Chapter 6 #2
Something dark flashed in his eyes. Before I could blink, he flipped us over, pinning me beneath him on the bed.
"Using me?" He thrust hard, making me cry out. "Let's see who's being used."
He pulled out almost completely, then slammed back in. Again. Again. Each thrust deeper, harder, hitting that spot inside me that made stars explode behind my eyes.
"Cedric!" My nails raked down his back.
"That's right. Say my name." He grabbed my thigh, hooking it over his shoulder, changing the angle. "Let everyone in this goddamn palace know who you belong to."
"I don't—oh god—belong to anyone!"
"Liar." He captured my mouth in a searing kiss, swallowing my moans. His hand slipped between us, fingers finding my clit.
Pleasure crashed through me in waves. I was close, so close.
"Not yet." Cedric pulled out suddenly. I whimpered at the loss.
He lifted me effortlessly and carried me to the vanity, sweeping everything off in one motion. Bottles and brushes clattered to the floor.
"What are you—"
He bent me over the table, my palms flat on the cool surface. In the mirror, I could see him behind me, eyes wild, chest heaving.
"I want you to watch," he growled, positioning himself at my entrance. "Watch me fuck you. Watch yourself fall apart on my cock."
He entered me in one brutal thrust. My back arched, pushing back against him.
"Look at you," he rasped, one hand fisting my hair, forcing my gaze to the mirror. "So desperate for it. For me."
The visual was obscene—my flushed face, mouth open in pleasure, breasts bouncing with each thrust. And Cedric behind me, powerful and relentless.
"Harder," I demanded. "If you're going to do this, then fucking do it properly."
His eyes flashed. Challenge accepted.
He pounded into me with renewed vigor, the table scraping against the floor. His free hand snaked around to toy with my nipples, pinching and rolling.
"You feel that?" His voice was ragged. "Feel how perfectly you take me? This cunt was made for my cock."
"Don't—flatter yourself!"
He laughed darkly and increased his pace. The sound of skin slapping skin filled the room, mixed with our harsh breathing and my increasingly desperate moans.
My legs started shaking. The coil in my belly wound tighter and tighter.
"Cedric, I'm going to—"
"Come for me, Alice. Come on my cock like the good little Queen you are."
The command, the possessiveness in his voice, the relentless stimulation—it all crashed over me at once.
I shattered.
My inner walls clenched around him, pulsing, as pleasure whited out my vision. I screamed his name, unable to stop myself.
"Fuck, yes," Cedric groaned. His rhythm faltered and became erratic. "Alice—"
He drove deep one final time and held there, spilling inside me with a guttural moan.
Then he collapsed on top of me. The room fell quiet except for our ragged breathing. I closed my eyes, feeling his warmth, emotions churning inside me.
With Mother's potion, I'd definitely conceive this time.
Baby, Mama's waiting for you. This time, I'll protect you.
"Alice..." Cedric's voice was rough, sated.
I didn't answer. I let exhaustion drag me under.
Cedric didn't speak again, but his arms tightened around me.
I woke in darkness. Only pale moonlight filtered through the window.
I turned my head. Cedric lay beside me, breathing steady, sound asleep. Carefully, I lifted his arm off me and sat up.
This was my chance. I could slip away under the cover of night. I took a breath and quietly dressed.
I pulled out the small pouch from my bundle—all the gold I'd saved over the years. Enough to survive for a long time.
I tucked it inside my dress and glanced back at Cedric. Still sleeping. No sign of waking.
Goodbye, Cedric. Or rather—farewell forever.
I moved to the door and gripped the handle, opening it slowly. My heart hammered.
I held my breath, peeking through the crack. The hallway was empty. Silent.
I slipped out and eased the door shut, hurrying down the corridor. Only wall sconces cast dim yellow light. My shadow stretched long on the walls. I pressed close to them, staying silent.
Footsteps around the corner. Patrol guards! My heart leapt. I ducked behind a pillar.
The footsteps faded. I exhaled and waited longer to be sure they were gone before emerging.
Through the long corridor, across the hall—my palms were slick with sweat.
Finally—the wall. Just over it, and I'd be out of the palace. I climbed the nearby tree and leapt onto the wall. The night wind hit my face. It smelled like freedom.
I dropped down the other side and ran toward the forest. Through those trees, I'd be beyond the palace grounds!
My lungs burned from sprinting, but I didn't stop. Dawn was coming. When Cedric woke and found me gone, he'd send guards. I had to be out before daybreak.
I didn't know how long I ran. Finally, I saw it. The white boundary line!
Cross that line, and I was free. Me and my baby—free. Tears spilled down my face.
But just steps away from the border—
"Alice!"
That familiar voice rang out behind me, more urgent and furious than I'd ever heard.
My body froze. Cedric had discovered my escape. He'd come after me!
I gritted my teeth and surged forward with everything I had.
"Alice! Stop right now!" His voice grew closer, along with pounding footsteps.
I didn't look back. I ran harder. But the instant I crossed the boundary—
Agony exploded in my chest. Like a hand reached inside and ripped my heart out. Like a thousand needles pierced my bones all at once.
"Ahh—" I screamed and collapsed.
My wolf howled in anguish inside me.
Pain I'd never experienced before, tearing me in half. Even my soul trembled. My vision blurred. Darkness swallowed me fast.
In the last moment before consciousness faded, strong arms caught me. Then Cedric's frantic voice, "Alice, what's wrong? You okay?"
