Chapter Twenty #2
“Alright-” The bus driver stood to his feet. “We’re here. The bus is open for your enjoyment, so feel free to come and take a load off as needed. Other than that, have a great time!”
The words weren’t even completely out of his mouth before Sage was pushing his way off the bus. He didn’t know how he’d ever repay Logic, but this was the best birthday he’d ever had, and the day was still young.
???
It was a little after ten o'clock when the party bus pulled back up to the King Projects. Everyone was half asleep, sore, and covered in paint. While the experience was fun, Tyler swore she’d never partake in anything like that again.
Every time she was shot with a paintball, she screamed, ran behind Logic, using his body as a shield.
Like a man’s man, Logic ate the shots up, showing off to impress her, but his body was on fire.
“I'm so exhausted,” Tyler whined, stepping off the bus.
“I’m taking a shower first,” Spice called, dragging her body up their stoop.
“I’m second,” Shugg followed up. “Bye yall,” she waved, not bothering to turn around.
“Bye girlies.” Aria blew them a kiss. “Ty, I’ll be in the car.”
“I’ll take her home,” Logic spoke up, not ready for their night to end just yet.
“You know I need to be in the house by two, right?” Tyler arched her eyebrow.
“And it’s ten something. I got you.”
“Ok.” Tyler turned to give Aria a hug. “Text me when you make it home.”
“Will do.”
“Aye, can you drop me off?” Al asked, jogging behind Aria.
“No.” She frowned.
“Damn, I thought because they were kicking it, we might as well...you know.”
“No, nigga. I don’t know and I can’t drop you off.” Aria flicked her wrist, switching over to her car. Retrieving the ticket from the windshield, she stuffed it back in her purse for safekeeping.
“I should have told them to strip your shit,” Al called after her.
“Strip these nuts!” Aria gave him the middle finger.
“And that’s your best friend?” Al asked, turning to Tyler.
“Is.”
“Ty girl, it was so nice seeing you again.” Pearl yawned. “I’m about to carry my ass home.”
“It was nice seeing you too, Pearl. Bye Duce.”
“Later, sweetheart.” Duce winked.
“Duce,” Pearl snapped. “Get yo winking ass in the car before I give yo ass a permanent eye twitch.”
Snickering, Tyler watched the couple bicker all the way to their car.
All day they had been going back and forth, and Tyler thought it was the funniest thing ever.
Whenever Logic did something for her, Pearl looked at Duce and rolled her eyes.
When she tried to hide behind him during the paintball war, Duce pushed her to save himself.
If it weren’t for Sage, Pearl would have bruises all over her body.
“I guess I’mma get the fuck outta here too since yall trying to act all sleepy and shit,” Al snorted. “I know how to read the room.”
“Yet you’re still talking,” Tyler teased.
“I’m saying, you don’t have any more friends...nice ones?”
“Nope.”
“Man, that’s fucked up. Pretty girls don’t never have no friends, but ugly bitches got a gang of roughneck looking chicks.”
“Bye.” Logic slid his arm around Tyler. “I’ll call you tomorrow.”
“I’ll call you tomorrow,” Al mocked. “Whatever nigga. I got hoes too,” he mumbled, walking away. “Hey Siri, call Brandy hoe ass.”
“Sorry, there is no Brandy hoe ass in your contacts,” Siri replied.
“Bitch you know what I mean,” Al cursed, hopping in his car.
“How do you deal with him?”
“Shit, I don’t know. That nigga been like that since I met him.” Logic shrugged. “Yo, Sage, it’s time to come in.”
“I’m sixteen, bro. Don’t that mean I get another hour?”
“Nigga, no. Get the fuck in the house.”
“It’s cool,” Joey chuckled. “Thanks for taking me with yall.”
“No problem,” Logic dismissed him.
“And nice meeting you, Tyler. You are fine as hell in real life too,” Joey complimented.
“Are you trying to get shot in your dick?” Logic scowled at him.
“Be nice.” Tyler elbowed him in the side. “It was nice meeting you too, Joey. Stay out of trouble.”
“Will do, sweetheart,” he winked.
“Get the fuck from around here.” Logic jumped, sending Joey jogging down the street. “You think that shit funny, huh?” Logic tickled Tyler.
“Stop!” She tried to run from him, but he caught her, hugging her waist from behind.
“Come get in the shower with me.” Logic kissed the back of her neck.
“I don’t just get in the shower with anyone.”
“It’s a good thing I’m your boyfriend then, huh?”
“You’re not my boyfriend.”
“What I say?” He popped her on the ass.
“I do need to wash this paint off me, and since you sent my ride away, I guess that means I’m stuck with you.”
“Stuck as fuck.” Logic kissed the back of her neck. “Come on.”
Stepping into his apartment, Logic led Tyler straight to his room.
