Whiplash

Ryn

I’ve never really been a shy person, but the cheeky smile and possessive glint in Seth’s eyes after he basically milked me of his cum definitely sends a blush across my skin.

Holy fuck. It’s probably a good thing that my vagina needs some downtime, or we might never leave this fucking room.

Oh gods! I whip my head around and feel my eyes widen in alarm. We’re still in my godsdamn lab!

I push against the shadows on my legs and shoot a panicked look at my still simpering boyfriend. “Seth, let me down. I need my fucking clothes!”

He snaps out of it and frowns, blinking a couple of times before setting me down and dropping the rest of his shadows. I bend down to grab my clothes and glance up at the club hanging proudly between his legs.

“Mind the cum puddle, love. Don’t want to slip. This is a workplace, after all.”

I stand up and glare at him as I hurriedly pull on my clothes, cringing at the feel of my panties against my still-damp crotch. “Get dressed! Now!”

Seth gives me an exaggerated pout as he pulls on his clothes, “But I thought you liked me naked best.”

“Yes, but I don’t want to have to claw my coworkers' eyes out for coveting what's mine.”

His face lights up with unbridled delight at my words, and I can’t help but chuckle at the sight. He’s so easy. I fucking love it.

I walk into his arms and press a kiss to his cheek, and take a comforting inhale of his addictive scent.

Everything is easy with Seth, actually. It’s so refreshing, but also slightly alarming.

Before I can pull a coherent thought from the jumbled mess of my mind, my eyes catch on my abandoned workstation, and I gasp.

“You okay, love?” Concern saturates Seth’s voice, and his teasing tone vanishes upon clocking my rapid mood change.

My heart warms in response to his attentiveness, but I nod absentmindedly as I walk toward the stones.

They’re…glowing. Leaning in carefully and placing my ear next to them, my eyes widen as a gentle hum emanates from within.

I pull my head away, and the sound disappears.

Lean in, it's back. There's no way. It's impossible.

Expecting Seth to be where I left him, I whip around and grunt as I collide right into his solid chest.

“What’s the matter?” He furrows the prominent ridges of his orbital bone as he glances from me to the stones.

I point to the now-fading glow and sputter, “Do you see that?”

He forces his eyes away from me to trace the path of my shaking finger.

I can see the moment the impossible reality in front of us registers in his mind.

His orbs swirl fast once before he purses his lips and sends a blast of thick shadow out toward the stones.

When the darkness touches them, a familiar ringing fills the air, and my jaw drops as I look back at Seth.

I thought the ringing in my ears was part of the sensory deprivation and the intensity of what we just did, and while part of it undoubtedly was, there was also an actual ringing!

“Seth! Oh, my gods!”

He drops the shadows, and his orbs flash at the sight of the brightly glowing stones. “Shadow dust? How the fuck did your sister get shadow dust?” His voice is as serious as I’ve ever heard it, and my skin prickles with goosebumps.

“This is bad, Seth.” I gulp and blink, then swallow thickly and blink again. “This is really bad.”
