22. Chapter Twenty Two

Chapter Twenty Two

Sunny

Ihum to myself as I fiddle with my outfit. I know that Elias loves me in my little sundresses, and this milkmaid dress makes my boobs look like they defy gravity.

“Holy shit girl, you could take an eye out with those,” Mercy says, stepping up behind me and into view in the mirror I’m admiring the girls in.

“Elias is going to lose his mind,” I cackle.

“He sure is, girl.” Trinity grins as she sprays setting spray in my face.

All the clubhouse girls are helping me get ready for the big day.

Vera offered to bake the cake, Trinity and Diamond did my hair and makeup.

I need this shit to stick and everyone knows that strippers and whores know how to keep their makeup flawless.

Even Bubbles to the very end. Not a mascara smear in sight.

I should have probably asked her for the brand.

“You do know this isn’t a wedding, right?” Mercy asks and I’m so glad she’s here to offer me moral support.

“Mercy, my sweet summer child,” I coo, “Being an ol lady is like being a wife in bikerworld.”

“I’m pretty sure I told you that,” she says drily.

“You’re the best teacher.” She rolls her eyes but that doesn't stop her lip twitching.

“Are you nervous?” Diamond asks.

“Hell no! I knew five years ago that Revenant was mine. Finally I get to give him his property patch.”

“You know it’s usually the other way round, right?”

“Mercy,” I give her a bored look. “You know as well as I do that Revenant would still be crying in his room about God being mean to him and making him live a long, healthy life if I hadn’t come along.

So, be happy that instead of hearing his sad man tears from across the hall you get to hear him giving me orgasms.” I grin. “So. Many. Orgasms.”

“You’re ridiculous.” Mercy shakes her head.

“Yup.”

The door flying open bounces off the wall and I’m met with two more of my favorite men.

“Yo, you ready?” Brake calls, hovering in the doorway, along with my dad.

“Fuck yes!”

Everyone laughs as I hustle to my dad, looping my arm in his. He grins down at me, squeezing my hand as he escorts me down the long hall, pausing at the top of the stairs, letting me soak it all in. Elias stands at the bottom, hand over his heart, beaming.

“It’s like fucking prom night,” Ledger mutters and I throw my head back on a laugh.

It kinda is, but this time it’s not Cody Peterson with his acne and his braces escorting me. It’s my big, hot biker man.

We descend the stairs slowly, my chest puffed out so Elias can get the full titty effect of this dress.

“Holy shit, baby!”

“Right!?” I launch myself the last few steps.

Elias catches me, because of course he does. “You ready for this, Sassy?”

“Are you?” I challenge.

“I know I am. Can we get this moving along?” Gallows says gruffly.

I snort, grip Elias’ hand and drag him into the common room where I demanded our biker vows take place, freezing when I get a look at the room.

“Holy crapballs,” I whisper, eyes wide, taking it all in.

“What happened in here? Where are the stripper poles?” I ask, turning in a circle.

“And that coffee table with the cigarette burns? And the cum-stained couches?” My voice is rising and I can’t tell if it’s from excitement or because I’m appalled.

“VP decided you needed a better location for this…whatever this is. Usually the brother gives you his cut and we call it a day. Shit, I don’t know. Ask Mercy.” Gallows indicates his sister.

Mercy shuffles a little, before waving it off. “You’re cool.” She shrugs, as if we aren’t on the highway to become BFFs. “And I kinda got sick of sitting in cum puddles all the time. These leather couches are easier to clean.”

I throw myself at Mercy, wrapping her in my arms. “You’re the best and deserve all the good things. Thank you.” I whisper, giving her a quick, sharp squeeze before backing off.

Gallows lets out a loud whistle and all the brothers stomp and clap when Revenant pulls me to the front, tucking me under his arm.

“Sunny,” Gallows begins. “Most people would’ve looked at Rev and walked the other way. Not you. You saw his burden, and stayed anyway. That shows how fucking strong you are,” he smiles a little, “and how crazy.”

“Nah, Prez, she showed that when she tried to take on Amos Crowe!” Someone from the back yells and the room cheers.

“I’d do it again, too!” I call out over the noise.

I jerk forward when Elias’ hand swats my ass. “No, you fucking won’t, Sassy.”

I grin up at him for a moment, before my gaze settles first on the club brothers and the girls, then my parents and siblings and then Gallows.

“Sunny, thank you for carrying the weight of Revenant’s burden with him.” Gallows holds my gaze a moment before he winks. He turns to Mercy who hands him a box with a giant, yellow bow on top.

I take it in both hands, turning to Elias who bites his lips, trying to hide his amusement.

“Elias, with the power vested in me, I pronounce you Property of Sunny.” I hand him the box as the brothers laugh and Ledger puts his fingers in his mouth to whistle. Brave choice considering they were just inside Trinity’s ass but hey ho.

Elias carefully removes the lid of the box, pulling out his cut, the one that I made him hand over to Vera for her to add my property patch. I giggle when he oohs and ahhs over it, hamming it up for the club. I can’t believe this is the same man who I would wait for in my father’s church.

