Chapter 7
CHAPTER
SEVEN
THREE MONTHS LATER
February
ALISA
I’m in hell.
My eyes move toward the closed door where I can hear Dennis, Max, and Jai getting drunk with their friends. They’re playing cards and laughing loudly while I’m gagged and bound to the fucking bed. Being in this position is a common theme for me, but it doesn’t stop my ire and helplessness.
They’ve lied about so many things, it’s not even funny. My heats have always been inconsistent because so many people have fucked with them in my life. They’re happy to take their free leave from the company they work at and pretend I am having more heats than I am.
If there’s a loophole these alphas can use, they absolutely will exploit it.
Jai tells me all about how his mom sends him extra money to treat his new omega, and in return he sends her fake photos of us doing things with it.
The images aren’t of me because I’m always tied to a bed unless it’s to shower or pee.
He uses the money to pay for booze to hang out with his friends or they’ll leave me alone for days until they return to find me starving and laying in my own filth.
Dennis got pissed off at me once, fully believing that I should have held my bladder until they came back. He beat me black and blue and left Jai to release me from my bonds so I could crawl to the bathroom to shower while I cried.
I follow the rise and fall of the sun each day, which is the only reason I knew they left me alone for three days without food or water.
After so many months of being here, there’s no reason to remain strong and not let them see my tears. They’re fucking terrible alphas but pat themselves on the back because they’ve managed to keep me alive all of this time.
This doesn’t keep them from trying to fuck a baby into me or forcing their bites on me. Once or twice, Jai was able to get his bite to take, but I got so sick afterward, I rejected it. I couldn’t stop throwing up, and I think the bites are infected.
There are a couple that won’t heal at all, and Jai says it’s because my body is weakening and I’ll soon belong to them.
They are fucking delusional!
My strangled scream of frustration as I fume is muffled from the gag they shoved into my mouth. They also tied something around my head so I won’t be able to spit it out, despite how much I struggle.
To add insult to injury, the three of them came home once after they took an actual paid vacation without me, only to find I was in full blown heat.
They couldn’t call into work because they had lied about my heat too recently.
They fucked me through the night and then left me tied to the bed to suffer since they had to go to their nine-to-five job.
I have never burned with so much hate and desire before, and I prayed for death the entire time.
I begged for them to stay, while they shrugged off my cries and left me alone.
They only gag me when they have friends over, because they meant it when they said no one would hear me scream.
When I look out the window during the day, all I can see for miles is greenery and sky.
There don’t seem to be neighbors at all.
The house is a one story ranch house, though I’m not sure how large it is since I only ever go from the bedroom to the bathroom and back.
These bastards feed me when they remember, and it’s usually scraps from their own plates.
Over the last couple of weeks, I’m finding I can’t seem to keep anything down, and I think there’s something wrong with me.
Several days ago, Jai got a secret smile on his lips and he asked me if I thought I was pregnant.
I threw up in response out of disgust, and he cleaned me up with wet wipes and even changed the sheets without getting pissed off. The three of them are celebrating how they managed to knock me up, and I have no way of verifying it.
I’m so fucking scared they’re right. My body is changing in ways that tell me there’s no way a baby will survive inside of me if they’re right. My body is frail and weak from lack of food, and one day, they’re going to come home to find my dead body.
I hope it’s sooner rather than later. I’m tired of this reality. There’s no kindness for me here, unless it’s in death. I’m only fighting at this point because there’s an angry fire inside of me that doesn’t want to give in.
However, at some point, all fires die out and so will I.
Sucking in another breath, I scream at the top of my lungs again. I have no idea what the men holding me captive have told their friends, but they can’t just let this happen, right? The gag stuffed in my mouth tastes disgusting and foul as it muffles my cries, and my chest heaves with exertion.
I’m wearing a pair of panties and a thin t-shirt, which is what they allow me to wear when they’re in a good mood. Jai mentioned it was Friday night and they’re going to be playing poker all weekend. Three days where they plan to ignore me completely.
Fucking wonderful. I’ll be lucky if any of them remember to let me use the bathroom to relieve myself, but I doubt that. They’ve already been playing for hours, and their laughter is loud and boisterous as they talk.
Maybe if I’m really lucky, Jai will come in and strangle me to death.
Dreams of alphas murdering me play a predominant role in my life.
Max could stab me to death with his knives, or Dennis could beat me with his fists.
I’ve also dreamed of dying from an infection from these bites littering my body.
My least favorite? Dying of starvation. My stomach is constantly clawing with hunger, and I can feel myself wasting away.
However it happens, I want it to be soon. If I can’t get out of here, I will gladly take death.
My mind feels funny as I force myself to scream again, and the doorknob turns easily. Dennis was told to lock it and must not have after he tied me up when they let me use the toilet. I haven’t been allowed to properly wash in days, and my hair is tangled and matted.
With wide eyes, I watch as someone stumbles into the room just as loud music gets turned up.
“What…the fuck?” he whispers.
I kick and struggle weakly to attempt to tell him I need help and he looks over his shoulder as I shake my head futilely.
“Are you the girlfriend?” he asks softly, facing me again.
I’m not sure what the guys tell their friends when they never see me. I’m an omega so it could be a variety of things, but this guy clearly didn’t expect to find me tied to the bed.
“I was just looking for the bathroom,” he mumbles to himself. Yeah, that’s across the hallway from here, asshole. I continue to struggle and he rubs his face tiredly. “They said you were visiting your mom’s house and that’s why we wouldn’t get to meet you. Something about not liking the noise…”
Ugh. He’s clearly trying to process what he’s seeing, and the last thing I need for him to decide he’s hallucinating or some shit.
“This isn’t a kink thing, right?” he finally asks.
