Chapter 34 Havoc
Havoc
We leave before sunrise.
That’s how these things always go.
No speeches.
No drawn-out goodbyes.
Just movement.
Fast.
Focused.
Necessary.
The trucks are already running when I step outside.
Ace and Blaze are loading gear.
Wolf is checking comms.
The Nevada map is burned into my brain.
Entry points.
Exit routes.
Targets.
Everything we need to shut this down.
The front door opens behind me.
I don’t turn right away.
But I feel her there.
Aspen.
“You’re leaving now,” she says.
I nod once.
“Yeah.”
