Chapter 32 #2

I turned to survey one of my most treasured places.

I’d seen more landscapes than I could count, but nothing hit me like the west coast of my private island.

Sheer cliffs dropped into the Pacific, their ridges knifing down into hidden beaches below.

Waterfalls tore down the rock face in white torrents, vanishing into sea caves before bursting free again, their roar swallowed by the pounding surf.

It was fierce, untamed, shaped by storm and time into something savage and breath-taking.

But when I turned back to Cordelia, she’d slipped off her garment and stood in nothing but a bikini.

Even that wild beauty of this coastline was nothing compared to her.

She was rawer, sharper—fire to the sea, and gods help me, I wanted her more than I’d ever wanted the ocean itself.

I stepped closer, my voice rough, scraped raw by need. ‘Undress for me, Little Red.’

Her smirk softened, but the spark of wilfulness lingered in her eyes, her breath catching.

We stood in the shadow of the cliffs, the crash of the Pacific behind us, the air charged like the moment before a cloudburst breaks.

Slowly, she hooked her thumbs beneath the thin straps of her bikini top, sliding it up and over her head.

The scrap of fabric fell to the sand, baring her to me, her nipples peaked from the chill breeze—or maybe from the way my gaze devoured her.

‘Fates,’ I groaned, the sound torn straight from my chest.

Her hands lingered at the ties of her bikini bottoms, teasing, testing me, her eyes never leaving mine. My restraint frayed to nothing.

‘Now,’ I ordered, the single word snapping like a wave against rock.

Her lips parted, a flush climbing her throat, but she obeyed—fingers tugging at the knots until the fabric slid down her hips. She kicked the bikini aside, standing bared and brazen before me, fire in her eyes, ocean wind in her hair.

She was everything I’d ever wanted—wild, fearless… mine.

I reached for her, hauling her against me, my mouth crashing to hers with a hunger I couldn’t hold back any longer, but then I slowed, forcing myself to pull back, to taste her instead of devouring her. My lips brushed hers once, twice, soft and lingering, until she melted against me.

‘Beautiful,’ I murmured against her mouth, the word almost reverent. My hands framed her waist, sliding up the curves of her ribs, the swell of her breasts. My thumbs grazed over her nipples, drawing a shuddering breath from her lips.

I dropped to my knees in the sand, the ocean’s spray cool on my back, her warmth burning before me. My palms traced down her thighs, slow and deliberate, before I pressed kisses along her hip, her stomach, each one a vow.

‘You’re mine, Cordelia,’ I whispered, voice low and raw, lips grazing her skin. ‘Every inch of you.’

She trembled, her fingers threading into my hair, tugging when my mouth reached the inside of her thigh. I lingered there, nipping lightly, savouring the sound of her sharp inhale, before I looked up at her—her chest rising and falling, eyes dark and hungry, fire and challenge written all over her.

Fates, she was magnificent.

And I would worship her slowly, with lips and tongue and touch, until she was begging for the maelstrom I was holding back.

I pressed a kiss just above the curve of her thigh, then another lower, teasing, until she gasped my name, her fingers tightening in my hair, urging me where she needed me most. But I took my time.

My tongue traced the sensitive skin of her inner thigh, savouring the salt of her, the way her muscles quivered under my touch.

‘Poseidon,’ she breathed, a tremor in her voice.

That sound undid me. With a low growl, I pressed my mouth to her heat, my tongue parting her folds, slow at first—deliberate strokes that had her hips jerking, her breath breaking into ragged moans.

‘Gods, you taste like mine,’ I groaned against her, the words lost in the slick heat of her.

Her hand fisted tighter as I licked deeper, finding her clit with the flat of my tongue before circling it, relentless, until she cried out. I sucked lightly, then harder, drinking in every sound she made, every arch of her body against my mouth.

She was wild above me, tugging at my hair, grinding against my tongue, lost in the maelstrom I was building for her. I slid a finger inside her, then another, curling just right, and she shattered—moaning my name, trembling as her release broke over her like a crashing wave.

I didn’t stop. I kept licking, sucking, drawing out her orgasm until she sagged against me, thighs trembling, gasping for air.

Only then did I rise, my mouth slick with her, my cock aching, ready to claim her in full.

But not yet. Not until she looked into my eyes and saw everything—my hunger, my worship, my need for her above all else.
