Chapter 14 #3

“No, thank you,” I tell her. “Thanks for this, by the way.”

“Hey, it’s what I’m being paid for.” She laughs.

“Hope you like hockey then.” I laugh.

“It’s okay. The guys are hot, so that's a plus.”

“Couldn’t agree more.”

The game ends, and the Scented Scorpions lose. My heart goes out to them as the other team celebrates, and my guy’s shoulders are slumped in defeat.

Still, they played one hell of a game. They were so close, tied right before the last few seconds.

“Let’s go meet them outside the locker room before the crowd gets crazy.”

Nodding, I take one last look at my guys, then follow Milly.

When we get to the locker room exit, I find that there are other people waiting. Mostly women in jerseys. A wave of jealousy hits me. Puck Bunnies.

When players start making their way out and toward the locker room, the girls cheer, calling out names.

When Carson and Reid appear, my heart starts to race. Their hair is wet with sweat, and god, they look so damn hot.

I guess I’m not the only one who thinks so, because some of the girls start calling their names, trying to get their attention.

The guys ignore them, looking for me. When they see me, their smiles widen, and my heart flutters.

Rushing over to me, I throw myself at them. “You did amazing!” I tell them, not caring that they stink of sweat.

“Thanks, baby. Sucks we lost, but we’ll get them next time,” Reid says, pressing a kiss on my cheek.

“Damn right you will,” I tell them.

“We’re going to get showered, then changed. Want to go grab something to eat? I’m starving.”

“Yeah.” I nod.

Carson kisses me quickly, and the two of them head into the locker room.

I stand and wait with Milly, feeling the eyes of the puck bunnies on me.

I give them my best cheery smile before looking away. Be pissed off all you want, they’re mine. I have the bite marks on my neck to prove it.

From the whispers that kick up around me, they see them too.

We haven’t talked about going public, but I’m going to guess that it won’t belong before people start talking.

Shortly after, the guys come back out, fully changed with their gear bags in hand.

“We have a car waiting for us out back. We’ll go back to the hotel room and drop these off, then we’ll hit up a restaurant. Any preferences?” Reid asks.

“Nope. I love most foods.”

We thank Milly, dismissing her from her post for the night, and leave for the hotel.

Once we drop everything off, the guys take me to an amazing restaurant. I’m sure it has to cost a lot to eat there, but the menu doesn't have the prices, so I’m not sure.

“Order whatever you like,” Carson says.

“Don’t look at us like that.” Reid chuckles. “You’re our Omega. We’re going to spoil you when we go out. It’s a date, we pay. Don’t even think of money.”

“If you’re sure,” I say warily.

“We’re sure.” Carson nods.

I order the lobster, and god it tastes amazing. I moan more than once, getting soft growls from my Alphas. I can’t help it! The flavor is amazing, and it melts on my tongue.

When we’re done, I’m stuffed, but happy.

“That was amazing.” I sigh happily.

“Want dessert?” Reid asks.

“I do, but I don’t think I could eat anymore.” I laugh.

The guys opt out on dessert as well, paying the check before we leave.

“Wanna go see a show or something?” Carson asks.

“I’m kind of sleepy.” I yawn. It’s around ten now. I could use some sleep, but I also want to stay up and enjoy every moment I have with them.

“How about we hang out and watch a movie in the hotel room?” Reid suggests.

“Sounds perfect.”

Back in the room, we spend the rest of the night cuddling together, watching a movie. That is, until we all stop paying attention. We’re quickly naked and tangled together in a sweaty heap of limbs, slick and cum.

With the TV on as background noise, we lay there together enjoying the closeness. Carson’s hands lazily trail up my back, while Reid rubs my hip.

I don’t want to ruin the night by talking about the other guys, so I let myself fall asleep surrounded by their warmth and comforting scents.

“Addie, Sweet Girl, are you okay?" Reid asks.

“Huh?” I realized I’d zoned out when I hear Reid’s voice.

“You seem distracted.” He frowns. “Is something wrong?”

We’re having brunch before we have to leave for the airport. I’ve been putting off this conversation to avoid ruining the moment, but either we have it now, or I’ll have to tell them over the phone. A phone call feels like I’d be taking the coward's way out.

If we’re going to start this new relationship, it should be with open honesty.

“I’m not sure yet.” I shift in my seat, eyes flicking between the two of them.

“Okay...” Carson asks slowly.

“So, you know the guys I’ve been playing with online for years now? They are friends of mine.”

“Yeah.” Reid nods.

“Well, you see.” I take a deep breath, pushing down the nausea from my nerves.

“I kind of, sort of, have feelings for them. As more than friends. I’ve never told them, though, because I didn’t want to mess with our friendship.

Things being online makes it complicated.

But yesterday, one of the guys confessed he has feelings for me as well, and it’s weighing on me.

I don’t want to turn him down, but I also don’t want to give him hope if it’s something that would upset or bother you. ”

They both stare at me for a moment, blinking, before looking at each other.

Reid takes a breath and closes his eyes for a moment before looking back at me.

“Are you asking if we’re okay with adding three more men to our pack?” Reid asks.

“Kind of?” I think I’m going to puke. “But also no. I don’t know. You know what? Never mind. It was stupid of me to say anything. Of course it’s silly. I’ll message him back and tell him I have Alphas already and that I’m sorry–”

“Addie, Addie. Sweet Girl, breathe.” Reid reaches over and grips my chin.

Tears sting the back of my eyes as I start to cry. “I’m sorry,” my voice cracks.

“You have nothing to be sorry about, baby.” His voice is low.

He shifts closer and then pulls me into his lap.

“You had a whole life before us. We don’t expect everything to change just because you’re with us now.

If you want the chance to explore feelings with these guys, I think that’s something we could talk about. ”

“Really?” I blink up at him, unsure if I’m hearing him right. “You’re not mad?”

“If they were trying to steal you from us, then yes.” Carson chuckles.

“They could never. It might not be anything. I’ve never met them before, and I don’t even know their real names. I don’t even know if the other two like me. It was only Death who confessed.”

“Death?” Carson asks.

“Yeah, sorry, that’s his nickname. It’s part of his gamer tag.

Like I said, I don’t even know his real name.

He could be an old man living in his mother’s basement for all I know.

” I laugh awkwardly. Now that I think of it, I probably should have at least video chatted with these guys before bringing it up.

” I sigh heavily. “I’m sorry for making a big deal over this. It’s just been bugging me for a while.”

“Let’s talk a bit more about this later, okay? Give us a few days to process it. Would that be okay?”

“Yeah, of course." I nod. “Take your time.”

Reid wraps his arms around me, kissing the top of my head.

I smile against his chest, glad to have brought it up.

I’m not sure what's going to happen now, but I feel better knowing I’m not keeping something from my Alphas.

I’m not ashamed of my friendship with the guys, they’re an important part of my life.

If I could have a pack with all of the men I care about, that would be the dream.

If it’s meant to be, it will happen. That's what I’m going to keep telling myself.
