6. ANGUS
Chapter six
ANGUS
After visiting with North and South, I made sure to tell Eion how excited I was to meet the bear cubs. If I had known giving the man baked goods would get me bear cuddles—well, probably not cuddles—I would have doubled up on what I brought him.
When I didn’t find my boys in their cage, I had a little freak-out.
His reassurance that they were in the nursery was such a relief.
It was natural to go to him—not sure how that became a thing.
What surprised me was that he actually pulled me tighter, and it was perfect.
I pulled away first, which I regret because I wouldn’t mind if we were still standing there.
Eion felt so good in my arms. I loved that his body was hard from shoulders to thighs—and I was sure there was something quite significant in the middle.
While he held me, I felt safe, which was a rare thing for me.
Now, I was addicted and couldn’t wait for it to happen again.
Eion had a quirkiness about him that made me want to know more.
It was the way he seemed to try to keep me at arm’s length, but then showed me little glimpses of his squishy underside.
As I worked my shift, thoughts about the man I seemed more attracted to every day went through my head, and by the time I left for home, my brain had moved into much naughtier thoughts.
Once I climbed into bed, there was no way I would fall to sleep since thoughts of the sexy vet had me rock hard.
With my eyes closed, an image of him was easy to conjure up.
He had dark hair and eyes, and he always had a bit of a scowl, but I’d seen the corners of his lips turn up, and it was sexy.
I was determined to get a full smile from him one day, and I already knew how it would affect me.
My shaft moved at the thought, and I squeezed myself.
Then I rubbed my thumb up and down the sensitive underside; a bead of precum formed at the tip, and then it slid down the head.
A soft moan escaped. My wish was to have him there, touching me.
I knew Eion’s hands would be gentle but somewhat rough from all the work he did outside.
Another bead formed at the tip as I stroked myself.
The fluid dribbled down my shaft, and I used it as lubrication.
I imagined how he would feel under my palms, and it wasn’t only his cock I wanted to feel.
The idea of running my hands over his chest and down his abs made me throb.
I wondered what I would find under his shirt: would he have a lot of chest hair, would there be a solid line to his cock, or only a whisper of fuzz?
These thoughts only made me ache more as I ran my hand over the taut skin of my erection.
I knew if I had the chance, I would take him in hand and make him crumble for me.
I’d stroke his length while I teased the slit.
I longed to drop to my knees for him and let him use my mouth.
An unexpected lightning bolt ran through my body.
When it hit my groin, I exploded. Pulse after pulse covered my chest, and the intensity was almost too much.
I had come a lot harder than usual, only thinking about getting on my knees for the sexy vet.
I knew I would be having more fantasies as I was around him more.
What would happen if I thought about him fucking me? I might die.
Completely satisfied, I cleaned myself up before I returned to bed.
Eion had become a situation. I wasn’t certain it was a bad problem, but one I needed to further examine and maybe put away.
Apparently, logic wasn’t going to rule here, as I thought about what treat I would make him next.
I hoped maybe he would see me as more than the strange guy who dropped off some raccoon kits.
“You’ve been smiling a lot the last few weeks. What’s that about?” West asked me while I looked over security tapes from the night before.
“Have I?”
He rolled his eyes. “Not going to work, Angus. You know I’m right. Don’t try to pretend you haven’t.”
“I guess? I’ve been visiting the raccoons every other day, and there are tons of amazing animals at the Sanctuary. They make me happy.”
He didn’t say anything, just waited for me to say more. When I didn’t, he sighed. “And?”
“I like raccoons?” I hoped that answer was enough for him to drop it, but I should have known better.
“Angus, we have been friends for years now. I know the things that make you smile like that. So who is he?”
At that moment, I loved and hated my friend.
When someone knows you so well, there is no way to hide, and my crush on Eion apparently showed.
“I might like visiting the man who takes care of the raccoons.” I could feel my blush.
There had been a few men I’d been interested in since becoming friends with West, but never had I found it difficult to talk about.
“Angus!? Holy shit, you’ve got it bad.” He grinned at me and laughed a little.
There wasn’t much I could do but embrace the truth.
He was right; I did have it bad, and until now, I didn’t even realize it.
It wasn’t something I couldn’t really explain because my mind and heart wanted to know Eion more intimately.
His quiet nature, how he genuinely listened when we talked, those tiny smiles I sometimes got, and the way he cared for the residents at the Sanctuary.
Those animals were his entire life, and he clearly loved each of them.
All of those things not only touched my heart but turned me on.
This wasn’t the time to get aroused, but I found it more difficult to keep my attraction under control.
Thinking about how cute he was when he petted North and South made my heart do a little leap, and my cock wouldn’t be left out.
“Maybe?!” My voice betrayed my feelings by rising as I said the word.
“He is really nice, and I don’t know him very well, but he invited me to meet the baby bears on Saturday. ”
“He has cubs? That’s.” He snorts. “I’ve never seen you like this. Happy and shy all at once. When do we get to meet him? As your best friend, I believe it’s up to me to give him the shovel talk.”
“I don’t think we are there yet. Please don’t scare him away, but I will try to get us together if it becomes a thing.
” I wasn’t sure how Eion would do in this environment, but I knew my friends were protective of me and would treat him kindly as well.
It was easy for me to admit I wanted to get to know him better, and inviting him into my world would do that.
It wasn’t long before West had told Spark about my crush. “I hear you are cute and giddy over an animal guy,” Spark said to me while they stood next to me at the front door.
I couldn’t stop my cheeks from getting red as they nudged me a little bit.
Spark was a close friend, and like West, I wasn’t able to hide much from them.
