Chapter 15
CHAPTER
FIFTEEN
CHRYS
The drone drops off my order and I pull the container out, digging through the normal recurring items that were already on the list until I pull out what I added.
I set the turkey baster aside. I have no doubt it’s going to do its job… except this time around, I’m the turkey.
The chemistry kit is meant for kids, and I do feel a little bit bad about how I intend to repurpose it when I look at the bubbly faces on the box. I empty it and put it in the recycler immediately. I do not need cartoon characters judging me.
A heavy purr echoes through the room, and I look up as Kissu pushes Shock toward me. Any time he stops Kissu headbutts him, shoving him forward again.
“Apparently, you need me.”
“I do have a question,” But I don’t know how Kissu would have known that.
Shock looks from me to the turkey baster. I take a deep breath. “Will it work?”
His brows pinch and his eyes get that faraway look. “Yes.”
“Good.” I look past him to where the other two are arguing. “You have to help me convince him.”
Because I don’t need to be clairvoyant or read minds to know that Risk will go along with it, even if he doesn’t believe Shock.
Arc…
I don’t know what happened while he was outside, but he came back in a mood and the two of them have been arguing ever since.
Shock’s hand slips around my neck, pulling me to him and kissing me so sweetly. “It works. He’ll go along with it… I promise.”
I let out a shaky breath. “Thank the saints,” I whisper, smiling at him. When he releases me, I take my supplies to the dish slot.
Fingers crossed, I drop them in and a minute later, they pop out into the little space where things go when the system doesn’t know where to put them yet.
“Give me a second and I’ll come over to help convince him.”
Shock nods and lets me hurry past him with my arms full of supplies.
I grab a couple towels and set one on the bed before I spread the other one out on the nightstand and arrange my supplies in place.
Beaker, spoon, baster… I think that’s all I need.
I take a long, deep breath. Even if Shock said it’ll work… a sliver of doubt has slipped through the cracks of my mind and I wonder if this might be the time we find out it’s not a certainty.
But I need to be sure, or at least fake it while Arc can hear my thoughts.
It’s going to work. I look at myself in the window’s reflection. It has to work.
When I step out into the living room again, Arc turns to me and demands, “You need to bond to one of us tonight.”
I blink at him because… it’s a strange way to interpret my thoughts, but, “Okay.”
He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes. “You need to have that safety net. I don’t want to make you pick, but you have to.”
Risk and Shock curse, and when Arc pinches the bridge of his nose, I know I’m not the only one mentally scolding him.
“I’m not choosing.” He should already know that.
“Three of us are not going to fit. You have to choose.” He glances at the other two… he thinks it will be them. “I’m an asshole. No one can stand me. It makes the most sense for it to be one of them.”
I take hold of the front of his suit and pull him down to me. “What in the absolute chaos of my thoughts has led you to think I don’t want you just as much as I want them?”
“You can’t have all three of us.”
I can.
His brows pinch and his jaw tightens. “Chrys…”
“I want all three of you. Margot called me greedy, Jessica would call me foolish. I don’t care.
I know that it’s supposed to be the four of us.
Not me and one of you plus the other two.
Not three of us with one left out. The universe, the saints themselves gave you to me, I’m not going to spit in their faces by not taking all three of you. ”
When he starts to argue, I shake my head. “Women have bonded to multiple Sian men before.”
“Just because it worked with two…”
I raise my brows and he stops talking. “I don’t know the science behind it. I’ve never been one to particularly care about that. But what I do know is that it’s fluid related, and fluids mix.”
He blinks at me, and I can see him searching my thoughts for a clearer picture.
“You’re going to come in a cup, all three of you. I am going to mix that cum up thoroughly and we are going to make this bonding happen. It’s unorthodox, but damnit, I’m not going to settle. I shouldn’t have to. And neither should you.”
“What if it doesn’t work?”
I look past him to where Shock and Risk are quietly waiting. “My plan’s going to work, right?”
Risk dips his head in a single nod. “Yes.”
Shooting a ‘told ya so’ glance at Arc, I ask Shock, “And you’ve seen the four of us bonded, right?”
He nods too and Arc tenses, his brow ridges practically forming a single line, and I have a feeling Shock’s thoughts gave him more than even I thought to ask.
I take his hand, squeezing. “Eventually, all three of you will fit. I’m sure of that.”
The way Arc looks at the other two, I know they know it too. “But to make this work, we need to do things unconventionally to start.”
