Chapter Twenty-One

Molly

We fell asleep on my bed after we cleaned everything up and enjoyed a few snacks. The three of us barely fit, but we made it work somehow, and I slept a hard, dreamless sleep.

Last night had satisfied me so completely and so thoroughly, but I didn’t wake up satisfied.

I woke up to a lot of limbs draped over me and one very persistent body part digging into my thigh that had me wishing these two would wake up.

The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a muted glow over Preston and Emmett. My heart thundered and my stomach fluttered as they both stirred.

While they were still asleep, I shamelessly stared at their angelic, sleeping faces. They had fallen asleep on either side of me, but had reached for each other in the middle of the night. Preston’s arm was draped over me, clutching Emmett’s wrist.

I had suspicions, but I would keep them to myself until he trusted me enough to tell me how he felt about his friend.

Preston woke up first, stretching his arms high to the ceiling before he was fully aware of where his hand had been. Or maybe he did it fast, trying to hide it from me.

“Good morning,” I whispered.

“Morning,” Emmett mumbled, rolling to face me. He lifted his leg off mine and gave me a shy smile. “Sorry about that.”

“Don’t apologize.” I ran my fingers through his chest hair. “It’s kind of nice being squished between two hockey players.”

“You felt good in my arms,” he admitted.

I wanted to ask him if perhaps he would consider making this a permanent arrangement. While I wasn’t convinced love was real, lust definitely was, and I was hungry, aching for more with them.

That question was a little too hard for seven in the morning, though, so I wandered through safer territory.

I laced my fingers with Preston’s, and he kissed my shoulder. “You said something about next time and I was curious—” I bit the corner of my mouth, my pulse racing so rapidly I was thankful I was already laying down.

“Can next time be right now?” Preston asked for me.

“Exactly.” I sighed, relieved that we were on the same wavelength.

I looked at Emmett for his response, gasping as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me on top of him.

I dropped my legs to either side, straddling him so I was resting on his belly.

He flexed his abs, relaxed, then flexed, and repeated, and I moaned, my head falling forward, shocked he could rub my clit by flexing his muscles.

“I need to pee,” I blurted, covering my mouth when I remembered Preston hated morning breath.

It was a lame excuse, but it got me out of the room with no questions.

Scrubbing my teeth as fast as I could and swishing with mouthwash, I freshened up and fixed my hair. The last few days were a whirlwind, and I looked like I’d been through it.

Preston was just walking back into my room, and he held up a few condoms with the softest, shyest smile I’d ever seen on his face. “In case things go farther than last night.”

“Oh, good thinking.” My pulse jumped, and my core heated.

“I know.” He put his arm around me and sauntered to the bed.

I sank onto the mattress, snuggling up to Emmett, who was still nice and warm from staying under the blankets. He kissed my cheek, and I hesitated.

“What’s on your mind?” he asked.

I realized I had been frowning as I tried to work through something that was bothering me. “Why’d you kiss me the first time?”

“Because I wanted to.” Emmett rolled to his side, propping on one elbow. His face crinkled in confusion, and he tilted his head. “Why do you ask?”

“You said a first kiss should be something special and romantic, and definitely not on our first dates. But when it happened, I was in tears over my book and a total mess.”

His frown deepened. “I thought it was romantic?”

“It was. It just wasn’t anything fancy—”

“A first kiss doesn’t need to be fancy; it only needs to be done for the right reason. Kissing because we were on a date, or simply because you needed to experience a kiss for your manuscript—neither of those seemed like the right reason.”

“And what was the right reason? Waiting until I looked like a slob?”

“You didn’t look like a slob. You looked adorable, just like you do right now.” He sucked in a deep breath and traced his fingers over my lips. “It had nothing to do with where we were or what we were doing. I couldn’t stand to go another second without feeling your lips against mine.”

“You couldn’t?” I was whispering, the blanket close to my chin as I basked in his honesty. He wanted to kiss me.

“I really couldn’t. The exact right moment isn’t always definable. It’s just this feeling that it’s the next step. And in your room, when you were looking at me for answers, I knew it was right.”

“Or that not doing it becomes so fucking unbearable that you have to do it, or you’ll die,” Preston added theatrically, rolling onto his side next to me.

Emmett shoved him and laughed. “That’s a dramatic way of looking at it.”

“He’s not wrong, though.” My lips were too bare as Emmett pulled his hand away. “I wanted to kiss both of you when we were making pizza. I almost did.”

“You should have, Molls,” Preston said, kissing me, as if proving how easy it was.

