Epilogue Two

NOA

Five years later.

Lying in bed, I trace the scar on my husband’s chest, remembering the day he got it.

The day he died three times, and we nearly lost him forever.

I relive that traumatic time in my head all too often, despite his quick recovery and shocking doctors by regaining consciousness in the first place.

They’d come out of surgery looking depleted, poised to give me bad news, telling me to prepare for the worst.

Thankfully, my stubborn husband just had to prove everyone wrong, and now he’s stronger than ever.

As soon as he healed, we got to work trying for what we thought would be a third and final baby.

He swore I got pregnant immediately, and he could be right.

The ultrasounds continually recomputed different due dates due to the baby’s size.

Small at first, before growing into a big boy.

“You’re thinking too hard.” The rumble of his voice makes me smile. Happiness warms me from my unfavorable thoughts. He rolls on top of me, taking quick advantage of our nakedness, and slides home.

“Just thinking about your age and how virile you still are.”

Nipping at my throat, he growls in my ear.

His hips draw back, and he slams back home, making me gasp. “I’ll show you just how old I am, mama.” Cupping my ass, he pulls me up while resting on his haunches and powers in and out with a force that leaves me breathless. “There she is, my little vixen, my sweet siren looking for a good fuck.”

Running his hands over my swollen belly, this is, for sure, our fourth and last child together, but our first girl. He palms her gently, so as not to jostle her too much, and all too quickly, my body explodes, sucking him dry, ringing my ears, and stealing my breath.

Dropping over top of me, Carmine finds my lips, giving me a panty-melting kiss that emotes everything he feels for me. “You’re my home, my love, my forever.”

Wrapping my arms around his neck, I lick across his lips and murmur, “You’re mine.” Repeating the words he’s said to me throughout our entire relationship and making him chuckle.

The End!

Thank you so much for reading Primal, I hope you loved Carmine & Noa’s story as much as I did writing it.