He didn’t know which one of his sisters was in the bathroom, but he hoped it was Shugg because that meant Spice had already went.
Knowing Sage, he wasn’t going to take a shower until the morning, so Logic started gathering a couple of towels and washcloths.
“Your room is so clean.” Tyler surveyed his space. “Your entire place is actually.”
“Whaaaat, you complimenting my shit after you came over here with your nose turned up the first time?”
“See, that’s where you’re wrong. You acting like I voluntarily came over here. I was kidnapped, might I remind you.”
“Oh, so you have Stockholm syndrome?”
“I might,” Tyler giggled, touching the bottles of neatly lined cologne on his nightstand. “Do you have OCD?”
“Nah, I just used to get my ass whooped for having a messy room and I guess the shit stuck with me. Plus, I think better when my space is clear. Look in the third drawer and you can grab a T-shirt and a pair of my shorts,” he instructed. “You want a bottle of water or something?”
“Yes.” Tyler nodded. “A water is cool.”
Doing the complete opposite, Tyler scanned the top of his dresser before opening the first drawer.
Her eyes bucked at all the skimpy women's clothing.
Bras, thongs, shorts, and other articles of clothing filled the drawer, making Tyler slightly uncomfortable.
Pulling out a pink thong, she turned to face Logic.
“You cross-dress too?” she quizzed, holding it in the air.
“Fuck outta here. That’s Scottie shit.”
“Who?”
“Thrash mouth.”
“Oh,” Tyler giggled, knowing who he was talking about the first time. “Damn, girly had a drawer and everything.” She dropped the thong. “I feel like I’m invading her space. Maybe I should go.”
“There you go with that running shit. As soon as I get you to let you guard down, you start thinking of an escape plan.”
“I mean I did just stumble on a drawer full of women's clothing. Who knows what else you have hiding in here?”
“I honestly forgot that shit was in there.”
“Mm.” Tyler tooted her nose. “I don’t know if you can be my boyfriend and you still saving souvenirs.”
Instead of responding, Logic picked up the garbage can on the side of his bed and handed it to her. Tyler glanced down at it and then back up at him.
“What’s this for?” she asked.
“If it’s bothering you, throw the shit away.” Logic shrugged. “It’s not that serious.”
“I’m not throwing that girl stuff away.”
“Then don’t.” He set the garbage can back down. “But don’t try to bring it up later and use it as an excuse to run.”
“At least you know.” Tyler smacked her lips, already thinking of a million reasons why her being in his apartment was a bad idea.
“Good night, Lo.” Shugg tapped on his door. “Thank you for today.”
Opening the door, Logic gave her a hug and kissed her forehead.
“You’re welcome.”
“Ty, are you staying the night?” Shugg asked, stepping around her brother.
“No, I’ll be leaving soon. Your brother trying to kidnap me again.”
“Aht aht. Let that girl go before you end up in the MeToo movement.”
“Go to bed,” Logic waved her off.
“I’m going, but no means no,” Shugg whispered before skating off to her bedroom.
“I love your sisters.” Tyler shook her head. “They say whatever comes to their mind.”
“I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.”
“It’s a good thing. You’ve created a comfortable space for them to speak their mind, and you should be proud of that. They feel safe enough to use their voice knowing they won’t be ridiculed.”
“So you saying I didn’t fuck them up?”
“Not at all,” Tyler promised.
“Good.” Logic slipped his hand into hers. “Come on.”
Guiding her through the small hallway, Tyler allowed Logic to lead her to the bathroom.
Sitting their towels on the counter, he started the water and stepped out of the bathroom, giving Tyler enough time to take off her clothes and get in the shower.
When he returned, she was still standing there fully dressed, only this time the candles on the counter were lit.
“My fault, I thought you’d be in the shower. I’ll give you a minute to undress.”
“Or you could undress me,” Tyler suggested, holding her hands up so he could remove her shirt. Nodding, Logic closed the door and locked it. He placed their water and his tray on the counter and moved toward her.
“You trying to be my big baby?” he asked, closing the space between them.
“Yea. I like the idea of you taking care of me.”
“Aight, I can do that.”
Logic lifted Tyler’s shirt over her head and let it drop to the floor. Reaching around her back, he skillfully unlatched her bra, releasing her perky C cups. Unable to control himself, Logic ran his finger across her pierced nipples, causing a low moan to escape her parted lips.
“That shit is sexy,” he mumbled, lightly twirling the rings. “Are they sensitive?”
“Very,” Tyler whispered.
Kneeling, Logic peeled off her bottoms and the black lace panties that matched her bra. Inhaling, he took a quick whiff of her pussy and grinned.
“How yo pussy still smell so good after all that running around?”
“Because my PH balance is top tier, nigga. What kinda stank booty bitches you be fucking with? And don’t be trying to steal my panties and add them to your collection.”
