Rage in the Cold Wilderness

A fugitive accused of murdering his ex-wife has vanished into Montana's remote backcountry with his nine-year-old daughter, and every hour of weather works against a rescue.

FBI Hostage Rescue Team sniper Sebastian Black takes charge of the manhunt, pushing through snowstorms and brutal ground to reach the girl before it is too late.

National Park Service ranger Nora Deacon, a search-and-rescue specialist, goes in with her K9 partner, Chance, carrying her own bitter understanding of what a child can face in the wrong company.

Assigned to the same operation, Sebastian and Nora have to rely on each other in country that can kill them as surely as the man they are chasing, even as heat builds between them.

With a blizzard moving in and the desperate father slipping further from control, they will have to stake everything—including the past each of them has tried to bury—on getting that child out.
