Chapter 32

Alisha

O ne drink turned into two, and then by the third one, I felt very warm and fuzzy. I also felt much more relaxed and I let out a soft giggle as I moved my body to the music, with Ophelia and Mira dancing beside me. I think Felix had gone to the toilet or something. Hoped he’d come back so I could ravage him.

Mira was so sweet, and I felt like I could talk to her about anything. She was so much fun, just like Ophelia.

Wow, I needed to sit down. I was starting to get double vision.

“Just gonna get some water,” I said, letting out a hiccup that I’d held onto for dear life. Ah, good release. But I was searching for a different kind of release in comparison to that.

“Might take you up on that, c-could you get some for me and Lia please?” Mira requested politely.

“T-totally. Go find a table and I’ll meet you there.” I hobbled on my feet, trying to walk in a straight line toward the bar where bottled water was waiting for me. I was thankful they offered that. I bumped into a tall figure on my way and I knew who it was due to the scent and clothes he was wearing.

I became a lovesick puppy around him and I loved it. I loved this version of me. Alisha 2.0 has awakened. And she ain’t going back.

“Sweetheart, are you okay?” Felix looked concerned, but he didn’t need to be. I knew he worried, he was an anxious person like I was so I understood.

“Just getting some water for the girls. Come with me as I need to hold onto somebody.” I let out a shaky laugh before hooking my arm through Felix’s own. His sexy muscular arms. Wanted him to pin me down with them later.

“Are you having a good time?” Felix guided us toward the bar, where a few people were waiting. I noticed the man that had caught Mira’s attention earlier was there again and he’d hardly taken his eyes off of her. He seemed interested but hadn’t plucked up the courage to go up to her. Maybe he needed a little push.

No, don’t go there. Especially with Felix here. That’s his sister. Don’t meddle.

My inner self was right so I bit down on my tongue and listened. So glad I had some control, even with being quite drunk.

“Soooo good,” I drawled, leaning into Felix’s touch. Eventually the barman, who stood at six feet tall and had a permanent crooked smile on his face, asked what we wanted and raised one eyebrow when we requested just water. He didn’t say anything though and grabbed three bottles of still water from the fridge.

“Nothing for you?” I asked my handsome man who shook his head.

“If I have any more drinks, I’ll keep peeing,” Felix chortled and the image of his penis flashed through my mind. I welcomed it as it was a perfect penis indeed.

The barman whose name I had worked out was Bastiaan took my card payment and then we said thank you to him before walking back over to the girls. They were losing themselves to the music and I would have joined them but my body was telling me it was tired.

I didn’t know the time as my phone battery died but I assumed it was about one or two in the morning. I hadn’t stayed out this late for a long time.

Man, I was going to feel groggy for my lesson in the morning.

“Water for you.” I passed the bottles to Ophelia and Mira who looked ready to down them quickly.

“Thanks so much. I’m starting to feel sick so this should help.” Mira twisted the bottle cap and took a few gulps. All three of us were satisfied once we had some water in our system and it wasn’t long before the girls were tired like me.

“Definitely going to come here again. I didn’t manage to speak to that guy though.” Mira looked disappointed and to be honest, I thought the guy would have approached her after his longing stares. It reminded me a little of when Felix first met me. It seemed like a lifetime ago.

“Well, there’s still time. He must be somewhere,” I said. If Mira felt like it was worth it, she could go for it. We’d obviously be a few metres away from her but not far from her sight to keep an eye on her.

“Nope, it’s okay. If it’s meant to be, I’ll bump into him somewhere. Or maybe he’ll come into the hospital with a problem. Who knows? Let’s go home.” Mira offered us a smile, letting us know it was fine.

“So, who’s going where tonight? Alisha to Felix? Or Felix to Alisha? Mira, you’re welcome to stay over, there is a spare room,” Ophelia offered and Mira pondered on this before accepting.

“Well, in that case, I’ll go to Felix’s,” I said. I didn’t want to make it uncomfortable for Mira, knowing her brother was in the room opposite possibly fucking my brains out. Well, I hoped there was no possible about it. I wanted him as soon as we got through his door.

“Good call.” Ophelia winked. I still felt a little fuzzy and with Felix holding onto my waist, we walked to where the taxis were waiting.

“Okay, so see you in the morning,” I said to my friend, pressing a kiss to her smooth cheek. “Goodnight, big brother.” Mira leaned up to embrace Felix, her petite frame being enveloped by his big arms. I loved the relationship they had and now knowing Felix’s backstory, I was grateful they had one another to get through that heart wrenching, difficult time. I didn’t know how they managed to but they did. I have a newfound respect for the pair of them.

Going with Felix to meet his mother would probably be a little awkward, for both of them. But it was the kind of closure Felix needed, since clearly he was carrying a lot of demons. He seemed to still care about her, even if he didn’t want to admit it. I think human beings would always have that curious side to ourselves.

I’d be happy to come along and let them do the talking. I’d be polite and if Felix needed me to, I’d say how great he was and all the wonderful things he had achieved growing up. But only if he wanted me to. I thought it was sweet he even asked me to come along. It meant that whatever was happening between us was more than just lust.

The journey back to Felix’s was quite quick, since there was no traffic on the road. I almost fell asleep until Felix gently shook me on the shoulder, telling me that we’d arrived.

“Want me to carry you, sweetheart?” Felix teased as somehow my legs wouldn’t move. But I needed to stay awake. Not when all night I’d been thinking of mind blowing sex with Felix.

“No. I’m okay,” I said before paying the driver. I beat Felix to it this time.

We hustled inside the door once the taxi driver had driven off and I unfastened my shoes quickly, as they were starting to hurt. Once again, I didn’t have any clothes with me but I loved wearing whatever Felix owned. I loved wearing his scent.

“Come on, let’s get you some sleep. You looked exhausted.” Felix slipped his warm hand into mine and I let out a yawn, somehow not being able to communicate verbally.

Felix’s bed was so comfortable, I dived right into it. But then I realised I still had this dress on. So I slipped it off, exposing my bare upper body. No bra tonight.

“Sweetheart, are you trying to tempt me?” Felix laid down next to me, having taken off his own shirt and trousers. He was wearing nothing except his grey boxers. I admired his sculpted chest and the way his biceps flexed as he moved.

“Not at all. Do you have a shirt I could borrow?” I asked in a slightly sheepish tone. Felix got up to ransack through his chest of drawers before pulling out a dark blue T-shirt. I took this gratefully from him and quickly put this on so I could lay my head down on Felix’s pillows again.

So, so tired, but Felix looks so good right now….

“We don’t have to do anything tonight. Let’s go to sleep. You need to be refreshed for your lesson.” Felix nudged his nose against my neck which sent shivers down my spine. He was right, of course.

“Alriiiiight. Goodnight, handsome.” I cocooned into his embrace and sighed into his chest. I knew I’d fall asleep in seconds, I felt safe with him and his bed was so soft too. But before I could slip away into dreamland, I could just about make out what he said next.

“I’m falling for you.”
