Pucking Broken Omega

Pucking Broken Omega

By Lena Crowe

Prologue

I miss my brothers. Do they even remember me anymore?

I haven’t seen them in two years, and I’m beginning to forget what they look like.

My brothers were thick as thieves, and they were always hanging out with our neighbor.

I never understood why she didn’t like to be home, and my brothers refused to talk about it.

Hollis never complained when I was constantly underfoot, and she treated me like a big sister.

Gorgeous and wild, that was what I always thought she looked like next to my brothers. Sometimes, I wonder if she’ll end up being their omega, because of how close they were. They were in their early twenties when I was taken, and trying to figure out how to be adults.

I’ll never know anything new about them again, but daydreaming is the only thing I have.

Curled up in a cage on a single blanket, I gaze at the small sliver of the world that I can see. There are kids all around me, some have found their designation, others haven’t.

We’ve all been kidnapped or sold by loved ones, and that’s about all we have in common.

The doctor who monitors our health for our owner says severe stress can sometimes cause designations to present earlier. I was taken from my bed when I was fourteen. Caleb had already moved away from home, while Lars was trying to figure out how to both work for Daddy and have his independence.

I occasionally heard things when I wasn’t supposed to, but there are too many holes in my understanding to know what Lars did for Daddy. I wish I’d lost my ignorance a little sooner, because so many things don’t make sense.

The night I was taken was a whirlwind of fear and despair.

One moment I was asleep and the next, I was being told to shut the fuck up or they’d kill everyone in the house.

I believed them, yet still tried to fight.

My brothers taught me how to spar, but these men were so much bigger than me.

They threw me out the window, and someone caught me before running into the woods.

I miss the big oak tree outside of my bedroom, which is stupid because that’s probably what they used to climb up.

I passed out from fear and a little pressure from the man’s hand around my throat. There are so many things I wish I could go back and do differently, but I was fourteen.

What the fuck was I supposed to do?

Outside of this, the memory is a black hole up until I woke up in a cage. Sometimes, I’ll dream about men with black holes for eyes and facial coverings, but I don’t know how much is left from my nightmares and what’s real.

In the end, it doesn’t matter because I’m never getting out of here.

“A.”

I flinch when I hear the letter I’ve been assigned.

There are thirty of us in this room, and the doctor randomly chooses two people to experiment on every few days.

The people he chooses always look sad and broken when they return, but when they do present during the experiment, it strengthens the doctor’s confidence that trauma can bring forward how soon someone presents.

He’s playing with our lives and enjoys it.

I know my name is Alisa Finnegan, but I never say it out loud. There’s a comfort in knowing it only belongs to me for now, and that I don’t have to share it with others.

Here, no one knows who I am outside of Cohen James, the man who is responsible for buying and selling us. I didn’t start out here, there have been two other buyers since I was kidnapped, but I don’t like to think about how much they used to hurt me.

No one cared about my possible designation back then, and now it seems to be all people care about.

There’s no use holding back my fear as I raise my eyes to see Dr. Reach squatting beside my cage.

“I think today will be a good day,” he says with a small smile. All I hear is screams when people go beyond the black doors, and I’m not looking forward to my turn.

I don’t think there’s any good to be had at the hands of this man.

I’ve been here for three weeks. It’s just enough time to begin understanding how things work here, but not enough to experience what others have.

“Come on. It’s better if you crawl out than if I have someone get you.” The heavy clang of a lock opening makes me flinch, and I watch as the cage door opens.

I’m wearing a ratty pair of shorts and a very thin t-shirt. I haven’t left my cage outside of one day so far, and that was for a shower. I have to do my business in a bucket that’s brought to me, and it’s in front of everyone.

I cry every time I have to pee, but I can’t hold it because they’re constantly pushing for me to hydrate. There are consequences for not doing things here, and I’d rather not pay them.

The lessons I’m learning are turning me into a bad person. My mind is constantly trying to find a way to make things work in my favor, and I silently cheer when someone is called up for their turn because it means I’m spared.

Unfortunately, the law of averages has called my number and I have to answer.