“Yeah. I guess.” I hoped I could be evasive.
Like with West, I didn’t want to share Eion yet.
What was building between us felt delicate, and for now, I wanted to keep it to myself.
“Look at you all shy and blushing. When you are ready to tell me about him, I’m here to listen.”
I gave them a hug, and they gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I never expected to have people in my life who loved me unconditionally.
West befriended me when he started working at the bar we came from.
Then Spark joined us, and we became a trio that stuck together.
Years later, we were still great friends—actually family.
“Thanks. I hope something comes of it. I really like him.” I couldn’t help but smile.
I knew we would see the cubs on his next full visit, which made me do a little dance.
Spark didn’t miss it. “What was that?”
“Just a little happy dance,” I said as I motioned for the next person in line.
When I left for the day, West stopped me. “Don’t forget we have a meeting before we open tomorrow.”
“I’ll be here.” I planned to get dressed for work before going to the Sanctuary. That would let me spend as much time as possible with them.
The following morning I left wearing a red corset with a filigree pattern, black jeans, boots, pants, and a red tie with a black blazer.
I sighed contentedly as I soaked in the feeling of the tight laces of the corset squeezing me.
The binder accentuated my body in all the right ways.
I felt good, sexy, and in control. Even though I had learned I was an amazing man without the corsets, I didn’t see a time when I would give them up.
I was running behind, but I still had time to see the kits and drop off some sweets for Eion.
It amazed me how much the little raccoons had already grown.
Even though they were still on bottles, I would swear they had doubled in size.
I made sure to put Eion’s treats in my backpack, plus a double batch of granola treats for the animals.
I hated that I would only get ten or fifteen minutes with them, but I would be back on my day off and give them double love.
When I entered the Sanctuary, I had about twenty-five minutes before I needed to head to the bar.
In the nursery, Eion was squatting in front of one of the cages, and my chest squeezed as my heart beat harder.
Unable to help myself, I looked at his back, the t-shirt he wore stretched in all the right places—even though it tugged to one side—the muscles flexed as he stood up, and my eyes traveled to his amazing ass. When he turned around, I smiled.
“Fucking hell.” I was pretty sure he staggered, or maybe he didn’t have very good balance after he stood up.
“Hi.” He looked at me, then looked away, then looked at me again.
I watched as he licked his lips and swallowed.
It was difficult for me to decide where to look.
Everything in me yelled that this should feel weird and awkward, but it didn’t—it was charged and exciting.
I lifted my hand and waved a little. When the corners of his lips turned up, it encouraged me to say something.
“I brought more treats for everyone. It’s a double batch this time.
Most of the residents you keep here will really enjoy them.
If you tell me what else they might like, I would be happy to make the appropriate flavor.
Unless you don’t want more treats for the animals, but I really enjoy making them.
I think you like that I make them. Do you like me making them?
Maybe I shouldn’t make them. You’ve never said, “Don’t make them.
” It seemed like making them something fresh would be great—“
“Angus, stop.” He said softly. “The treats are marvelous, and the animals all love them.” I liked that his eyes dilated before he swallowed hard.
He looked everywhere but at me: my face, throat, eyes, lips, then chest, until he started over.
“Angus, it’s…” His voice sounded strained and a few octaves higher than normal.
“Are you okay?” He blinked rapidly. It was like he couldn’t look directly at me.
It made me wonder if someone was behind me, so I looked.
We hadn’t said anything since my rambling, and my question hung in the air.
“Eion?” I was actually starting to feel concerned that he was having a medical emergency.
“What?”
“Are you okay?”
He blinked. “Do you know how you look right now?”
I looked down at myself. “Yeah. I have to go straight to work from here.”
“I mean, do you know… how. You. Look?”
“Eion? Do I need to call an ambulance or something?”
He’d seen me before, so I wasn’t sure what he was trying to say. What I did know was that he was staring at me like I was his favorite meal. Overall, I liked his attention, but I was still confused by his behavior at the moment.
“Angus. You. Fuck.”
My lips tugged upward, unable to keep myself from smiling. It felt like he was trying to compliment me, and it made blood flood south. Could it be that Eion was attracted to me? Oh, I hope that was what was happening. “Thank you. You aren’t terrible to look at yourself.”
He blushed and ran his hand over his face. It was cute. “Sorry. Angus, you are really hot.” He dropped his head. “Shit. Sorry. I shouldn’t have said that.”
This was good. Apparently, my work clothes, which I knew looked good, did something for him.
It would probably be too obvious if I wore them all the time, but maybe I could get him to go out with me, and I’d wear a corset in his favorite color.
My mind wandered to thoughts of him lacing me up, and my cock thickened.
I made a little gasp.“It’s okay. You like what you see, then? ”
I watched as he relaxed a little. “Yeah. I do.”
I left his words hanging and pulled out the treats I’d made for him. “I’ve been making you sweets, but I figured you might like something a little different. Dried fruit?”
He grinned at me, and I liked how it looked. “Wow. You spoil me. I like the sweet treats, but this is probably a good change.”
“Good. How are the boys?”
“Great.” He looked at me shyly. “Are you still interested in meeting the bears the next time you come?”
I smiled. “Yes. For sure.”
“I wondered. Well, I was going to ask even before you came in here looking like that.” He motioned his hands up and down. “Would you be interested in maybe a picnic over in the deer enclosure? If you want, we could watch the fawns? Have a meal?”
My heart was doing somersaults in my chest. “Yes. Definitely. Would be neat. Like a date? Probably not a date. Could be a date.” He cocked his head, and I stopped talking.
“Okay.” Then he walked out of the room.
