DEJA MCCOY

“Who the fuck is this bitch, Kilo?” I spat, sitting on top of the king-sized bed, turning the phone that I had in my hands in his direction, so that he could see what was on the screen.

I was playing a character right now in his music video, but when the part was described to me, and when I knew the role that I would have to play, I knew that it would be easy for me to jump into this.

Shit, I just had to play myself. This was the same, toxic, ghetto ass shit that I was constantly dealing with when it came to Hitta.

“Damn bruh. A nigga just walked in this bitch, and before I can even take a seat, you jumping down my throat, questioning me about another bitch. Can I get a motha fuckin hug? A kiss or something? Every time I walk in the crib, I’m fighting with you,” Kilo spat back at me, fully in character himself.

The fact that we were both easily able to play our roles, without having any prior experience in acting, let me know that we were both out here living this kind of life.

We were in Atlanta. Kilo and his team rented out this nice ass Airbnb.

This was the kind of house that I would dream about at night.

I liked to dream about fairytales, where I’m living in the kind of house that was big enough to fit my husband, and all our children.

It’s crazy because I have those kind of fairytale dreams at least three times out of the week, and the home that we were in kind of resembled the way it would look in those dreams. Only difference is that the home would be in Miami.

You couldn’t take a bitch like me out of Miami. I love my city.

This home had those floor-to-ceiling windows that I loved, a nice ass view of the city, and whoever the owners of this home was, you could tell that they didn’t spare any expense.

It was expensive art, and furniture throughout the entire home.

We were inside the master bedroom right now.

The size of this master bedroom was double the master bedroom that I had at home.

Because we were in the middle of shooting the music video, there was so many people inside the bedroom with us.

The director stood off to the side, with headphones around his neck, watching everything that the cameras picked up.

The entire camera crew was standing off to another side of the bedroom, making sure to get the perfect shot of the moment that was unfolding.

There were so many cameras around us. One was even hanging at the foot of the bed. They needed to get all kinds of angles.

Some of Kilo’s people were in here as well. The make-up artist was off to the side, wardrobe, and any assistants that were standing around. Lyric was here too. My girl had come to support, and for protection.

“Why the fuck would I hug you when I’m showing you the 2nd bitch for the week that just hopped in my inbox, telling me shit about you, and her?

You take me for a fuckin joke, nigga!” I spat, pulling the throw blanket off my body, and I hopped up from the bed.

I looked damn good hopping off this bed too.

Wardrobe styled me in a sexy red lace set for this scene.

It was a matching bra, and panties look.

On top of the set, I had on a thin, red robe that stayed hanging open.

The robe was short, so everything was exposed.

They did a light beat to my face. The goal was to portray a woman that was casually home, chilling, waiting to check her man as soon as he walked through the door, so they didn’t want to do a full beat.

Just something that was good enough for the camera.

I wasn’t wearing any shoes. My body was nice and oiled up, and I was ready to go in on his ass, which is what I was told to do.

“You let them dumb ass bitches hop in your inbox every other day and get you all riled up for nothing. If a bitch can’t show you a picture of me, and her together, then I don’t want to hear nothing about that shit.

You kicked up, living in a million-dollar house.

Don’t come at me with nothing that a bitch said to you!

” he snapped, removing the green Goyard bag that he was carrying on his back, and tossing it down on the floor.

From there, he removed the gun that was on his waist, tossed it at the foot of the bed, and removed his shirt. When the shirt and the wife beater came off, that’s when I broke character. I didn’t know what the fuck to say after that.

I was stuck. This nigga was too fuckin fine.

Then, it was the way he was undressing me with his eyes.

There was an intimate scene in the video that we hadn’t got to yet, but the way he was staring me up and down, you would think that he was ready to get to that part of the scene.

There was so much sexual tension between Kilo and I.

We met for the first time a couple of hours ago, and from the moment we locked eyes with each other, you could feel the attraction on both parts.