Twisting in the small space, I bite back a hiss as my limbs begin to get blood flow they don’t usually receive. There’s no time for me to ease into movement, because Dr. Reach has his hand up, ready to snap for a guard.

I’ve watched three people be dragged from their cages, and they were all newer. The screams were worse after they disappeared, and I promised myself I wouldn’t be one of those people.

I need to survive. No matter what it takes.

Instead of calling for a guard, he holds his hand out to me to help me out, and he smiles proudly at me.

I think I have something broken inside of me.

My father ignored me at best. When a male authority figure is nice to me, it makes me want to continue to do whatever it takes to get that kind of approval.

This can’t be healthy.

Looking around, I notice I’m the only one who is being called, and I widen my eyes as I look up at him.

“It’s just you today,” he grunts, continuing to hold my hand as he leads me through the room.

My heart begins to pound against my rib cage as my feet continue to move with his. I feel as if I’m having an out-of-body experience, and I don’t know how to fix it.

The large doors open as the guards push them, and two of them follow us out. The walls are a gleaming, clean white rather than the dark, dirty ones of the room I’ve been residing in, and the lights hurt my eyes.

“A, your records show you’re not a virgin, is that correct?” the doctor asks.

“Yes,” I whisper, wondering where this is going.

“Hmm.” My fingers spasm with anxiety at that one word, and he mistakes the reaction as he squeezes my hand. “That’s okay. We’re going to go in a different direction for you. Many of those who are here haven’t had an owner previous to this.”

“Is this…bad?” I ask, my voice cracking.

“No.”

He doesn’t say anything else as he opens a door, and I see a chair with various straps. I can’t move backward because a guard pushes me forward, and he and the doctor lift me up, throwing my balance off. It’s as if my brain short circuits and I lose time.

From one blink to another, the thick leather is tightened and fastened around my wrists, arms, and ankles.

“This is going to hurt,” Dr. Reach says, using alcohol wipes to clean areas of my face before attaching stickers to each area. “However, you get to keep your clothes on for this. Isn’t that nice?”

I…I don’t know if it is or not. I know what it feels like to be touched in places I don’t want, but this scares me. My eyes dart to the machine with all kinds of buttons on it. I don’t know what’s happening.

“Breathe, A. Mmhmm. Just like that. Now open and bite down on this.”

I can’t keep myself from obeying. I’ve always been a rule follower, and it’s so hard to stop. The leather he shoves in between my teeth is hard and tastes disgusting. Dr. Reach hums under his breath as he attaches other things to my head before nodding.

“It’s too bad I won’t get to hear the screams,” he sighs, shaking his head as he hits a button.

Am I screaming? It feels like a match has been struck and all of my nerve endings are now on fire. My teeth sink into the leather and my head is thrown back as electricity is pushed into my body.

No. No. Help!

Dr. Reach smirks as he watches me, while the guards look bored. The three of them are careful not to touch me as they watch my body convulse and bounce from the electricity, until the doctor finally glances at his watch and turns off the machine.

Tears drip down my face as I suck in lungfuls of oxygen. Sweat slides into the crack of my ass and across my skin, and I feel as if I just ran several miles.

Dr. Reach gazes at me for a long moment, breathing in deeply before he sighs in disappointment.

“We’re going to need a few more rounds of this, and then I want you to watch some porn.”

Porn? Why?

As if he can see the questions in my eyes, he shrugs.

“I want to see what you react to. My favorite moment is seeing an omega realize her designation as she begins to slick on a cock or while watching really fucked up porn. I also enjoy a female alpha’s lock around my cock, but they’re a little more aggressive as they age.

I can’t wait to see what nature intends for you. ”

A sound of distress escapes from me, and Dr. Reach chuckles.

“Damn. I’m really disappointed I’m not going to get to fuck you. Maybe the boss will let me try you out once we find your designation as a reward. Now, relax and take a breath. I’m turning up the voltage.”

He watches as my eyes widen before fiddling with the machine. “Alpha, omega, or beta. Only time will tell…”

This time, my vision goes white as my world explodes. All there is is pain, and I have a feeling this will continue to be my life until someone ends it.

Knights in white armor don’t exist, and I stopped believing in fairytales the night no one crashed through my bedroom door to save me.
