Chapter 29

Rowan

Chaos handed the chains to me. They were heavy. Heavier than I thought they would be, as my hand moved down from the weight of them. I looked over at the two bitches who had been making my life hell, for longer than necessary.

Two bitches whose life was now forfeit.

Reaper had given me something. Something far greater than anyone else.

He’d woken me up, the darkness that simmered away inside of me was wanted, and appreciated.

Loved even. He made me who I am, accepted me for all my faults, loved me for all of them, too.

He thought of me as his, because I was accepting of him, and his darkness. And he loved me for mine.

“You stupid bit–” Tee spat, trying to get on her knees, with her hands bound in front of her.

“Uh-uh,” Shadow interrupted her. “I wouldn’t talk to our prez’s ol’ lady like that if I were you.”

I loved him. He was quiet, dealt in the darkness, and kept to the shadows, which is how he got his name, but for him to stand up for me. It meant more than any of the others.

“He’ll be done with you in a few months. There’s nothing special about you, stupid whore.”

Her words used to hurt me. I used to cry for days on end when she would torture me in high school, and then I’d starve myself so I could drop those last few kilos. But I see it now. My curves were an asset, they are what landed me my man. He loved them.

Just like any real man did. They didn’t see it as something ugly, something that couldn’t be loved. It was just more to love.

Tee was jealous. Maybe she always had been.

Tori shrivelled next to her, looking around at all the bikers who had gathered to watch me take them apart for their crimes. Nothing was going to stop me now.

“You need help, little minx?” Reaper asked me. I had no idea when he’d gotten here, but I could see the curious glint in his eye.

“I got it, babe,” I told him, winking before I moved over to my two torturers.

Both of them tried to get away, but Beast and Knight held them down by their shoulders.

Tee was the most vocal, but that was no surprise.

She had the sharpest, and most wicked tongue between the both of them.

It made up for her lack of appeal, I suppose.

“Any last words before I deliver judgment for hurting my family, for drugging my daughter and trying to hurt my man?”

Moving the chains over the top of Tori’s head, I heard her whimper before she started to sob about having a tough life, that she never meant to hurt me, that she was sorry and it was all Tee’s doing, to which Tee gasped in shock and turned her ire on her supposed best friend.

“You ungrateful cunt,” she cried out. “I gave you everything!”

Tori continued to sob and cry about what a horrible person Tee was, and it was never her that said the things that had caused me to throw up after meals just so I could “fit” in.

Throwing the heavy chain around Tori’s throat, I wrapped another loop around her neck, making sure it was pulled tight enough that it couldn’t unravel, but wouldn’t cut off her breathing.

No, that was for later. I wanted her to feel everything I was about to do to her.

Moving in front of her, I wrapped it around her bindings to secure the chain to her body. Throwing the end of the chain to the ground, I turned back to Chaos as he handed me the second one with a smirk.

“Good method,” he said with a nod to my handiwork.

“Fuck you bitch, get away from me,” Tee screamed, her fear mounting as I inched closer.

I wanted to drag it out. I didn’t want her to just get the fuck beat out of her.

I wanted her to feel the pain she caused me over the years, all those wasted years suffering, thinking I wasn’t good enough, that I was a bad person, that no one would love me.

She deserved the worst of it.

“What was it that you always said to me?” I asked her, feigning a sudden case of memory loss. I moved behind her, watching as she bristled, her spine stiffening. “Ah that’s right…fuck around and find out.”

“Yeah–”

“Uh uh,” I said, before I slung the chain round her throat quickly, cutting her off. She cried out and tried to move out of my grasp, but I looped it around again, just the same as I had for Tori. “I guess you fucked around and found out, huh?”

I moved back to her front, looking down into her fierce eyes, that stiff upper lip still on her dumb face. She wasn’t even close to being remorseful, but she would be when her skin was being ripped from her body.

Maybe then, she’d cry for mercy.

But it wouldn’t come.

I was done with bullies.

These two had been trying for months to get between me and Reaper, trying to suck his dick when we were fighting, drugging my stepdaughter just because Tee realised she’d never have Reaper…

They almost took the only thing I never knew I needed.

Their reign of terror ends now. A lesson to the other club whores not to mess with an ol’ lady’s man.

I grabbed the ends of both chains and wrapped them behind them both, tying it at the back of them so they couldn’t wrangle their way out of them, and up to my bike.