I knew I couldn’t fuck with him though. I was stupidly stuck on Hitta’s ass. Not only that, but Kilo was a dog too. There’s always shit coming out in the blogs with him, and all the other bitches that he deals with. I would be stupid to leave one dog for the next.

“Cut!” the director called out, snapping us both out of what was going on.

Niggas never really made me nervous because I worked the kind of career where I was used to being in a man’s face.

I knew how to naturally be myself around a man, but standing in front of this fine ass man, caused me to let out a nervous giggle.

Kilo was fine as fuck! Beautiful chocolate skin, low cut Ceasar with beautiful waves in his hair, and those pearly whites could probably talk any bitch out of their panties.

He had a way of looking you deep into your soul when he talked to you.

He was tall too. The nigga was towering over me.

Perfect body. When that shirt came off, and that 6 pack came to life, he caused me to stumble and fuck up my part in the video.

“Ya’ll sure ya’ll never met before?” Keith, the director came over and asked with a smile on his face.

“Nah. I only had the pleasure of seeing her pretty ass face online. I’m making you nervous, love? Why you stumbled over your lines?” Kilo asked me.

He had a deep ass voice. I could tell the nigga was dangerous. I just knew that he had a few bitches tucked away somewhere that didn’t play about his ass.

“A nigga has never in their life made me nervous,” I looked him in his eyes, lying to him, knowing damn well that I did just get a little nervous around him.

He smiled at what I said to him. I’m sure he knew that I was lying too.

As we were taking a quick break, someone from hair and make-up went over to him, so they could brush through his waves.

A couple of people came over to me. One was fixing the bra that I was wearing, while the other one was fixing the panties, and the robe.

I had someone else standing behind me, touching up my hair.

While they were doing that, Lyric walked over.

I appreciated Lyric so much for coming with me.

Dream, my best friend from high school couldn’t make it because she was out of town.

Eden, my godsister was nine months pregnant, getting ready to pop any moment now.

When Lyric found out about the music video, she immediately jumped on it, telling me that she would fly out here with me, so that I didn’t have to do it alone.

“You’re doing so good, baby,” Lyric came over to me and said.

“The nigga is making me a little nervous,” I whispered it to her.

Kilo wasn’t standing that far away, so I didn’t want him hearing me. When I revealed that to Lyric, she smiled and stepped closer to me. She was taller than me, so she leaned down a little, putting her lips to my ear, fully prepared to whisper something that she only wanted me to hear.

“You better fuck this nigga too. The chemistry is there,” Lyric whispered and I laughed, while pushing her ass away from me.

See, I was wild, but Lyric was wilder. Well, Poison was wild. For the most part, Deja was levelheaded. At least, I tried to be.

The reset lasted about five more minutes. Everyone from hair and make-up walked away. Lyric walked away too, going for the front of the room. Now, it was back to just Kilo, and I.

“Alright, everybody back to one. Quiet on the set,” Keith ordered.

In seconds, it was quiet as hell in here. Keith let us know to pick up exactly where we’d left off, and once he yelled out action, I found my voice, so we could continue.

“Ima stop fuckin with you. The shit you do to me is embarrassing,” I got in his face.

“You say this same shit to me every other day. You ain’t leaving me,” when he said that, it triggered the fuck out of me because Hitta has said those exact same words to me multiple times.

I would prove him right because after all the threats that I would make, the rants that I would go on, telling him that I was going to leave him was all in vain because I never left.

“I’m about to go. I feel so fuckin disrespected,” I went on, about to walk away from his ass, but he pulled me by the back of the robe, allowing my body to crash against his hard chest.

I could have died once we touched. Literally, passed the hell out once I got a whiff of him.

“Disrespected how? Bae, it’s two in the fuckin morning, and you coming at me about bitches!” he was in my ear with his. I was able to forcefully turn myself around and push him off me.

“Bitches that you keep disrespecting me with! Why the fuck can’t you understand that shit, nigga?” I screamed, really in character now. I was triggered so badly, that I snapped, jumping on his ass, and I started swinging on him.
