Chapter 20 #2
Truth be told, she was right too. I should’ve been moving more careful with my heart, especially considering my fucked up situation with the person who’d played a role with my full belly now. But I felt safe with Burkeley.
“Yes, you can but chill a bit on her. We didn’t meet the last one, but I truly believe our baby momma is in good hands with Burkeley.
We’ve got other things to be worried about.
We find out what she’s having after this next appointment.
I’m taking bets that it’s a girl. And planning the baby shower or gender reveal.
Johnni, don’t lose the plot!” Hollis chimed in, now spraying my face with setting spray.
“Speaking of, when is your next appointment? It’s my turn, right?” Johnni asked.
“Aht aht, privileges revoked. You can’t be making our baby momma feel bad for having fun and getting dicked down by her baby daddy and going to doctor’s appointments,” Hollis said, now standing up which had Johnni kissing her teeth.
This was the part I had forgotten to mention because I didn’t know how they would react.
“Um.. neither of you is going. BK requested to come and I…”
“Oh hell the fuck no!” Hollis yelled just as he walked in. Yeah. The man had even fucked his way into the code and a key.
I bit on my bottom lip thinking about that night.
It was two nights ago when we were here and BK had me riding him on the couch before he left me to do surveillance for a case he was working on.
My ass shouldn’t have been sitting on his lap no way considering he had just worked me out in the shower.
But his slick ass mouth had me calling out his name as he whispered the nastiest shit into my ear.
He begged to come back but I told him no, that I would be asleep since it was late already.
And somehow, with his mouth on my spot as his dick hit the other, he not only got the code but the main key until he had his copy made.
“Play daddies don’t get to do appointments.
That’s where I draw the line, nigga,” Hollis spat out as she looked at BK who looked the fuck good in his camo pants, a burgundy sweater, and tennis shoes to match.
The whole look was simple but it fit him perfectly and matched me.
That one detail had me grinning silly, knowing he’d planned his outfit once he asked what colors I was wearing.
He smirked before he put his attention on me. I didn’t even get clearance that I was done before my feet had me gliding right into his arms.
“Hey, baby.” Just like him, the simple term of endearment had been leaving my mouth frequently more and more. He kissed my lips, doing the most before he grabbed my hand and twirled me around, giving himself a full three-sixty view, causing me to giggle and blush during the whole thing.
“Mmm… M&M, you look good. You sure you want to wear this to meet these people? They ain’t worth all this. This is more of only for me type of stuff.” He wrapped me in his arms and grabbed a handful of my ass, making me playfully hit his chest.
“Baby, the girls can see us,” I whispered, failing miserably, and Burkeley ignored me as he nuzzled his face into my neck, doing a better job at passing secrets.
“So? You act like they don’t know that’s how you got that Peanut in there right now. I can’t wait until I don’t have to share you with anyone else and I can be buried back deep inside of you. I can’t get enough of you calling me daddy.”
Yeah, we had crossed every invisible line according to Burkeley.
And just like him, I stayed in this fairytale every time he was around to crowd my good sense.
And not to mention he had gotten comfortable with claiming Peanut as his, even when no one was around to prove the point, and just like everything else he did that I liked, I never corrected him.
The sound of Hollis clearing her throat had me trying to break free, but in true fashion, Burkeley’s hold around me was strong.
“Hey, ladies. I hope she’s ready because I’m officially ready to kidnap her for the night.”
Hollis and Johnni both shared a look and I knew what they were thinking already. This was way more than I had described to them.
Shit, to myself too.
Hollis cleared her throat. “Yup. And my apologies for misspeaking before, baby daddy. They are all yours. Y’all kids have fun and be safe.
I’ll lock up after we pack up and clean, Mickey.
” I gave her a side eye while Burkeley was getting my jacket to cover up the burgundy one-piece spandex set with my combat boots I wore with my baby bump, along with every other curve of my body, on full display.
