Chapter 20

Chapter Twenty

Cameron

The first thing I registered was warmth.

I blinked groggily. The room was grey-blue with early morning light. My hand was intertwined with Theo’s, the way it had been before I fell asleep.

And speaking of Theo…

He was awake and looking at me.

I caught my breath, any remnants of sleep dissolving instantly.

Theo lay on his side, his head propped on one arm, his eyes softer than I’d had ever seen them, gazing at me with an intensity that stole the air right out of my lungs.

Theo didn’t look away.

“Morning.” My voice sounded scratchy.

Theo’s lips curved, and it was warmer than a smile, the kind of expression you only gave someone when you didn’t have your defences up.

“Morning.”

I stilled. Theo was studying me, every blink, every breath, every inch of bare skin not hidden beneath the duvet.

I returned his gaze. “How long have you been awake?”

Theo hesitated. “A while.”

My stomach flipped. “You were watching me?”

Theo looked away, his face flushed. “I was checking on you.”

“How do you feel?”

Theo closed his eyes for a moment, then let out a sigh. “I feel… settled.”

I blinked. “Settled is good.”

“It’s confusing,” Theo corrected gently.

I squeezed his hand. “We can be confused together.”

Theo stared at me again, his gaze direct and unguarded. “Last night, I needed someone. And you were here.”

“Not just here.” I let go of his hand and stroked his cheek. “With you.” I smiled. “Is this going to become a thing, me waking up to find you studying me? Because I have to say, it’s a little bit—”

“Creepy?”

I chuckled. “I was going to say unnerving.” I didn’t want to talk.

I wanted him to touch me, kiss me…

If you don’t ask, you don’t get.

It was one of Gary’s favourite sayings when I was little.

Maybe he has a point.

“Theo…”

His gaze met mine, those blue eyes as beautiful as the day I realised what I really wanted.

So dreams can come true.

Then he smiled, and those eyes lit up. “You know what? It’s Saturday.”

I bit my lip. “Yeah, that usually follows Friday.”

“So no classes.” That smile was doing ridiculous things to my insides. “Nothing to get up for. We can stay here a while. I can’t tell you the last time I had a lie in.”

My heartbeat quickened. “I do have a suggestion for how we could spend our morning.”

I knew the moment he got the memo. His breathing hitched, and his lips parted.

I rolled on top of him, loving the feel of his lean, firm body beneath mine. I stared into his eyes, then closed the gap between us and kissed him.

I could kiss Theo Sinclair all day.

His hands were in my hair, and when I let out a low moan of pleasure, he deepened the kiss. I did a slow grind, aware of solid warmth against my own dick that wasn’t quite awake yet.

“The other night…” he began.

“What about it?”

“There was something I should’ve told you.”

I blinked. “Uh-oh.”

His eyes widened. “Nothing bad, honest. It was just…” He slid his hand between our bodies and reached into my briefs, his fingers brushing the head of my cock.

I caught my breath.

“You tasted so good.” He smiled. “But I think I need to do that again. You know, to see if it was really as good as I thought.”

My heart beat faster. “You won’t hear any complaints from me.”

He patted his chest. “Then take your briefs off and park yourself here, your legs straddling me.”

I snickered. “‘Park’ myself? How could a boy refuse such an elegant invitation?” I got up onto my knees, removed my underwear, and shuffled higher up the bed, until my cock was pointing at Theo’s mouth.

Yeah, now it was awake.

“Put your hand on the wall above the headboard.”

I braced my arms, and the movement brought the head of my dick to his lips. Theo grabbed my arse, pulled me forward, and my shaft was surrounded by wet heat.

I groaned. “This could become addictive.”

Theo said nothing, but gave a slow suck on the head, sending a shiver all the way from my head to my toes.

I rolled my hips, going a little deeper, and the moan that reverberated through my cock only served to intensify those shivers.

Theo dug his fingers into my arse cheeks, encouraging me to go deeper still, and my shaft grew harder.

My palms flat to the wall, I stared at the sight below: Theo taking my cock, all of it, his face red, his eyes watering—

And holy of holies, he wasn’t silent.

My heart pounded, and I picked up the pace, letting out a soft cry when he curled his fingers around my shaft and worked it as he sucked, his other hand tugging on my sac.

“Too fast,” I moaned. “Slow it down. I want this to last.”

Theo spluttered and pulled free of my dick. “Want to try this for yourself?”

I caught my breath. “I thought you’d never ask.

” I turned around in a heartbeat and dragged Theo’s briefs to his ankles.

Theo’s cock sprang free, rising like a fleshy exclamation mark, pre-cum already beading at the slit.

Before I could lick it, Theo’s mouth enclosed my dick once more, and I shuddered.

I thrust into heat and wetness, Theo’s cock painting my lips with the clear sticky fluid. I opened my mouth and took in the blunt, warm head.

I’d dreamed of this. My first blow job fantasy had revolved around getting on my knees and sucking Theo’s dick.

It had only taken six years to make it a reality.

I bobbed my head, loving how he filled my mouth, how his shaft stretched my lips. It was tough to concentrate on giving the task one hundred percent of my attention, however, when I felt Theo’s throat tight around my own cock.

How can anyone do this?

Then I groaned when Theo pulled free, only to suck one of my balls into his warm mouth.

“Aw, fuck, that’s fighting dirty.”

Theo chuckled around it, and the sound sent my heart soaring.