“I couldn’t,” I whispered. “It seemed so scary.”

“It’s not scary now. I mean, now I’ve been inside you,” Preston teased, running his fingers over my belly, but the playfulness was replaced by a husky moan as I slid my hand down his chest, sweeping my fingers over his abs, inhaling sharply when I swept over the small patch of hair right below his belly button.

“You have, haven’t you?” I was feeling bold, loving that he was so reactive to my touch. Loving that what he said was true. My body knew what his finger felt like inside me. And pretty soon, I’d know what having sex with him felt like, too.

He tilted his hips, driving my hand exactly where he wanted it. I wanted it there, too. I gripped the length of him, firm and hot in the early morning haze of my room. I inhaled with a sharp moan as Emmett trailed his fingers across my thigh, stopping between my legs and pressing firmly.

“Oh, Emmett,” I moaned, grinding against his fingers. “That’s so good.”

With Preston’s cock in my hand and Emmett teasing my clit, I was dizzy with pleasure.

“I need you inside me,” I whispered. “Both of you.”

“Let’s take it slow,” Preston murmured against my shoulder as he rolled my nipple between his fingers. “I want to make sure you’re warmed up and ready for us.”

“Oh, that’s so good,” I moaned. “And it’s way too slow. My body is so warmed up. A literal fireplace. I need you.”

“Are you sure—”

“Don’t make me beg,” I pleaded.

“It’s us who should be begging,” Emmett said softly.

I angled my hips, sliding his fingers to my entrance. “Please?”

He pressed two fingers inside and I cried out, sighing as my body adjusted to him. He gave me pressure, alleviating all the places screaming for relief.

Preston grew thicker in my hand as Emmett stroked me. I ran my fingers along his length, loving the way he hissed my name under his breath.

“Grab the freaking condoms, Ledger.” I gritted my teeth as Emmett’s thumb pressed against my clit while his fingers curved inside me.

“Emmett,” I whispered.

“I know, Rookie. I’ve got you.” His strangled, rough voice sent me over the edge.

I dug my fingers into his arm, riding the waves of my orgasm as he kept his eyes locked on me. I felt so seen. So vulnerable. And so safe I could cry.

Emmett kissed me, his tongue scorching hot against my mouth as his hands wound around me, holding me until I almost cried. “I’ve got you,” he repeated.

I buried my face in his armpit when a few tears snuck past my gates. I wasn’t sure why it made me so emotional, but neither of them found it weird, and Emmett stroked my hair, holding me tight against him.

“You’re so beautiful,” Preston murmured, cradling my face in his hands before kissing me so deeply I wasn’t sure why I ever wanted to cry.

My body was alive. Ready to go again. All I wanted was him inside me. I reached down, wrapping my fingers around his cock. He groaned and laced his fingers in my hair.

“Molly,” he breathed.

“Please?” I looked up at him, hoping he wouldn’t make me wait a second longer.

He nodded, his eyes dark as he handed a condom to Emmett, pausing before letting it go. “I want to be her first,” he said, the revelation sending enough heat between my legs I thought I’d come again.

“You do?” I whispered.

He bent down, his knees folding as he straddled me on the bed. “Yes, Molls. It’s all I want. From the second you trusted me to be your first kiss, it’s all I could think about.”

“But Emmett was my first kiss,” I said, confused.

"Exactly." Preston grinned and nipped my bottom lip. “That’s why I’m fucking you first.”

I almost chastised him for being so blunt, but laying beneath him while we were naked was a weird time to care about how outrageous his words were.

He rolled, taking me with him as I laughed and held on, panting when he swapped spots. Me on top. Him below me.

With long, slow strokes, he lubed me up and slipped the condom on. “I know you’re impatient to get this going, but take it slow, okay?”

“No,” I said, crossing my arms as Preston’s eyes dropped hungrily to my breasts.

“Preston’s right,” Emmett said, his warm hands cupping my ass as he settled on the bed behind me. “He’s bigger than your toys, but if you go slow, it should be okay.”

“Your fingers warmed me up nicely,” I said, feeling a little bratty that they would have the audacity to tell me to take it slow.

Emmett’s hand popped my ass, and his breath was hot on my neck. I shivered as he said, “You’re going to be patient, Rookie. I know you want our cocks and you’re going to get them, but not if you hurt yourself.”

“Yessir,” I said, trying to sound irritated, but with the blood flowing between my legs and my skin tingling from his smack, I couldn’t hide how turned on I was.

Preston grinned at Emmett. “She definitely liked that.”
