Chapter 12 Natalya
“We’ve known one another a whole week,” I inform Hayride.
“Yeah. Still don’t know enough about you yet. Not sure I ever will.” He winks, pulling me onto his lap.
My fingers trace the ink on his chest as I face him. We’re in his room at the clubhouse, finding a rare moment to be alone together. Thad ordered me to leave his room and let him sleep. I promised to return tomorrow and bring real food.
“I never got a chance to thank you for what you did for Thad.”
“I saw you in the ambulance. We’re good.” Hayride’s palms roam over my hips and settle on my ass, giving my bottom a squeeze. “This ass, babe. It’s too goddamn tempting.”
“Tempting how?”
“I’ve been thinking all day about taking you from behind and watching those cheeks jiggle as I fuck you.”
“You’re so scandalous.”
“I’m not hearing you say no.”
“That’s because I’m not.”
His mouth widens into a sexy grin—one of those smiles that’s sinful and handsome at the same time. I’ll never tire of seeing it.
“Need you naked, gorgeous.”
“You want to strip me?”
He groans. “No. My patience is gone.”
“Because I’ve got a tempting ass?” I tease, rolling off him as I laugh, flinging clothes as I tug them off. I’m wearing only a thong as I get on my hands and knees and face him. There’s a significant bulge. “Is that a surprise in your pocket or are you happy to see me?”
“Nat, baby, I’m gonna make you scream my name.”
I wiggle my bottom as he yanks down his sweats, exposing his hard cock. I just stare at it, licking my lips. He’s the perfect size. Girth plus length, but not so big that I’ll hurt for hours afterward. He’s a tight fit, which means I’m a happy girl.
“Babe, you want a taste of me?”
I do. With a nod, I reach out and grasp his erection. I’ve wanted to know what he tastes like since the second I first saw his dick. I’m not ashamed to admit it.
Hayride thrusts his hips toward me as I pump up and down, slowly gliding my palm over his length. I know the friction is nice, but my mouth and saliva will be way better.
The second I wrap my lips around his crown, he bucks his hips and curses.
“Fuck, Nat.”
“Feel good?” I manage to say with half his length in my mouth.
“It’ll be better when your mouth is too full to speak.”
He pushes himself deep as I try to relax my throat muscles, hoping I won’t gag. I don’t. I think I’m too turned on to worry or focus on it.
Hayride’s hand wraps around the back of my head, and he gently begins to move me, fucking my mouth.
I try to keep up with his thrusts until he stops, pulling out of my mouth with a little pop.
“Nat, I need to be inside you. I’ll come down your throat another time.”
Sounds good to me.
I’m already on my hands and knees again when he moves into position behind me. His fingers dip between my legs, and he murmurs his approval when he finds me slick and ready.
“Always so wet for me.”
I am. It’s like my body knows what will happen. How sated I’ll be.
Hayride enters me in one swift plunge. Both of us moan with the connection. He doesn’t waste time, gripping my ass in both hands as he begins to rock his hips.
It feels so good. I almost laugh when Hayride says the same thing aloud. We’re oddly connected in ways that don’t always make sense, but I’m beginning to see that it’s more than just attraction or lust.
Our movements grow more erratic. Hayride snaps his hips into my ass, again and again. I feel him swell impossibly larger as he grunts.
“Fuck.” His hand slaps my bottom. “Babe, you should see how deep you fucking take me. This pussy is so tight and wet.”
He loves dirty bedroom talk. It’s like foreplay for him. I love hearing how much he enjoys being with me and how good it feels. I want to know that he’s grounded in the moment, focused on me. On us.
“I’m getting close,” I tell him, reaching between my legs to rub my clit. It’s a bit challenging considering he’s slamming into me and then drawing me backward, using his big hands on my hips to set the pace.
When my thighs start to shake, I know I’m going to come hard. I can feel it building inside my core. With every brutal thrust, Hayride drives into me and hits that perfect spot.
I wail as my orgasm crashes over me, crying his name. “Hayden!”
He follows me after only a few more deep strokes. I feel him coming, smoothing his hand over my spine as he bucks his hips, leaving his cock buried deep. A shudder travels through his body and into mine.
“So fucking good, babe,” he murmurs.
We pant as our breath returns to normal.
His body drapes over mine as Hayride kisses my sweaty skin. When he pulls out, I can feel our combined fluids dripping out of me. I roll over, nearly boneless.
I don’t have a single thought in my head.
Hayride tugs me against his body, rolling us to the side before he settles my back against his chest. He holds me to him, staying by my side. He’s a snuggler. I don’t know if that’s a thing for him or if he’s only doing it with me.
I don’t need to know. It’s perfect, and I love it.
When my eyes flutter, I hear his voice in my ear. “My Nat.”
There’s not a single thing in this world I’d love to hear more than those two words right now.
HAYRIDE PULLS TO A stop outside the hospital. He shuts off the engine and stands, pulling me up with him. His lips meet mine in a soft, unhurried kiss.
We spent most of the morning in bed before taking a shower together. Then we grabbed breakfast before heading to Willow Wood Falls. It’s a beautiful morning. The sun is bright, with only a few clouds, and the changing leaves blow in the crisp autumn breeze.
“You sure you don’t need me?” Hayride asks, ticking his chin toward the hospital. “Might be a long day.”
He hasn’t said much, but I know the club has plans to go after Rashell Allen and the men who hurt Thad. It’s club business, and he’s explained that means he’s not free to share the details. I think it’s probably best since I’d only worry.
