Chapter 17
Hercules
Hey Wifey! Because you watched my game last night, I decided to do something artsy today for you.

Hercules
Ta-da! I took a pottery class early this morning before practice.
Lila
Oh…wow. Maybe you should stick with the hockey thing?
Hercules
Wifey, this is our love clay.
Lila
Our love might be doomed.
Hercules
I’ll get better!
Lila
You’re right. You will.
Hercules
Thank you for being delusional with me.
Lila
For better or for worse, right?
Lila
I was today years old when I learned that hockey players can lose eight pounds during one game.
Hercules
How do you think I stay so svelte? You called me Hercules for a reason, remember?
Hercules
Lila
It helped me understand how you guys eat so much.
Hercules
Well, except Matthews. He’s just a pig.
Lila
He’s reading this over your shoulder, isn’t he?
Hercules
Yes, and glaring.
Hercules
Did you see our marriage announcement?
Lila
Yes, we really stood out from the others in our special outfits.
Hercules
I already have about ten missed calls from my father, and it’s only noon.
Lila
Lila
I’ve been fielding a million questions from my friends at the Collective.
Hercules
I’ve gotta nap before our game tonight. But when I get home tomorrow, do you mind if I stop in and see you?
Lila
Yeah, that sounds good. Just ignore the dirty looks from the artists here…they’re not huge fans of the Fisher family and not thrilled with the idea of me being married to one of them.
Hercules
I’m sure they’ll all be Team Hercules by the time I’m done winning them over.
