Sky and I sat on the couch in Vibe's dressing room, completely star struck. The room was chaotic, filled with his entourage and a few of his artists. The atmosphere was thick with the scent of weed and the sound of laughter and excited conversations. Drinks and blunts were being passed around like party favors. The vibe was insane and a complete contrast to the ordinary life I was used to.

As I soaked it all in, Vibe began to walk towards the couch that I was perched on. Legacy had introduced me and Sky to him as soon as we got in the dressing room about an hour ago. I was completely star struck and overwhelmed by how he immediately treated us like family.

As he moved through the tight crowd in the room, his presence commanded the room even in the midst of all the chaos.

"! It’s good to finally meet you, babe!” he exclaimed as he sat next to me. His grin was so infectious that I giggled.

Sky and I scooted over, giving him room.

“I've heard so much about you, girl.” He grinned.

"Really?" I replied, trying to mask my surprise and excitement. "Good things, I hope."

Vibe chuckled. "All good things. Legacy talks about you all the time. He loves you so much."

My heart skipped a beat at his words. I blushed, recalling the way Legacy's focus had been on me all night. Even now, as I spoke to Vibe, I could feel his eyes on me, claiming me, owning me.

"Legacy is a good dude," Vibe continued. "He's come so far. And a big part of that is because of you."

My cheeks filled with pride, but I was quickly reminded of the complexities and pain of our relationship and the way that I had deceived him. I didn’t feel as if I even deserved the loyalty of his love.

"Thank you.” I was so choked up that I had to force out, "He's been through a lot."

Vibe nodded. "We all have our demons. But it's clear that you two have something special."

I glanced over at Legacy, who was standing across the room, surrounded by people but with his eyes locked on me. The intensity of his gaze made me feel vulnerable yet cherished.

"Yeah, we do," I admitted.

Vibe smiled and patted my shoulder. "Don't let it slip away."

As he stood up to join the rest of his crew, I sat there lost in thought. The noise and excitement of the dressing room faded into the background as I focused on Legacy. Despite everything, despite the hurt, and the betrayal, the connection between us was undeniable.

Sky nudged me, bringing me back to reality. "You okay?"

I nodded, forcing a smile. "Yeah, I’m just taking it all in."

She grinned. "This shit is wild, right?"

"Yeah," I agreed, glancing at Legacy one more time.

His eyes softened when they met mine.

"Sky, I'll be right back," I said as I stood up from the couch.

She nodded, still caught up in the excitement of the room.

I made my way through the crowd. My stance was wobbly as my legs shook nervously. The chaos around me faded as I focused on my destination. Legacy was across the room, his tall frame standing out among the people. As if sensing me, he started to make his way towards me as well.

We met in the middle, and I looked up into his light brown eyes. He towered over me, his presence grounding me in the midst of the discord surrounding us.

Gently, I reached out and grabbed his hand. I exhaled in relief when he squeezed my hand. The warmth of his touch calmed my nerves.

I tried to be as flirtatious and seductive as I could. I licked my lips slowly, tasting the gloss as I batted my eyes. "Are you coming home with me?"

He looked down at me, locking his gaze on me for a few seconds, torturing me. "Yeah.”
