Chapter 4 Blair

Blair
The cool water on my wrists does nothing to put out the fire burning inside me.
I thought Brant Manning was the only man for me, but after meeting his brother, Charlie, and seeing his other brother, Remy, something inside me shattered.
Like a sexual dam broke, making me crave all three guys at the same time.
Turning off the water, I glance at my flushed face in the mirror as I dry my hands. Is this really what you want? If Brant Manning asks you to have sex with him and his two brothers, are you truly going to go through with it?
Yes.
The answer pops into my head before I even have a chance to think about it.
This is crazy. I chant to myself as I weave through the crowd to the bar.
Maybe a stiff shot of whiskey will help calm my nerves.
Two hours ago, I was joking with my sister about being with more than one guy at a time, and now it’s within my reach.
I chew on the lipstick on my bottom lip, picturing being taken by Brant and his two brothers.
What am I thinking? I haven’t even seen Charlie or Remy without their masks. Not that it matters, since this strange, invisible pulse thumps through my body whenever I think about being with all three of them.
Lost in thought, I accidentally bump into a group of people while rushing to the bar.
“Blair, are you having a good time?” Strong arms catch me from falling on my ass during the collision.
Great, I’ve run into the owners of the Iowa Poseidon hockey team—Daylen, Raiden, and Kepler—also known as my three bosses, and their shared girlfriend and team goalie, Lenni.
“I’m fine, thanks.” I regain my balance and straighten my dress as Daylen drops his hands from my arms.
“Good to hear. Especially with the team tied for first place in the division, we need you at the top of your game with the social media posts.” Kepler says, twisting a lock of Lenni’s hair around his finger.
Lenni. Exactly who I need to talk to. “Right, sir,” I say absentmindedly. “I need to speak with Lenni for a minute.”
“Sure, as long as it doesn’t take too long, we were just on our way home so she could get some rest before tomorrow’s big game,” Raiden adds.
Seeing the desire shining in their eyes, I want to call bullshit on the whole 'getting home to rest' line of crap he’s trying to feed me.
“It will only take me a few minutes. I promise.” I say, taking Lenni’s elbow and leading her away from them.
“What can I help you with, Blair?” Lenni says when we are out of earshot.
“It’s kind of personal, so if you don’t want to tell me, you don’t have to, but what’s it like being with three guys at the same time?”
“I’m guessing you’re talking about the commissioner and his two brothers.”
“How did you know? I just found out about his brothers tonight.”
“Same, it was a partial guess.” Lenni shrugs. “Since I already knew you and Brant are into each other.” I gasp loudly enough to get Daylen, Kepler, and Raiden’s attention.
Lowering my voice, I ask, “Is it that obvious?”
“No, not really. I just noticed the same longing in your eyes whenever you saw or someone mentioned Brant’s name, just like I had in my eyes before I gave in to my feelings for Daylen, Kepler, and Raiden.”
“Are you glad you gave in to those feelings?"
She glances at her three boyfriends with a warm smile before answering, “I give thanks every day that they are in my life—even with our rocky beginning.”
“Thanks, Lenni. I'd better let you get back to your guys before they fire me for holding you captive too long.”
With a quick hug, Lenni offers some words of advice: “The leap is worth the fall, even if you crash and burn.” She rushes off toward her boyfriends, each of them having to kiss her as she returns, as if she’s been away from them forever.
What would it be like to have that kind of a relationship?
Soon I’ll have my answer, but first a shot of whiskey.