My bike. Reaper really did want me to have the world.

He’d had it custom made for me a week or so ago, but hadn’t gifted it to me until yesterday.

Chaos had had these bitches strung up in the shed since Mako’s patching in party two days ago.

I’d waited for two days, wanting them to feel the wrath of my anger.

It had also taken time to come up with this plan.

For a MC, you’d think they would have heavy chains everywhere but no, apparently not. Chaos had managed to grab them from the salvage yard for this very purpose.

I tied the ends of the chains to the back of my bike with a smile. I could feel it in my cheeks. I’d never been so happy before.

“Baby,” Reaper put his hand on my stomach, and leaned in, a kiss on my hairline. How could one simple act make me feel so cherished? So wanted? “Let me do this.”

“Not going to happen, Wyatt,” I said, looking up into his eyes. Those eyes that lived rent free in my head, whether he was near or not. “Ol’ ladies take out the club whore trash. This is my business.”

His half smirk was devastating. “Thatta girl. Give ‘em hell, and come home to me.”

He kissed me, hard, brutal, claiming. I moaned into it, before he pulled away, and swatted me on the backside.

I loved that man.

That man was going to be my husband, and I was going to be the best damn ol’ lady the Shackled Sons ever saw.

I turned back to the two of them, who both shook with fear. The chains were tight enough that they couldn’t speak any more vitriol.

Good.

Jumping on my bike, I started her up and shot down the excitement that was bubbling to the surface.

Normal people didn’t get excited about things like this, Ro. Then again, I wasn’t normal anymore. Maybe, I never was. But the truth was those two had created a monster, and it was time to pay the toll.

I took off, out the gates of the compound, and down the gravel road of the wilderness surrounding the clubhouse.

The chain pulled tight and the two of them dragged behind the bike as I hightailed it through the rockiest roads I could find. Looking back, I could see their bloodied bodies being torn to pieces by the gravel road, and the rocks they were landing on.

Laughing as I continued on, I could still see their legs kicking out.

Not enough…okay.

I moved through a darker road, one that only the boys knew about.

It was used for smuggling the imports in and out, and it led up to the crossing that would lead into Kurrajong.

Swerving a little, I heard the impact of their bodies being thrown up against the rocky walls surrounding the road.

Grunts, and thuds made my little dark heart happy.

Slowing down, I turned to see their kicking growing weaker. I made a turn to get to a lookout that I knew no one knew about. It was one Reaper had taken me to for solitude.

One where he made me come so hard, I saw stars for nearly an hour later.

I got off the bike, and grabbed their chains, yanking them off my bike and dragging them toward me. Their bodies were heavy. Heavier than I thought possible, but with them not moving to help, it made sense.

Slowly, I pulled my gun out of the waistband of my skirt, waving it in their faces and ordered them to the lookout.

Tori went willingly, dragging her ass over as quickly as she could, which wasn’t quick at all.

She’d always been weak, always followed others, and gave fuel after manipulating people into thinking she liked them.

Fucking cunt.

Tee wouldn’t budge. Defiant even in the face of death.

“I don’t need to shoot you dead, I can shoot you in the foot, or the arm. Blast off a couple of fingers. Better yet, I could just shoot you, and let the animals come and feast on you until you eventually die.”

“Fuck you,” she said through gritted teeth. Blood poured from gashes all over her head, down into her eyes and mouth. I grabbed the chain, and yanked her toward the lookout, toward Tori. She barely put up a fight when I stood them up, even when they tried to fall to their knees.

“Any last words?” I asked, with a smile on my face, waving the gun around like I’d lost my damn mind. Maybe I had, maybe I never had one to begin with. Who the fuck cared? The world would be better off without these bitches.

“Very well,” I said, backing them up until they were at the ledge of the lookout. No one had come to fix the barrier Reaper and I had broken when he bent me over it to fuck some sense into me. And the world was better for it.

“Before you die, I just want you to know karma has a name, and that name is Rowan.”

I shoved both of them off the ledge, watching as they tried to scream out, and get out of their bindings as they fell into the water below. When I heard the splash, I knew they’d landed. There was no way they could thrash about in that running water with their hands bound.

No need to go and see. No one could survive that, especially not after what I’d done to get here.

Bye bitches. I had successfully taken out the trash.

Jumping back on the bike, I hightailed it home to my man, and what I knew was going to be a night of pure debauchery.
