Pucked as a Pretend Girlfriend

Lana Farmer is finally on the verge of attending Rice University when her plans fall apart, and her brother offers the only way forward: he will pay her tuition if she lives rent-free with his childhood best friend.

Her new roommate is Ryan Walker, the Houston Lone Stars' top NHL goalie, a man she has wanted since childhood admiration hardened into real attraction.

Ryan lives for hockey and avoids both relationships and publicity, so when team PR pushes him to fake a romance, he blurts out that he is already seeing someone and names Lana.

She agrees to the act for the cameras, yet every touch and every time he calls her his lucky charm makes her wonder whether he is falling too or simply playing the part better than she can.

He knows his best friend's little sister is young, inexperienced, and completely off limits, but once she is in his life and in his bed, he has no intention of letting her go.