When his jaw firms like he’s going to refuse again, I ask, “Why are you fighting me? Even if you don’t believe me, giving in gets what you want. Me,” I stab him in the chest with my finger, “Bonded. Tonight.”
“I’m not fighting you.”
“You’re a horrible liar.”
But he doesn’t fight me when I lead the way into the bedroom.
He doesn’t try to run away when Shock and Risk hold his hands. He stands patiently, waiting.
I hold up the turkey baster and the chemistry beaker. “Please, Arc. Trust me. Trust us.”
He looks at the implements and his head twists, eyes narrowing in thought as I mentally run through the process.
Finally, he takes a deep breath and acquiesces, verbally, like I’ve asked for. “Okay.”
He doesn’t look like he believes me… but he doesn’t have to believe me. He just has to do what we tell him to, because this is going to work.
ARC
Despite what she’s said, Chrys isn’t sure this is going to work. But Shock and Risk are.
Shock, whose visions always come true.
Risk, who’s never been wrong when he’s told me he’s certain.
I’ve trusted them for as long as I can remember. And I promised myself I would give her anything and everything she wants.
She wants this. We all want this.
And she’s right: if it doesn’t work, I’ll still get my way.
Chrys looks at Risk and smiles. “I think you know what to do.”
Both he and Shock start to work on unsealing my suit.
I almost feel under siege. “I’m not the only one who has to be naked for this, you know.”
“We know.” Shock steps behind me, holding me still with his arms threaded under mine. “We aren’t the stubborn ones.”
Chrys watches with her lips pressed together, fighting a huge grin. I would tell her to go ahead and relish her triumph, but two other mouths distract me. Shock bites my ear, and Risk…
“Saints.” I drop my head back to Shock’s shoulder.
Pulling back from my cock with a long, slow suck, Risk chuckles. “Sorry.”
“No you’re not.”
He laughs at me in his mind and a moment later, he’s got my suit the rest of the way off, and I’m still the only one naked.
“Your turn,” I tell them, and Risk does start to remove his, but Shock doesn’t let me go. “It’s your turn too.”
I twist my head to look back at him, and he smiles at me. “I’ll get there soon enough.”
Kissing me, he finally releases me with one instruction. “Go keep our mate company while we finish.”
Chrys sits on the bed, biting her lip and waiting patiently.
At least… that’s what it looks like. Her thoughts zip around like a dozen ricocheting bullets.
She tucks her legs beneath her, going to her knees and walks herself to the edge of the bed. “Don’t you like giving me everything I want?”
“I thought we were giving me everything I want.”
She grins, not trying to hide it this time. “Tomato potato. Come here.”
I step to the edge of the bed and she wraps her arms around my neck. Lips brushing over mine, she murmurs, “Thank you for seeing it my way.” And then she kisses me, so soft and sweet.
The only thought in my head as she kisses me is: she’s ours.
I don’t know if it’s my thought, or one of theirs, but it’s true. I feel it in my soul.
My hands tremble as I take her head in my hands.
I can’t believe the saints gave her to us.
Her hands move behind my head, and Shock and Risk come close, wrapping their arms around us both.
When she eases back I let her go, and she looks at us ruefully. “I’m very sad I don’t get to play with you for this part.”
But she knows she’ll get to soon enough.
“First one’s for the cup,” she says, licking her lips, “but the second one is for me. Understand?”
“We understand.” My breath hitches, ruining the end of that word.
But I can’t be blamed for what happens when a hand wraps around my cock.
Risk turns me around, pushing me back to sit on the bed and going to his knees. “Let’s get you in that cup first.”
I watch him stroke me, flinching as the movement tries to short circuit my mind.
Shock disappears, but I can’t focus to find him as Risk pinches at the tip of me with his tongue.
He’s always been good at this. Slick and smooth, he works his way down onto me and tortures me with his thoughts, thoughts that wonder how much I’d like to switch back, thrust by thrust, from his mouth to her pussy.
He knows exactly what he’s doing when he thinks about licking my cock clean of her.
Pressure on my shoulder makes me look back at Shock… who’s gotten Chrys undressed while I was distracted.
He pulls me back and I lie down without hesitation as his thoughts reach my mind.
A moment later, those thoughts become reality as he helps Chrys straddle my face. She gasps as I take hold of her, even though she shouldn’t be surprised by how violently I want her.
I pour all my focus and need into devouring her pussy.
I want her so badly, I don’t even hear the others’ thoughts anymore. Need and desire have forced everyone else out of my head. All I can focus on is her and the throbbing impulse to skip ahead a few steps.
