Rah
It was after midnight, so the neighborhood in Auburn Gresham was quiet as I crept through it in an old beater I had borrowed from the crackhead that cleaned Black Ice for me every morning, for fifty dollars and free beers whenever he came through.
I was driving with thoughts of money making my dick hard.
Nell was sitting next to me and could tell his bitch ass was nervous.
Lavell was in the back seat talking on his phone with some broad.
Finding the alley that I needed to go down, I made a left and made my way down it.
“It’s that house right here on the right.”
“Come on. Let’s get in and out.”
I parked the beater right behind the house so that when I got my hands on the money, I would be able to get outta dodge fast.
We hopped out, burners at our side. Lavell and Nell had pressed that they didn’t want to hurt these old people. They didn’t want any more blood on their hands. But fuck them niggas and their conscience. I planned on leaving no witnesses.
As we hopped the short fence and ran through the backyard, I felt my cold heart finally warming up. If nothing else made me smile, knowing that money was coming put a big ass grin on a nigga’s face.
As planned, I kicked the backdoor in. Then we quickly made our way inside. I was expecting to soon hear the voices of an old man or woman, but heard nothing. We raced in and out of every room, trying to find them. Once in the bedroom that looked like theirs, we saw the empty, made bed.
“Ain’t nobody here,” Lavell said, sounding relieved.
“Take me to the stash,” I told him. “Hurry up!”
Lavell scurried out of the room like a puppy leading his master.
I followed him up the stairs with Nell behind me watching my back.
Lavell led me to a large bathroom. Once inside, he went straight for a large closet that was inside.
The shelves were full of toiletries and towels.
He squatted down and removed the floorboard.
“Bet! It’s here!” he said.
“C’mon, simple nigga!” I barked. “Get the shit and let’s roll!”
Lavell reached into the hole in the floor and pulled out bags of cash and bricks of dope. The more bags he pulled out, the harder my dick got. As he pulled them out, I took some into my hands and so did Nell.
“A’ight. That’s it,” Lavell said, standing.
He looked excited as hell too. I couldn’t see into the bags but considering how heavy they were, I guessed that there had to be at least ten bricks of cocaine total.
I couldn’t even imagine how much cash, but I was ready to count it so I led the way out of the bathroom and took off.
I shot down the stairs and through the crib towards the back door, not even knowing if Lavell and Nell were behind me or not.
Once outside, the fresh air smelled like victory.
I kept running through the yard, happy as hell when the beater came into sight.
As soon as I was in reach, I snatched the driver’s door open, threw the bags in my hand in the back seat, and jumped in.
Grabbing the keys that I had left in the ignition, I turned the engine.
Lavell and Nell were just able to hop in before I was throwing that bitch in drive and pulling off.
“Damn, you gon’ leave us?!” Nell fussed.
As I raced down the alley, he finally managed to get his door closed.
“Chill out!” I barked. “You motherfuckers were taking too long.”
“Shit!” I bellowed as I punched the steering wheel and threw the cash back into the bag.
I was seething as I glared out of the windshield, staring at the park in front of us.
I had pulled into a park to count the money and dope. I couldn’t wait until I got to Nell’s crib. After counting all of the small bills, I had only counted seventy-five thousand.
“Man, seventy-five racks is nothing to sneeze at. I’m happy,” Nell said with a smile.
“Right,” Lavell agreed, irritating me. “And we got fifteen bricks to push. We set it at a right price that can be damn near three hundred and fifty thousand.”
“Whatever, man,” I grumbled. “Give me the shit.”
“Why? What you doin’?” Lavell asked.
“I gotta put it in the fucking trunk!” I snapped as I snatched one of the bags from his lap. Opening my door, I kept fussing. “You wanna ride around the city at two in the morning with bricks in yo’ lap, dumb ass?”
I got out of the car and snatched the bags from these goofies as they handed them to me.
Then, once at the back of the car, I took my gun from my back, glaring into the car through the back window.
Neither one of them was paying any attention.
They were laughing and talking like shit was sweet, but as I started to fire the gun into the car, they soon knew that nothing about this was sweet.
I damn near emptied the clip into that motherfucker.
I didn’t stop shooting until there was no bullets left and Nell and Lavell were slumped over.
“Stupid motherfuckers,” I mumbled as I walked back over to the driver’s side.
I took a wipe from my pocket and started to wipe away all traces of any of my fingerprints. Then I reached over and checked Lavell’s pulse. I was glad to see that any way to split the money had been eliminated. Then I reached into the backseat to do it again and felt a faint pulse on Nell.
“Shit,” I cursed and then fired two more bullets into his head.
And now, the last split was gone and this come up was all mine. Despite my greed, these motherfuckers had to die. Caine’s mother was on the police about finding him, so I had to eliminate the witnesses.
With all of the money and bricks in my hand, I walked away from the beater without a care in the world. I could still smell the gunpowder as I made my way out of the park and up the street to my Mustang as it sat waiting on me.
