Chapter 4 Rowdy #2

“Bruh! You won’t believe this shit. Last night when I made it to Memphis, I put my ears to the streets and found out that the nigga Serg has a bag on his head.

I was gonna find his family and off them bitches, but now I got something better for his ass.

He crossed the College Park niggas and got a lot of them niggas jammed up.

They big homie is on the trail now, and they said that nigga supposed to be testifying.

They been looking for that nigga. I done said too much, but I’m on the highway, and I’ll see you in a few hours.

We about to settle all this shit,” Trell said before we hung up.

I gathered myself and let what Trell told me sink in.

We were living in a different time, and now niggas snitching on their own people had become the norm.

I would never be able to do that shit. Give me a hunnit’ years, and I still wouldn’t rat on my crew.

I got up and brushed my teeth, then I went and found my pops.

He was sitting in the living room, watching the news and drinking coffee.

He looked stressed, and I just prayed that this all would be over today.

“Any word? I ain’t get a wink of sleep! I been sitting here since we got in last night. I won’t rest until I have that bitch’s head on a platter. She fucked with the wrong family!” my pops snapped without taking his eyes off the tv.

“Yeah, Trell found out some valuable information on the nigga with Diamond. He’s on his way back in town, and we’re gonna make a move when he gets back.

I’m still waiting on a call from Diamond.

She hasn’t reached back out, and on the cool, I’m worried.

I don’t want you stressing though, Pops.

Get you a nap, and I’ll wake you up if something changes. ”

“This ain’t the time for sleep! I’ll sleep when my grandson is in his own damn house and not in the presence of some psychotic ass bitch. Don’t worry about me, son, I’m straight!” my pops insisted.

I knew that what he said was final, and I wasn’t going to push the issue.

He moved on his time. I sat down on the couch beside him and watched the news.

After chilling for a few hours with no call from Diamond, Trell called back, telling me to meet up our spot.

My pops and I headed out, and I anticipated what Trell was about to tell me next.

When I made it to our spot, there were five cars outside.

I didn’t know what Trell had going on. No one was supposed to even know where this place was.

Once we got inside, there was about twelve hood ass niggas sitting around, smoking and talking to Trell.

When we walked in, everyone stood to greet my pops.

They gave him mad respect and was grateful to be in the same room with a legend.

Trell introduced them to us, and he ran down the whole story to me.

The head nigga in charge name was Rico, who told me that upon us leading them to Serg alive, they had fifty racks for us.

I didn’t know about the next man, but one thing I didn’t do was turn down easy bread.

All I had to do now was wait for the call.

There was a code in the streets, and Serg broke that. Now it was time for him to pay the piper. I didn’t know the nigga, but what I did know was that if these niggas hadn’t shown up, I was gonna be the man to kill him.

Just as I was starting to think Diamond wouldn’t call today, my phone rang, and it was her.

When I answered, she told me to have my money together, and that she would call back in an hour with the location for us to meet her.

She agreed that she would have Harmoni and Cadence.

As soon as I ended the call, my 360 app dinged, letting me know that Harmoni’s phone was back on and had pinged a location.

I instantly zoomed in and was able to screenshot it right before the location dropped again.

I was unable to get the full address, only the area and streets near it.

I didn’t give a fuck; I was about to find it.

I told everyone what was said, and we came up with a plan to get at them right away.

We hopped in our cars, and everyone followed me.

I was nervous as hell because I didn’t know what I was about to pull up to.

I just prayed that everything would be alright.

While I was on the highway, I got a call from Ciara.

“What’s up, Ci?” I answered.

“I got the Lo on Diamond and her nigga. I know where they keeping Moni. I just texted you the address, and I’m on my way!” she blurted.

“How you know this? You don’t need to come, Ciara. Just be cool! I’m gonna handle this shit. I already have a team of niggas trailing me right now. We don’t need your help. Go home!”

“Man, if you don’t stop fucking insulting me!

Who the fuck do I look like to go home and sit still?

Nigga please. You my brother, and I don’t wanna disrespect you, but it’s clear that you don’t know me like that.

What’s even more insulting is that you were about to ride out and leave me hanging!

Ain’t that some bullshit! I’ll see you soon,” Ciara said and hung up.

My pops and I both shook our heads. I couldn’t believe that I would have to deal with crazy ass Ciara for the rest of my life.

She made it clear that she wasn’t going anywhere, and I didn’t know whether to love or hate that for my future wife.

The location that my app gave me was only twenty minutes from where we were, so we made it in no time.

As we got closer, I clicked the address that Ciara had just sent me, and it was at the same spot. Only it was the exact location.

We parked on the dirt road about three minutes away from the actual location.

I knew that no one would be coming that way, so I wasn’t worried about getting caught up.

When we all parked on the side of the road, all the Memphis niggas jumped out guns in hand.

As we walked toward the address, we noticed the same black SUV parked in the yard.

I made sure the niggas with us knew that we were kicking the door in immediately. I wasn’t there to talk or play games. I was strictly here to get my family.