I shake my hair from side to side, my tangled hair flying before he finally sighs heavily and steps further into the room. He closes the door silently, and walks toward me as if he’s approaching a wild animal.
“I should have known these crazy assholes would do something like this.” The man pulls out a pocket knife and I suck in a lungful of air, wondering if I miscalculated.
“Please don’t kick me when I cut you loose.
I’m going to try to get you out of here, okay?
They just started snorting coke so they’ll probably forget about me for a little while. ”
There are times when Dennis and Jai will pour out white powder and snort it before they fuck me.
It makes them harder for longer periods of time, but they’re also really fucking mean while they’re high.
Max will tell them he doesn’t want to snort it with them because someone has to make sure they don’t kill me.
Hopefully, Max is higher than a kite right now and I’m strong enough to get the fuck out of here. This guy cutting me loose is clearly their friend, and his helpfulness is only going to extend so far. As soon as my ropes are cut, I sit up and remove the gag from my mouth.
Dennis always ties me the tightest, and my limbs feel numb as the pins and needles begin. It hurts so much that it makes my eyesight swim from the strain.
My heart is beating rapidly with fear and anticipation as I move to the edge of the mattress until my feet hit the floor. While I rub the circulation back into my arms and legs, the guy steps back quickly and walks to the dresser to pull out a pair of sweatpants, a belt, and a long sleeved shirt.
“You’ll have to roll the waistband up on this,” he mutters, trying not to let his eyes linger on my skin. I know I’m a mess of half healing bites and I’m definitely going to weave on my feet once I stand up. “The belt is in case you need to cinch the pants tighter.”
Forcing myself onto my feet, I ignore the black sparkles in the corners of my eyes as I take the clothing gratefully.
“Thank you,” I whisper. My voice is rough as I pull on the clothing, and he stares at my feet before looking in the closet.
“Are these…yours?” he asks, showing me my sneakers. I begin to cry as I nod eagerly, and I pull them on. I have to roll up the waistband and legs of the pants, but I don’t fucking care.
Even if I die in the darkness outside, it’ll be better than dying in this cesspit of despair.
I begin walking toward the door and he shakes his head quickly.
“Wait. Please. There’s only one door in and out and that’s the front door. I’ll help you out the window, okay?”
I nod, stepping back. I have to trust him in this because I’ve never seen the layout of the house in all of the time I’ve been here.
He walks quickly over to the window and unlocks it before trying to shove it open.
The wood is warped and he has to fight to get it up, but I touch his arm tentatively when the window begins to squeal.
It’s halfway up, I think I can squeeze out.
I don’t want to call attention to ourselves if the music isn’t loud enough to drown the noise of the window out.
The guy glances at me as I swing my legs through, and he holds his hands out as if to help me.
He’s done more than anyone else has while I’ve been trapped here, I don’t want to push my luck or sully him with my touch. Instead, I manage to get out myself and then I’m running away from where the music is coming from.
I refuse to look behind me, my legs moving as fast as they can even as my muscles tremble. There’s nothing on this road but land. A part of me just wants to crawl into the grass and fall asleep forever, but the cool breeze on my face forces me to keep going.
I’m fucking free, I want to enjoy it before I die, even if it’s just for a few minutes. I have no food, I’m dehydrated, and I have no way to get anything I need. Things aren’t looking great for me, and the chances of a miracle being granted are slim to none.
Taking a blind turn at the fork in the road, I run toward the first warehouse I see after running for so long, I fall on my face twice. I’m bleeding in several places, and I need a break.
The sky is lightening and the stars are moving as I slow to a walk. I don’t know how much time has passed since I left the house of nightmares, but it’s been enough that I know I can’t run anymore.
I stumble several times as I try different doors, only to find they’re locked, and I get frustrated until I see a pile of bricks toward the back of the building.
Picking one up, I mumble an apology as I search for a window I can climb inside of.
The breaking glass is loud as I step inside, and I look around for a place to hide.
I just need to rest and not be bothered.
My stomach cramps with hunger and I rub it absently as I walk.
My body shudders in pain even as I hold myself up on a wall, and I force my feet to continue moving.
A sharp pain inside of me bowls me over, and it feels as if I’m being torn from the inside out.
“What?” I gasp. “Ow. Fuck.”
I can feel blood trickling down my leg even as my knees buckle until I hit the concrete floor. I vaguely wonder if Jai is right and if the universe is punishing me because I ran from my baby’s fathers.
“I couldn’t…I’m sorry,” I whimper, falling to my side as I curl into a ball. My body cramps in a way it never has during my heat, and tears fall not only for myself, but the baby I’m killing as well.
I’m not strong enough to live for both myself and the child my body is rejecting. There’s nothing inside of me to nourish or protect another little person, and I cry bitter tears as I begin to scream.
I’ve felt pain before, it’s something I’m used to. It’s the only thing I can call a friend, because it’s always hovering close by to kick me in the teeth.
My teeth chatter as I lay on the cold ground, my eyes rolling back as I try to keep my body from coming apart.
I’m sorry, I’m sorry.
I wish the world was softer and I wasn’t this weak. I wish I hadn’t caught Jai, Max, and Dennis’ gaze while I was walking that day. I wish…for so much.
Wishes don’t make things different than they are, and I can feel myself hemorrhaging too much blood.
Everything is so dark inside of the warehouse. It would almost be peaceful if I wasn’t in so much pain. Consciousness plagues me as pain tears at my body.
I deserve this.
I’ve been so fucking awful over the years to others, there won’t be anything to save me from this. An aneurysm is too good for me, and so is my heart stopping.
Instead, I writhe and cry as I bleed onto the concrete, desperately wishing I wasn’t killing another human even as the devil takes its time killing me too.