It might have been way too much for a pumpkin patch, but like he said, this was for him.
We pulled up at the pumpkin patch and I immediately spotted my parents standing at the entrance near who I recognized as Burkeley’s mom and an older version of Burkeley.
“Are you ready to do this?” he asked as he grabbed my hand and kissed the back.
“No, but here we are. Tell me again who picked this place as a family outing?”
Burkeley chuckled as he shook his head, getting out of the truck and rounding it to get me.
“I told you, Art’s wife Amber picked. She set up everything this year outside of the party next week and the ball games. Speaking of, how much of a discount do I get for the Sharks game suite for Thanksgiving?”
“Baby, I told you my seats go fast, and again, I only have Christmas seats left for the Royals. I’m holding tight to those until the very last minute.
My Thanksgiving weekend suites were gone as soon as I listed them.
And the only discount you’re getting is reaping the benefits that my man would get,” I teased.
Burkeley gently snatched me back against his chest as he kissed my cheek.
I loved provoking the beast in him to be this aggressive with me.
It made the throb on my clit purr even more.
“Benefits to a title I already own, huh? That’s funny.
I swear you love laughing me out my damn draws, M&M.
Keep playing with me though, and before Peanut even makes it out, their sibling is gonna be marinating, waiting on their turn.
” I gasped at his declaration of him planting his seeds deep enough for me to have his baby.
That’s a permanent thing, Mickey!
I didn’t even have time to ponder it before both sets of parents were greeting us. Mrs. Anna and my mother both damn smothered me at the same time while Burkeley handled the introductions amongst the crew.
“Oh my gosh, you didn’t tell me that you’ve popped this much, Mickey.” My mother gushed over me.
“Mama, I told you there was a baby in here for real the other day,” I said as I moved to hug Mrs. Anna.
“It’s a pleasure to finally meet you in person, Mickey. It killed me not to pop up when I knew you were at the house. Apparently that husband of mine was already upset that I was getting special video calls.”
That had me laughing because the one and only time it happened was the first food drop off two weeks ago.
“It’s a pleasure meeting you too, Mrs. Anna, and thank you again for keeping me and Peanut fed good.
The lasagna you sent this past week was one of my favorite dishes.
Well, besides the Cajun Alfredo you make for me.
I mentioned your delicious meals to my mama and now she wants to try them as well.
I told her I would make the connection because I couldn’t share mine. ”
I motioned toward Kat who was holding her arms wide for Mrs. Anna who welcomed the hug. They shared words before Burkeley called me to meet his father.
“Mickey, this is my father, Paul. This is Mickey.” He held his hand out for a shake, kissing the back of mine.
“Well, young lady, it’s a pleasure. I won’t lie and say your presence knocked me off my square for a minute when I first heard about you and BK, but seeing you in person, I understand why he kept you close for as long as he did.” This was definitely where Burkeley got his game from.
I just blushed before the rest of the people arrived, with his brother Art being the loudest. Amber greeted me, hugging me. I didn’t get a chance to talk to her much at the bonfire but she seemed sweet.
“Okay, crew, since Amber set this up, we’re using this as an opportunity to pick the pumpkins that will be at the party next week.
So yes, I’m putting y’all behinds to work.
I need two apiece from each of y’all. Dr. Bailey and Mama Kat, you don’t have to worry.
Mickey, sweetie, you just point and put my son to use to get yours,” Mrs. Anna called out, getting our attention and making Art groan.
“Mama, that wasn’t part of the deal. See, baby, I told you we should’ve cancelled this one and picked those damn apples instead,” he complained as we all made our way inside.
I smirked as I watched my parents blend in, opting to fully participate as my mama and Mrs. Anna walked next to each other talking.
“Yeah, put me to use, Mickey.” I gave him a side eye for calling me by my nickname as he wrapped his arms around me as we walked in.
“I plan on it,” I said, smirking, breaking free as I tossed a wink back at him.
