Bee has spent years building a life in the city and sharing it online.

Now she is moving home to live with Grandma on the Navajo Reservation. She plans to reconnect with her family, film ordinary life on the rez, and figure out whether home still feels like hers.

Her first grocery-store vlog creates a problem she never expected. A quiet man in a dark grey hoodie appears in the background for three seconds. Bee’s followers find him before she realizes he is Wes Blackwater.

Wes only went to the store with his mother’s grocery list. He did not expect strangers to give him a nickname, track down his account, or call his mother to ask whether he was single. His attempt to make everyone stop only makes Hoodie Guy more popular.

Then Grandma asks Bee to buy Blue Bird flour, and Bee comes home with blue flowers. The mistake is funny until the comments turn cruel. Wes knows Bee has been gone a long time. He also knows that mistaking flour for flowers doesn’t mean she no longer belongs.

Bee is used to thousands of people watching her.

Wes is used to being overlooked. Now the internet is watching both of them, and neither one knows what comes next.