My dad’s gaze catches mine and he mouths, “You did good.” I beam at him, blinking back a tear as I mouth back, “You too.” I have no doubt that without my father Revenant wouldn’t be standing here with me today.

His burdens would have crushed him under their weight.

They’re still there, but not as heavy as they once were.

“Sunny, fuck. I have no idea what the hell I did other than step foot into your church that day, but one look at you and I knew that things would never be the same.” He pauses a moment, cupping my cheek and I lean further into his warmth, his strength.

“Did I think I’d end up with an Ol Lady who loves to make shit ten times harder than it needs to be?

Not at all. But, well, God works in mysterious ways.

” I waggle my brows at him. “Sunny, will you accept my cut as a symbol of not only my love for you but of my promise to protect and serve you the best I can?”

“Hells yeah!” I fist pump. “Mercy, hand it over before he changes his mind!” Mercy does away with the box, instead holding my cut open for me to slip my arms into.

The butter soft leather slips over my shoulders, the words “Property of Revenant” settling on my back and everything feels right in my world.

“Fucking beautiful,” Elias growls before taking my mouth.

“Welcome to the Saint’s, Sunny,” Gallows says, dipping his chin.

Ledger stamps his feet and the club join him by banging their fists on the bar or just letting rip with whistles and shouts of congratulations. Brake shoves Elias before pulling me into his arms, crushing me for a moment before pushing me back into Elias’s arms.

“Let’s party!”

Revenant

I’m feeling a little dusty as I walk into church, taking my usual seat.

Last night got a little wild after Sunny's claiming ceremony. The brothers cut loose, as did the good pastor’s family.

By the time I left, Sunny's brothers were in an arm wrestling match with some of my club brothers and her little sister Goldie was hustling Brake at the pool table.

A large hand lands on my shoulder, pulling a groan from me. “Brother, don’t know what you’re moaning for, you left the party early,” Hollow says, groaning as he gingerly sits beside me.

I eye him for a moment. “What the hell happened to you? Why are you moving like that?”

“Tried something new with Diamond,” he mumbles.

“Aw shit, brother, I been there,” Brake says, looking better than I’ve seen him in a while. “I made that mistake once. Couldn’t sit down for almost a week.”

I stare between the two, then decide it’s none of my business. Brake takes a seat, then a really long pull of some smoothie looking shit. The straw making that annoying fucking sound it makes near the end.

“Why do you look so rough? You left before all of us,” he says, tipping his cup my way.

I grunt in response. I ain't telling him that watching Sunny show me what the cut sluts taught her on the pole had my cock punching through my jeans. I took her back to our room and made her give me a private lap dance before I ate her to orgasm and then fucked her three times. My woman is sexy as fuck and I can’t get enough of her.

But I’m also ten fucking years older than her and I’m struggling to keep up, if I’m being honest. I wonder if she’ll agree to just spoon tonight?

Gallows gavel snaps me out of my thoughts, and back to the matters at hand. “Got a call from the Harkins, they got some shit they want moved.”

Hollow groans, “Everytime we move shipments for the Harkins it goes to shit. What is it this time? Fucking exotic animals again?”

“Bingo,” Gallows grins, “A couple of pricey pythons and a monitor lizard for some rich bastards. Quick, easy job. I want Coyote, Sleet and Hollow on it.”

The brothers all agree, and Brake looks fucking relieved. He was almost choked out by a python last time.

“What else we got?”

“Two jobs on for Saint’s Air so I’ll need some brothers this week. County loved our work so much they want us back to do the courthouse and the Sheriff’s department,

Brothers break out into laughter and I bang my fist on the table. It’s a fucking good day when the law in town needs the 1% club.

“Choose who you need and we’ll split the work,” Gallows says, looking around the table.

When no one has anything else to say Gallows leans back in his seat, fingers laced over his stomach.

“Fog, you got anything for us?”

Fog pulls up his laptop, his fingers flying over the keys. “The Wolves have gone to ground. After the failed hijacking and clubhouse attack their numbers aren’t great. They’re down to about a dozen men, if that.”

Boots stomp and fists bang on the table knowing we got the Wolves running scared. It doesnt fucking solve the problem, but it means they aren’t one for the moment.

“As for Crowe I got no fucking clue.”

Curses go around the table and Gallows sits forward, his expression unreadable.

“Wolves are nothing in the scheme of things. They’re pissants that we can take out whenever they rear their methed up heads.

Crowe, he’s the real threat.” He taps the table with his finger, something working behind his eyes.

“Hate to fucking say it, but I gotta call in a favor.”

“Agency contacts?” Mercy asks.

“Hacker.”

Mercy’s head snaps toward her brother and we all go silent. We’ve never needed anyone outside of what Fog can find online and now Grail, the prospect who seems to have an affinity for computers.

“Think he’ll help?” Hush asks.

“I think she will help. But it ain’t gonna be painless,” Gallows replies. I raise my brow in question, Gallows shakes his head, “if you think Sunny is bad, this woman is way worse.”

“Gallows, you sure about this?” Mercy rolls her lips between her teeth, trying to hide her smile.

“No, but I don’t think we got a choice.”

“Well,” Brake starts. “This hacker got a name?”

“Yeah. Tuesday Tombs.”
