Epilogue Two

REED

One Week later

“Alright, man, see you next weekend," Conner says as he locks the door to the tattoo shop and I mount my bike. I flick two fingers into the air, acknowledging him but not looking in his direction.

I take another drag of my cigarette before dropping it to the ground and snubbing it out, and check my tracker app.

Looks like my little Honeybee is waiting for me at home.

About ten minutes later I enter our apartment. The lights are off, and a soft glow of the TV shines from our bedroom.

I kick my socks and shoes off by the front entry and head towards my woman.

I feel so much better now that she’s moved in with me. It didn’t take much convincing, thank fuck. Now I get to go to sleep and wake up next to her every day.

Her blonde strands are sprawled out on her pillow and she’s curled up in the fetal position under the blanket.

“Honeybee,” I call out to her as I sit on the bed next to her.

“Hmm?” She whines.

“What’s wrong, baby?”

“I started my period earlier.”

Fuck. I look at the calendar on my phone. I should’ve known she was about to start already.

“I’ll run you a bath.” I kiss her forehead and stand to walk to the bathroom.

“Reed.” She says, her voice cracking. “My stupid heating pad quit working, and I’m almost out of tampons. Can you take me to the store?”

I brush her hair out of her face, “You just lay right here, and I will handle it.”

Her eyes well up with tears, “But, you’ve been gone all day and I don’t want you to leave me.”

Smirking, I pull my phone out, “I’m not going anywhere. I’ll just get it delivered, okay?”

She nods her head as a tear slips down her cheek and I wipe it away with my thumb. “I’m going to go start you a bath and put the order in. I’ll be right back.”

“Okay.” She whispers.

While I’m getting her bath ready with some Epsom salt, I put in an order for delivery.

Tampons, heating pad, those eye patch shits that she likes to put under her eyes, chocolate, two steaks, fixings for salad, garlic toast and some cut watermelon.

I decide last minute to order her some new pajamas and slippers.

I help her get undressed and in the tub.

“I wish you could get in with me.” She looks up at me with puppy dog eyes.

I quirk a brow, “Who says I can’t?”

“Uh, me.”

“And why is that?””

She scrunches up her nose, “Because I’m on my period and that’s gross.”

I shake my head, “Oh honeybee…”

The doorbell rings signalling my order is here.

“Hold that thought, I’ll be right back.”

I hand the guy a tip and unpack everything before heading back to her.

As soon as I hit the cold tile, I take my clothes off and chunk them to the side. “Scoot forward.” I tell her.

“Ewe, no Reed. You don’t want to get in here with me.” She shakes her head.

“I don’t give a fuck about period blood, baby. Scoot. Forward.”

She reluctantly listens and I slip in behind her. She lays her wet hair against my chest. “Did you already wash your hair?”

She shakes her head no.

I grab the shower head and turn it on. She moves her head to the side and I take my time lathering her blonde strands with shampoo then rinse and use some conditioner.

Then, I lather her body. When I get to her pussy she holds my hand still. “No, don’t do that.”

“Honeybee, I told you a little period blood doesn’t matter.”

“But I’m cramping and I feel gross.”

“Well, for one we are in the bath. Easy clean up. And for two, I was doing some research and found an article that says sex helps with cramps.”

She turns her head up to look at me, “You did… research?”

I smirk at her, “I always do research on everything.”

LEXIE

It took a bit of convincing, but I finally caved and rode Reed in the tub.

His research was correct; it did feel good for my cramping and the blood was like lube, so I was extra slick.

Afterwards, I made him wash us off in the shower because washing off in period blood and cum filled water did not sound fun.

Currently, I’m laid up in bed with a book, my new pajamas, and a heating pad that he ordered me, while he’s cooking us dinner.

I honestly don’t know how I got so lucky with finding a man like him. Well, technically, he saw me one time and might’ve stalked me a bit, but it turned out to be the best thing to happen to me. Not many people can say that after being in a situation like that.

After the night at the frat party, I haven’t run into Johnny anymore, at least not in person.

His face was plastered all over the news for a while, but I don’t think they ever figured out what happened to him.

I always wondered if Reed might have had something to do with that, but I never questioned him because I’m safe and that's all that matters.

I’m lost in thought when Reed walks in with my plate of food and a glass of my favorite wine.

I sit up, and he sets the plate in my lap and the glass on the table beside me.

“Oh, this looks amazing. You even cut up my steak for me.” I smile up at him.

He leans over and kisses my forehead, “Anything for my Honeybee.”

He climbs in bed next to me with his plate and flips on the TV to The Sopranos. He knows the way to my heart, that’s for sure.

“Oh fuck, did you want to smoke? It’ll probably help with your cramps.” He asks, but doesn’t even give me a chance to answer before he sets his plate down and is out of bed flicking the fan on.

He digs in our now shared box and pulls out the Pink Lemonade joint that Lainey gave to me.

Cracking the window open, he lights it and takes a couple of puffs before blowing it out the window then holding it to my lips.

I quickly inhale and exhale a couple times.

“Why are you always so good to me?” I ask him as I pop a cherry tomato in my mouth.

He sits back down, and tilts my chin towards his lips, “You’re my oxygen, the air I breathe, without you I shall die.” He smirks.

I roll my eyes and smile at him, “That’s a bit dramatic, but sweet.”

He presses a kiss to my lips, “I love you, my sweet Honeybee.”

“I love you too, sweet man.”
