and picked it up.
That evening, I followed the directions on my phone to Alex’s house, which wasn’t very far from the home I grew up in.
As I drove my Aston Martin into the driveway, I glanced at the house, a sprawling contemporary building with stone and iron accents.
Palm trees flanked the portico covering the immense, rustic door.
It was beautiful. I had to give him that.
Thank God it wasn’t Tuscan style. If it were, I’d feel like a fool after bashing it at my place.
I parked and stepped out of my sedan, the cooling evening breeze cascading across my body. It would be an excellent evening for a meal on his patio. I strolled to his front door, and it swung open.
“Hey, Julian.” Grabbing my arm, he hauled me inside, slammed the door shut and wrapped me in a bear hug, breathing me in. “God, I can’t believe you’re in my house.”
As warmth burst into my heart, I hooked my arms around his waist. “Me neither.” Would this be our future once Margot left?
After releasing me, he planted a hard kiss on my mouth. With a broad grin, he said, “Come on. I’ll show you around. I was just about to put the steaks on the barbecue.” He led me into a large room, open to the kitchen.
My gaze ran across the heavy leather furniture, rustic tables with iron accents, and white plantation shades on the windows, the slats open to the sunset outside.
His style differed from mine, but it suited him.
“Did you, uh, pick all this out?” I glanced toward the kitchen, the knotty wood cabinets and dark granite counters surrounding matte black appliances. It was all custom and high-end.