“Well, I’m with my brother. I’ll be fine.”
“There’s a prospect outside watching the outside of the hospital.” He gestures to the guy on the motorcycle on the edge of the lot, who waves. “And then Mayhem is inside. He’ll be outside the room if you need anything.”
“I think we’re covered.” I smile, brushing his long hair back. The shoulder-length strands look good on him. With the dark stubble on his jaw and those kissable lips, he really is a beautiful man.
“You think I’m fucking sexy, don’t you?”
Oh, the arrogance. “So cocky.”
“You love it. The cockiness and my cock.”
“No point in denying it.”
His lips widen further if that’s possible. “I’m gonna fuck you good later, Fireball.”
“Don’t leave me aching all day long. That’s not fair.”
He tugs me closer, and I can already feel the growing bulge between his legs. “I don’t think there’s a second in the day that you don’t turn me on.”
“Good to know.” I lift my chin. “I’m irresistible.”
There’s a deep rumble in his chest as he agrees. “Damn straight.”
His mouth crashes into mine, and I’m reeling from the kiss as we separate. Hayride slaps my ass and sends me on my way. I walk inside and turn at the last second, placing my hand over my heart. It conveys so much more than I can put into words.
Hayride’s palm rests over his heart in response.
It’s become our thing. A way to express what we’re becoming to one another.
He glides away from the curb and leaves as I approach the elevator and ride it up to Thad’s floor. Nurses wave at me as I walk toward his room. I’ve gotten to know many of them since my brother was admitted. The staff here is friendly, and they’re taking wonderful care of him.
Mayhem greets me as I reach Thad’s room. “Mornin’. It’s quiet in there. I think he’s asleep.”
“Probably. I’ll check.”
Sure enough, as I enter, I see Thad sleeping. My dad is back from his short visit to Columbus. He’s been driving back and forth every day, sometimes bringing Mom with him. She’s been a hovering mess on the days she’s here, and he’s convinced her that she doesn’t need to be here all the time.
It’s best. We all love Mom, but she’s always been anxious and awful when someone is sick or injured. Dad usually handles things and is able to keep her calm. I’m glad it’s just him today. It’s less stressful that way.
Dad is also resting. His light snore matches Thad’s.
I leave the room and close the door softly behind me. “He’s sleeping. I think I’m going to get some coffee. Want any?”
Mayhem shakes his head. “I drink any more, and I’ll be jittery and ready to leap outta my skin.”
I snicker. “Noted. I’ll be back in a few minutes. Might just relax in the family waiting room for a bit and read.”
It’s been weeks since I’ve had time to crack open a book. It’s my go-to when I need a little time to myself. Even as a girl, I sought out books more than parties or friends. When I found a book club in high school, I finally clicked with girls my age.
To this day, we remain in contact and meet once a month to catch up. I have so much to tell them.
“I’ll be out here if ya need me.”
“Thanks.”
I take a detour on the way to get coffee and stop in the nearest restroom. After I leave, I walk past Mayhem and then the stairwell. I never noticed the door was slightly ajar until I was right on top of it.
It’s funny how things can go from normal to horrifying in only seconds. How fast your world can change in an instant.
When the door flings wide, and someone reaches out, hauling me into the stairwell, I don’t have time to react or scream. A hand slaps over my mouth, and something sharp presses into my side.
“Make a sound or fight me, and I’ll make sure you’re the sibling who dies this time.”
I freeze. With a nod, I listen, knowing my life depends on my cooperation.
The man, a confirmed killer, drags me away from the door.
That’s when I notice a woman standing there. She peeks out and keeps the door cracked. She laughs and shuts the door with a soft click. “That biker bastard didn’t see shit. He doesn’t know we’ve got the girl.”
Any hope I have of Mayhem coming to my rescue is obliterated with her words. I’m roughly hauled down the stairs and feel the sharp object poke me a few times. It stings. I know I’ve been nicked by a knife when I see a red splotch of blood leaking into the right side of my shirt.
At the very bottom, there’s a door. I hope it leads to the interior of the hospital. It doesn’t.
As it swings open, I see a truck idling right across from us. It blocks the parking lot, so the prospect out there will never notice as I’m dragged toward it and shoved inside. The guy keeps his meaty hand on my head, forcing me to crouch.
As we drive away from the hospital, I try not to panic.
The woman smashes a rag against my nose and mouth. It’s foul and burns. I choke on it before I feel everything go fuzzy around me. I can’t stay conscious even as I try to fight it.
I don’t know what will happen when I open my eyes.
My mind is foggy as someone slaps my face. Twice. The pain of it has me blinking and opening my eyes, fighting through the thick sludge in my brain to finally clear my vision.
I’m in a field. I can’t see anything for miles but rows and rows of tall, thick corn stalks. There’s a wide circle cut around me where the ground is flat, and huge hay bales squat on the flattened grass and soil.
It takes a minute to register that the woman and man who took me are speaking. He calls her Rashell, but I can’t focus enough to hear what they’re saying.
Horror creeps into my brain when I realize I’m not on the ground. I’m much higher up, tethered by thick pieces of rope on a wooden stake. My arms are stretched painfully wide, my wrists lashed to the arms of the cross-like shape. My feet rest on a single plank.
Across from me, I see glowing red eyes.
The odd but fascinating part? They’re moving closer at an inhuman speed. And in the dusk light of twilight, I can see the corn stalks in the distance waving and smacking into one another. A bellow of rage has the hairs on my arms and the back of my neck prickling with awareness.
Something is coming, and it’s furious.
