Camden #2
Her legs wrapped around my waist keeping me locked in place.
I didn’t mind because I could feel the love she had for me with each throb against my shaft.
Her moans transitioned into soft cries. Almost as if she’d finally felt relief from the pain she’d been suffering from.
I hated that I caused that for her but my attempt to heal her was in motion.
Kisses were placed on each side of her face where the tears were released. I was back and wasn’t going to allow her to hurt anymore.
“I love you, Cam,” was whispered into my ear as she softly scratched my back.
I knew I had a lot to do in order to gain what was lost back but I was prepared. There was no limit as to what I would do so that she could see my sincerity behind her. She’d always chose the right man for her, and I was going to prove that. My time was dedicated to her and her alone now.
“I love you more, Low.” Whether she believed that or not, it was the truth.
Her cries subsided and her moans returned. She was back into the spirit of receiving good loving. In this moment, I didn’t want her to feel pain but pleasure and enjoy the time we were able to spend together again. Under the circumstances, this was something we both needed.
Picking up the pace, I went to work for another dose of her sweet nectar. With her leg cradled in my arm, I was applying pressure to her pearl while delivering deep strokes. The ones she couldn’t run from even if she tried.
We climaxed together shortly after and remained in each other’s arms. She was who I wanted where I wanted to be.
“Thank you,” I said, pecking her lips.
“For?”
“Not moving on. I don’t think I’d know how to deal with that for real.”
She tapped my shoulder asking me to give her some space. I slid out of her and got comfortable at the head of the bed. She joined me and cuddled under me. It was a gesture we haven’t been able to do in quite some time. It was missed.
“You said you never stopped loving me, so why wasn’t I good enough for a phone call or even a text. Mya wasn’t the woman you said you gave your heart to. What was the purpose of all this?”
“Pops wasn’t a fan of me being in love with anyone knowing I was supposed to take over the family business. He wanted me to do what he did with my mother. They were much like us, and she was left behind as well.”
“We aren’t your parents, Cam. We had our own thing going on and we have a different connection. You should’ve trusted me.”
“This wasn’t about trust, Low. I had to make a decision that could’ve altered my reality. Would you love a nigga if he was broke? Never able to do anything for you but always running up your time? You would’ve walked and you know it.”
Silence swarmed us and that let me know that eventually what I thought would’ve been genuine and real, would’ve withered away.
I didn’t think she was a gold digger, but I knew it was only so much a person could take and do.
Harlow wasn’t an exception. As a man, we’re supposed to protect and provide.
Going against my father and choosing her, I wouldn’t be able to do half of that.
“That’s what I thought.”
“Don’t say it like that Cam because the circumstances would’ve been different, and we both would’ve had to adjust, and that adjustment could’ve caused problems for us.”
“Which was why I chose to let you continue on with your life and not worry about me. We were eighteen and nineteen years old, Low. What the hell kind of person did you expect me to be? Someone who truly loves their partner wouldn’t bring on drastic change like that.
I did what was right whether you believe it or not. ”
“You did what was right for you, not us.”
“Can we debate about this in the morning? I was having a delightful time making you cum.”
She removed herself from under my arm and straddled my lap. “We will continue this conversation. I have a lot to say, and you have a lot more to explain.”
“Yes ma’am.”
Her lips found mine again and we continued to love one another down for hours on hours until we both had enough. When we fell asleep, she was in my arms, and I felt like I gained warmth in my heart once more.
&
The sun was shining bright which caused me to wake before I was ready.
I took a minute to take in everything that occurred between me and Low because those were moments I missed out on for five consecutive years.
I didn’t think I would ever be able to smell her sweet fragrance ever again.
Releasing a deep breath, I rolled over expecting to cuddle up on my woman when I got nothing but an empty bed.
I glanced around the room and saw that nothing of hers was in sight.
She ran after I told her my intentions and that hurt a nigga feelings.
I wondered why she was so acceptive of me and it seemed as if she was only here for closure.
She left me with no explanation the same way I did her.
I wanted to be upset but that was my karma.
However, I wasn’t going to let it be set in stone. I came back for her and her alone.
Throwing the covers back, I got out the bed and headed for the shower.
She could run but she couldn’t hide. She put her heart on hold for years and now she thought she could just run from what was meant to be.
I low key expected her to reject me sooner, but she got what she wanted before she dipped out.
Sex had always played a major factor in our relationship.
As the water began to run and reach its correct temperature, I couldn’t help but think on the events from last night.
I was going to keep my distance and approach her in a less surprising way but when I saw so many men surrounding her and Mya, the jealousy I had stored in me seeped out.
She’d been the prize from day one and I damn sure wasn’t letting someone else come and claim her.
Out of all the women I’d dealt with, Harlow was the most qualified to handle a man like me.
She was smarter than me and brought out the best in me.
We were children back then, but she pushed me to mature and want to give her the respect she deserved.
That was the first time I made someone a priority outside of my family. I wanted her to know she mattered.
I was praying she didn’t go far. I knew Low and when things got too overwhelming, she’d turn into that child that her parents had to nurture and console.
I wanted to be the one she turned to again.
I knew that would require a lot of work, but I needed her to give me another chance.
I felt like the love we housed for each other was worth that.
Stepping underneath the running water, I allowed my thoughts to settle.
The only person that knew her better than me was Mya.
I would hold a conversation with her once I was dressed for the day.
I knew she was probably still entertaining old dude from the bar, but I wasn’t requesting much of her time.
The shower lasted no more than fifteen to twenty minutes. I was in no rush to go after Harlow. She could only be in one of two places and one place I already knew the location to. I hadn’t seen her parents in quite some time but they loved me so I knew I could pop up without it ending bad.
I hopped out, wrapping a towel around my waist and handled the rest of my hygiene. Shortly after, I was dressed in a more comfortable fit. Mya’s room was next door, so I didn’t have to go far at all to figure out where it was that woman went.
I stepped out and quickly knocked. It went unanswered so I did another series of knocks to gain her attention.
I heard her shout from the other side, and I waited patiently.
To be real, she didn’t even have to open the door.
I just needed one simple answer. She opened the door wrapped in a sheet and I knew she had old boy stay the night with her.
“Where is she?” I asked getting right to the point.
“What you mean? I thought she was with you.”
“Mya, I wouldn’t be interrupting your hoe session if she was. Where could she go?”
“Uhm, I’m not sure. She doesn’t tell her parents anything anymore so I know she wouldn’t go there. Hold on, let me grab my cell and call her.”
Nodding, I waited once more, and we ended up getting nowhere. Her phone went straight to voicemail, and I was becoming aggravated with her disappearance.
“Did she go home?”
“Hell no, that’s too easy. Let me check her location.” She scrolled on her phone and when I saw her facial expression drop, I knew that was a dead end as well. “It’s turned off.”
“Text me your home address so I could see if she went there to clear her mind. If she comes back here, call me.”
“I will and Cam… it’s good to see you chasing her. She needs that kind of treatment. Not saying you’re supposed to chase her the entire relationship, but she needs to feel important again.”
“She’s worth the chase. Thank you.”
I walked away feeling defeated once more. However, I wasn’t going to give up on her because she was the one that held my heart. I didn’t trust it with nobody else which was why the ring I bought prior to our reconnection was hitting her finger sometime before the weekend was up.
