Chapter 12 #2
McKenna quickly scrambled from the floor. Before she could reclaim her previous position, Tank reached for the button on her jeans, managing to get her completely naked in seconds.
She climbed back onto his lap, reclaiming his cock. Lifting, she guided him to her opening, then slid down slowly, shuddering with pleasure as she took him all the way inside.
Tank gripped her hips, and his head fell back against the couch cushions as he moaned low in this throat.
She started to lift once more, needing all the friction, but Tank’s fingers tightened and he held her in place, not allowing her to move.
“Tank,” she complained, trying to peel his fingers away.
“Condom,” he said, through gritted teeth. “We forgot the condom.”
Oh.
“I’m on the Pill,” she said.
“I’ve never taken a woman without a condom.”
“If you’d prefer to—”
She didn’t finish her sentence before Tank put his grip on her hips to good use, lifting her and pulling her back down with enough force that she squealed, her pussy muscles clenching in a way that said her first orgasm wasn’t going to take long to come.
“Yes!” she hissed, when he lifted her again. This time, she was the one slamming back down. They set their pace quickly, McKenna rising and falling, taking him deeper with each pass.
Tank pulled her toward him several times, stealing hard kisses as they fucked.
A dozen strokes in, McKenna fell apart, trembling in Tank’s arms as she came.
“Tank!” she cried out, the pleasure so intense it almost hurt.
His hands found their way to her ass, cupping the globes while holding her in place, his cock buried deep.
“Fuck, that feels…” Tank was still talking through clenched teeth, and she could tell he was fighting hard to keep from coming himself.
“We have all night,” she said, when she finally managed to catch her breath. She fell forward, resting her forehead on his shoulder.
“We have forever,” he said, correcting her.
She smiled as she lifted her head. “You’re right. We do. So you don’t have to pace yourself.”
Tank clearly didn’t need to be told twice, and that was when she realized just how close to the brink he was. He grasped her hips again, dragging her up and down his cock half a dozen more times before he exploded, calling out her name, sheer bliss on his face.
She’d never really seen his expression when he came—primarily because she was always too blinded by her own pleasure.
“I honestly didn’t think you could get any hotter,” she murmured, blown away by how utterly sexy he was when in the throes of a climax.
Tank cracked one closed eyelid open, just a little bit, while giving her that cocky grin that used to drive her crazy, but now…
Well, it still drove her crazy, but in a much better way.
Tank closed his eyes again, tucking McKenna against his chest, the two of them cuddling in the aftermath.
She longed for this part of their sexual routine as much as the physical act.
She loved the way he always held her afterward, placing soft kisses on the top of her head while whispering the sweetest words she’d ever heard.
Words like beautiful, perfect, even sexy.
Tonight, he added the word love, and she swore if not for his arms holding her down, she could fly.
After a few minutes, Tank broke the silence. “I’m going to go too fast, Mouse. I see where this is going, and I’m going to be impatient as hell to get us there.”
She lifted her head. “What do you mean?”
“I’m currently sitting here trying to decide if you should move in with me, or if I should come live here with you. I’m even planning a quick trip to the hardware store before workouts tomorrow to buy packing boxes and tape.”
She giggled. “Yeah, that is too fast.”
“I’ve spent a lifetime telling myself I didn’t want this yet, but I can see now I just hadn’t wanted it with anyone who came before. You’ve got me rearranging all my priorities and plans for the future.”
McKenna didn’t hate the sound of that. She’d dated Eddie for a full year, and every time she suggested they move in together, he insisted it was too soon.
At the time, she’d thought he was being smart, making sure they were truly ready before they took the next step.
In hindsight, she could see he’d always been hesitant about making a real commitment to her.
Tank wasn’t suffering from the same problem. Which wasn’t as scary as it should be.
“I like that you see me in your future.”
“You’re not just in it, Mouse. You are it. So what do you think? Your place or mine?”
She shook her head. “You’re crazy.”
