7. Javaris ‘Hitta’ Mitchell #2
Wolf didn’t say anything else to me after that. Ced and I just walked out of the store, and the security stayed outside the entire time, keeping his eyes on us, ready to make a move just in case we tried anything funny.
“What the fuck was that about? I felt the tension coming between you two since we walked in, but I didn’t know if I was tripping or not.
I don’t know Wolf personally, but they say that nigga is cool, and lowkey.
I never really heard of him being in any beef with niggas.
Ya’ll beefing?” Ced asked me once we got in my whip.
He hopped in the passenger seat, with his eyes on me, trying to figure out what was going on.
“You didn’t go with us to the club the other night.
Wolf came in there with his brothers. They were all in the VIP section.
Deja was dancing for them. She put on one hell of a fuckin performance for that nigga Wolf.
When I got to her crib later that night, I asked her how much money he threw at her, and she told me that he gave her a 20 ball.
She like that nigga. I’m sure he like her too.
That’s the only reason why he went so hard,” I voiced, and when I finished, Ced nodded his head, as if everything that just finished happening in the store finally made sense to him.
“You think he going to try and take Deja from you?” Ced asked me. I shot this nigga the nastiest look that I could muster.
“Man, I’ll fuckin kill her. I tell Deja all the time that the only way she can leave me is in a fuckin body bag.
I ain’t letting my bitch go nowhere. He can try to be captain save-a-hoe if he wants to.
I’ll kill that nigga too,” I meant what I said.
I wasn’t just saying these things out loud to hear myself speak.
Ced dropped it after that. We ended up driving to another jewelry store.
The nigga hit big last night on a ticket, having a big payout, so he wanted to purchase a new watch.
I took him to two spots, and he still didn’t find the one that he was looking for.
Crazy because he told me that before me and Wolf had gotten into it, that he saw something that he fucked with.
I’m not sure if he was going to have to go back to Wolf’s spot without me to purchase the watch that he wanted, or if he was going to just have to look around and find someone else to purchase it from.
After running around with Ced for a few hours, I ended up pulling up on Joy.
I had to talk to her and see what the fuck was going on.
We haven’t spoken since she hit me that night, telling me that her period was late.
Since then, I’ve been reaching out, just to get an update, but she wasn’t responding.
I knew that she hadn’t been going to work to dance, either.
I had some free time on my hands, so I pulled up to her apartment complex, parked my car in the visitors parking lot, and stepped out. I saw that her car was parked in her designated spot, which only meant that she was here.
Joy stayed on the first floor. I made it over to her door, pounded on the door with my fist, and it took about a minute for her to come open the door for me.
She stood on the other side, and she looked like shit.
She didn’t look ugly or anything because Joy was actually a very beautiful girl, but she looked sick.
Her shoulder length hair that was often styled in a bob look was all over her head.
There was dark circles under her eyes, as if she hasn’t been getting much sleep.
She stood there in just a cropped top that exposed her flat stomach, and belly button piercing.
She wore boy short underwear that were clinging onto her body.
Joy wasn’t the tallest. She was probably only 5’4”.
The stage name Obsession that she’d given to herself fit her perfectly.
That pussy was good. I did become obsessed with it, even though her shit wasn’t as good as Deja’s.
“What Hitta? I only opened the door because I thought that my food came,” she stated, right before she walked away from the front door, leaving my ass right there.
Joy had a banging ass body. Her ass was fat, so as she walked away, I got the perfect view of her, seeing the way her ass swallowed up the panties that she had on.
“That’s how you were going to open the door for somebody coming to bring you food? Fuck you got going on?” I asked, closing the door behind myself, and kicking my shoes off. I left my shoes by the door, and followed the direction that Joy went in.
She went to her bedroom. Her bed was made, but there was a throw blanket resting at the foot of the bed.
She picked the blanket up, propped herself up on the bed, lay on her side, and placed the blanket around her body.
I paid close attention to the small trash can that was on the side of the bed.
A box of tissue was resting on her nightstand too.
Her eyes were glued to me, as I walked over to her. I did care about Joy. I just didn’t care about her in the way that I cared about Deja. Because I cared, I reached my hand out, just to place it on her forehead. I was checking to see if she had a fever. She didn’t though. She felt fine.
“You pregnant?” I just went ahead and asked the million-dollar question.
Hell, that was the reason I came over here in the first place. She couldn’t verbally answer my question. It’s as if it was going to pain her too much to answer it, so she just nodded her head at me. When she nodded, I picked both hands up, dragging them down my face, and sighed.
“Hitta, I already told you in the text message the other day that you don’t have to fuckin stick around for me, and the baby.
We’re going to be straight regardless. Get out!
I been sick like a fuckin dog for the past few days.
The last thing I need is for you to come down here, looking like a sad puppy because I’m pregnant with your child.
Nigga, you knew I wasn’t on birth control.
I told you to pull out of me multiple times, but you did what the fuck you wanted to do.
Get out!” she screamed at me, sounding like a mad woman.
