Chapter 46 Havoc

Havoc

We don’t stop.

Not for sleep.

Not for food.

Not for anything.

We hit the second location before dawn.

Another warehouse.

Smaller.

But connected.

Blaze breaches.

Ace clears.

Wolf secures.

I move straight for the office.

Rip open drawers.

Files.

Drives.

Anything.

Saint is already in my ear.

“You’re getting close,” he says.

“I know.”

Because I can feel it.

This is tightening.

Closing in.

Then—

I find it.

A ledger.

Handwritten.

Old school.

Untraceable.

Names.

Routes.

Payments.

And one line—

Circled.

TRANSFER COMPLETE — TEXAS HOLD FAILED

My blood runs cold.

They weren’t just testing.

They were already here.

Already moving.

Already planning.

I grab the comm.

“Trigger.”

“Go.”

“They’ve got active operations in Texas,” I say.

“Not just watching.”

A pause.

Then—

“I figured.”

Of course he did.

I look down at the ledger again.

At the damage already done.

At what’s coming next.

And for the first time…

This feels bigger than one mission.

Bigger than one town.

But right now?

There’s only one thing that matters.

“Lock it down,” I say.

“Nothing gets through.”

Because I’m not there.

And that’s not something I’m handling well.