“Never denied that,” he shamelessly replied.
“Tell you what, why don’t we use Benny’s timeline? We’ll keep dating through the rest of the season and the summer, and we can revisit the living-together idea when training camp starts next year.”
“I’ll agree to the timeline, if you agree that we don’t revisit the idea. We enact it.”
McKenna thought she should argue the point, but she didn’t really want to. “Okay.”
“Okay,” he repeated excitedly. “Which place? Or should we just give up both and choose a new home together?”
She laughed. “Your place,” she replied. “It’s bigger than this one, with a hell of a lot better parking. It’s on the waterfront. And we’d be paying a mortgage, not rent. That’s a much smarter way to go.”
“The condo’s paid for,” he said. “So it’s already ours.”
She loved the way he used the pronoun ours.
“I’m glad you want to live there,” Tank continued. “I’d hate to move too far away from our boat.”
She blinked a few times. “You have a boat?”
He chuckled. “We have a boat. It’s docked at a marina a couple blocks down from our condo.”
“Ours, huh? I like the sound of that.”
Tank kissed her cheek. “So do I.”
Then it occurred to her, they’d been having this whole conversation with his dick still tucked inside her.
She started to move, but Tank tightened his grip on her ass. “Hold on,” was all he said, before he stood up. McKenna hastily wrapped her arms around his shoulders, her legs around his waist, giggling when he turned and carried her upstairs.
Of course, the giggling quickly gave way to moans, because Tank’s cock grew harder inside her with every step they took toward her bedroom.
By the time they reached her bed, he was fully erect and stretching her oh so tightly.
Tank placed her on the mattress on her back, coming over her. He kissed her. Just one long, slow, sensual kiss. And then he took her again, thrusting into her like a man possessed.
Which suited her just fine, because she’d never felt this wild and wicked and wanton.
“God!” she cried out, her orgasm striking hard.
Not that Tank acknowledged it. He fucked her through that one and straight into the next as McKenna saw literal stars. She’d blacked out the first time they had sex, and idiot that she was, she figured that was just a fluke, the result of a too-long abstinence.
Now, she was starting to think the blackouts might become a regular thing.
She gripped his shoulders tightly, gasping for air. Her body was on system overload, her pussy clenching over and over, her clit tingling out of control as Tank reached down to stroke it. She wasn’t sure she could survive another orgasm, but it didn’t look like Tank was going to give her a choice.
“I can’t…take…” she said, gasping. “Too much. Too goo—” The last word was cut off by a scream—God, she hoped her neighbors didn’t call the cops—as she came again.
Mercifully, Tank was with her this time, groaning out her name, his spine rigid as he pumped even more cum inside her.
Inside her.
And for a split second, she saw the two of them making a baby.
Not that motherhood was something she wanted right away. She was only twenty-four, after all. But there was something very exciting about the idea of having a baby with Tank, so she let that dream play out behind her closed eyes.
When her eyelids fluttered open, she realized Tank was watching her.
“You see it too,” he said, his voice gruff. “Our future.”
She nodded. “I do.”
“So we move in together in August,” he said. “And I’m thinking a Christmas wedding. My mother would have loved that. And then—”
“Next Christmas?” she asked, trying not to laugh at his childlike enthusiasm. Clearly, she was going to have to be the adult about this relationship.
“Of course. And then…” This time he paused, making it obvious he wanted her to fill in the next blank.
She knew she shouldn’t encourage this, but damn if she wasn’t just as impatient.
She didn’t have a clue why she was so certain this thing with Tank would last. Of all her past boyfriends, he should feel like the riskiest one to plan a future with.
And yet, she didn’t have a single doubt about him or them.
“And then,” she said softly, “we make a family.”
Tank smiled a lot, and McKenna seriously thought she’d seen all his smiles—the cocky ones, the smirks, the silly ones, and the softer kind he offered her after sex.
But the one he flashed at her when she mentioned their family was by far the brightest and best of all.