He’s loving this too.

I couldn’t focus. All I wanted was to come down Theo’s throat.

I got into a rhythm, fucking Theo’s mouth, my hips pumping, my heart hammering, and with every moan around my dick, Theo drove me closer to the edge.

“That’s it. Fuck, don’t stop. Theo… Theo, you’re gonna make me come… Theo…”

I swear his groans multiplied.

Theo gripped my thighs as he sucked harder, and I tugged on his shaft, desperate to bring him with me.

“Yeah, just like that.” Blood thundered in my ears, my breathing raw and harsh. “Theo… so close…”

Theo stopped long enough to utter four words.

“Give it to me.”

Then my cock was once again buried in his throat, and I couldn’t hold back a second longer. I shot hard, jolted by mini shocks, my elbows locked as I shuddered my way through my orgasm. And through it all, Theo took every drop until I was done.

“Shit!” Theo grasped his own cock, and a heartbeat later, warm cum painted my face.

I licked it from my lips, a salty-sweet taste.

“Fuck, I’m sorry,” he blurted.

I knelt up and swung around to face him, grinning. “I like protein first thing in the morning, but that’s usually in the form of eggs.” I wiped my face with my fingers. “I’m happy to try alternatives, though.”

Theo laughed and tugged me down onto him. Our lips met, and we shared the taste of each other.

I rested my head on his shoulder. “Thank you.”

“For what? Making you scream first thing in the morning?”

“I did not scream,” I protested. “I was just… enthusiastic.” I craned my neck to look him in the eye. “And I was thanking you for letting me hear how much you enjoyed sucking my dick. You weren’t quiet. I loved that.”

Theo flushed. “Small steps, right?”

I smiled. “Small steps.”

And I intended being there for every single one—at Theo’s side.

Theo

“Are you hungry?” Cameron asked.

I groaned. “Starving.”

“For food,” he clarified with a shaky grin.

My ears grew hot. “Yes. That.”

“Then let’s get breakfast.”

I didn’t want to move. Cameron was in my arms like a knot I didn’t want undone.

Then he was up and heading for the door, providing me with a glorious view of his lean form.

He has the perfect arse.

I lay there, my mind replaying every moan, every sensation.

Pleasure without shame would take some getting used to, but I meant to try.

I walked into the kitchen. Cameron was barefoot, his hair mussed, wearing last night’s T-shirt—my T-shirt, actually—and humming under his breath whatever song was playing on his phone.

The sight felt like a blow to my chest. It was so… domestic. Comfortable.

Cameron cracked eggs into a bowl, and the sound dragged me back into the moment.

“Sit,” he said. “Before you overthink yourself into combusting.”

I sat on the couch. Overthinking was a habit that was ingrained, one I didn’t think I could stop. The music ended, and I concentrated on watching Cameron.

He cooked like he sketched, instinctively, freely, with ease. I watched the movement of his shoulders, the curve of his back, the way his hips swayed slightly with the music.

He looks like he belongs here.

Cameron handed me a mug of coffee, and our fingers brushed. I felt the contact all the way to my ribs. Then he went back to buttering toast and stirring eggs.

I generally liked my mornings quiet.

I could get to like this kind of morning.

Cameron brought over two plates, and sat beside me on the couch, our knees bumping. We ate in silence for a moment, but it didn’t feel awkward.

I never knew silence could feel full.

When he was done, Cameron set his plate down on the chest/coffee table. “So.”

I stiffened. “So?”

He smiled. “We should probably talk about… us.”

My pulse jumped. I reached for my mug, forgot it was empty, and set it back down.

“Can I be practical for a second?” Cameron bit his lip. “You get tested, so… is that something I should think about too? Even if the only person I intend going to bed with is sitting right in front of me?”

“It’s a good habit to get into.” And damn, his words made me feel amazing.

He only wants me. Me.

He smiled. “So the next time you go wherever it is you… go, I’ll go with you.”

I managed a nod.

Cameron let out a sigh. “I’m not asking for a label, or a plan. Or even a timeline. I just want to know where your head is.”

I inhaled slowly.

My head was everywhere and nowhere, in Cameron’s hands, under Cameron’s mouth,

pressed into Cameron’s shoulder.

My head was terrified and hopeful at the same time.

I cleared my throat.

“What happened Thursday—and just now,” I began, choosing my words carefully.

I took another breath. “It mattered. And I know there was a moment yesterday when I thought I was making a mistake, but I don’t now. It’s just that…” I swallowed. “I don’t do this. Not normally. Not ever.”

“I know.” Cameron’s eyes were warm.

“And I don’t know what happens now.”

Cameron reached out and slid his fingers over my knuckles. I didn’t pull away.

“What happens now,” he said gently, “is whatever we choose.”

I swallowed again. “Would you understand if I told you I’m scared?”

Cameron’s thumb brushed my hand once. “Me too. That’s how you know it’s real.” He let out a breath. “So… Are you with me in this? Even if it’s messy? Even if it’s slow?”

I raised my chin to meet his gaze, and inside me, something steadied. “Yes.”

Cameron’s smile lit up his face. “Good,” he murmured. “Because I’m with you too.”

I expelled a long, unbroken breath.

Cameron nudged my knee with his, and I nudged back.

For the first time since letting Cameron into my bed, I didn’t feel as though I was about to shatter.

I felt—

Found.
