Chapter 31
Leo
Iasked Gage where Alessa and the guys were, and the answer came in picture format ten minutes later. It’s a perfect view of the backside of Alessa with her legs spread open, her swollen pussy dripping cum.
Fuck, that shouldn’t be so hot.
“Well, I’ll be damned,” Gage chuckles from his position on the couch beside me. “That asshole is flipping us off,” he laughs.
I snort. “Probably just you since you started this.”
I look at Holden, who’s out of his office, sitting on the loveseat in front of us with his eyes glued to his phone.
“You good, Holden?” I ask with a laugh.
“Huh?” He jerks his head up. “Yeah.”
Gage and I exchange a look but don’t comment, too afraid to run him off.
It surprised us when he came out and asked where they were, and when we told him they were still gone, he stayed out here.
Gage holds my eyes longer than necessary, rolling his teeth across his bottom lip, grinning when heat rushes my cheeks.
What happened at the cabin has run on repeat in my head.
I was so fucking nervous at first, but Gage and Les made sure I enjoyed it, and I did.
I never really thought about what it would be like to be with a man, so I didn’t know what to expect.
Once Gage kissed me the first time, I was done for.
I couldn’t wait for him to touch me again after what happened in my room.
He and Les working together at the cabin almost made my head explode, and I wanted more.
Les is cool with it, even encouraging me to explore with Gage because that’s what I want.
It makes me fall in love with her even more.
There isn’t anything that girl can do wrong in my eyes anymore.
I’m not even shocked she pulled the trigger in Xander’s garage, and I’m sure Xander is now dead also, but I now understand she has to do it to survive.
Ryder and I are finally on our way to working things out, and I will make the same decision again.
I didn’t hesitate to save him because he was important to Alessa.
The fact that Ryder talked to me in the car on the way home instead of fucking with me about my freak-out gave him points in his favor.
He’s still a dick, but I’m coming to terms with the fact that it’s just his personality.
I won’t lie and say I don’t miss having Alessa all to myself, but she’s so fucking happy that I would never dream of taking that from her.
The garage door to the house opens, and their voices filter through the house. Ryder and Dex stroll into the living room, sitting in the chairs.
“Where’s Les?” Holden asks with a hopeful look on his face.
Ryder smiles softly at him, the same look he gives Les. “Taking a shower.”
Gage snorts. “I wonder why?”
Ryder shrugs. “It wasn’t only my fault.”
“You?” Gage asks, his head swinging to Dex. Dex raises an eyebrow but doesn’t answer. “Holy shit! It’s about fucking time.”
Dex shrugs his massive shoulders, refusing to answer, but I don’t miss that look on his face, the look you get when you finally sink into Alessa.
“Where’s the kid from the garage?” Ryder asks, stretching his legs out in front of him.
“Gerald’s. The kid was fucked out of his mind. He’s going to come down hard,” Gage answers. “Where’s Xander?”
“Dead,” Ryder says simply. “I’ll call Doc and see if he can help clean the kid up.”
“He’s Zane’s fucking rat. You think that’s a good idea?” Gage asks, sitting up on the couch.
“What are we going to do? Kill him?” Ryder points out. “Les smashed his phone, and he doesn’t have contact with that motherfucker right now.”
“Didn’t Zane warn us to get out of there?” I ask, looking between them.
Ryder’s eyes harden. “Yeah. Seemed a little suspicious they were a lot closer than what he said, though.”
“Zane wouldn’t throw Les under a bus,” Gage says. “No matter how much I hate that asshole, you know I’m right.”
“Les? No. Us?” Dex adds, “In a fucking heartbeat.”
I still don’t know the whole story and feel like now isn’t the time to ask.
“When I get Playboy’s real name, I’ll run some checks on him,” Holden says quietly. “Maybe if we pay him more than Zane for information, we can flip him.”
“Hm,” Ryder grunts. “That’s a good idea.”
Holden smiles and blushes. “Les would have thought of it too.”
“Give yourself some credit, man,” Ryder says gently. “The shit you do is badass.”
“Fuck yeah,” Gage says excitedly. “Les asks for information, and it’s there before we can blink.”
“I definitely couldn’t do it,” I add, sensing that Holden doesn’t think highly of himself. “I don’t know how you do it.”
Holden chuckles. “It’s not that cool.”
“Yes,” Ryder says, a little more determined. “It is.”
Holden looks at Ryder, and it’s like his eyes get captured by something. I look at Ryder, and he’s giving him the same look. I look at Gage at the same time he looks at me, then we both look between them and back at each other.
“What the fuck?” Gage mouths. Relieved I’m not the only one that sees, I just shrug because I’m just as confused. Do Ryder and Holden have a thing? Or the beginning of one?
Alessa walks into the living room in an oversized shirt that I’m sure she stole from one of us because that’s her new thing.
Not that any of us mind seeing her in our clothes.
She has her phone in her hand on speakerphone while it rings.
She sits on the loveseat beside Holden, snuggling into his side with her legs tucked under her.
I swear I see all the tension leave his shoulders when he wraps an arm around her.
“Hello, Moye sokrovishche,” the person on the other end answers in a faint Russian accent, one I remember from the games. I swear I hear Ryder and Dex both growl at the greeting.
“Hey, Alexey,” she says with a roll of her eyes. “This is a business call. Where’s Dmitri?”
Do they have phone calls that aren’t business related? They both seem familiar with her in the way they hang on her.
“Yeah. You’re on speaker.”
“There is no easy way to say this,” Alessa sighs. “But your dad is making a move against me.”
“What?!” they both shout at the same time.
“What do you mean?” I’m guessing this voice is Dmitri. They sound very similar, but his voice isn’t as deep as Alexey’s.
“He’s gained a new interest in blow and the Vipers.”
“What does he want with street vermin like Xander’s crew?” Alexey asks.
“It’s not Xander’s crew anymore,” Alessa says casually. “They were doing the selling.”
“Father knows blow is your business. Are you sure?” Dmitri asks. I don’t think he’s asking because he doesn’t believe her. This is their friendship on the line, one I think they aren’t supposed to have.
“I’m sure. Spinner is the middleman.” She runs her fingers through her wet hair. “You know what this means.”
“Fuck,” Alexey mutters. “I don’t want this, Moye sokrovishche.”
Whatever he just called her again makes her eyes sad. “I don’t either, but I can’t let this slide.” She pinches the bridge of her nose. “I won’t ask you to go against your father, and I also don’t want to see you guys hurt.”
“Don’t worry about us,” Dmitri says, whispering something in the background. “We actually would like to speak with you about something else.”
Ryder and Alessa exchange a look. “About?” she asks.
“Not on the phone. Meet us at the gala?” Alexey answers.
“I can do that,” Alessa replies then they say their goodbyes.
“What could they possibly need to talk to you about?” Ryder asks, sitting forward in the chair.
Alessa shrugs. “I don’t know. I guess we’ll find out at the gala.”
“Anyone else get the feeling they already knew?” Gage asks.
Alessa laughs. “No. That’s your jealousy talking.”
“I’m not jealous of them,” Gage snorts. “Much.”
“What did he call you?” I ask because I need to know.
“My treasure,” Ryder growls, answering my question. “He’s going to lose his tongue for that shit.”
“Are you jealous, Ryder?” Alessa purrs.
“I don’t fucking like it,” Holden speaks up, and every head turns to him.
“What?” Alessa squeaks, shocked.
“I don’t like anyone but us calling you names,” Holden answers, pulling her closer.
She grins and kisses his cheek. “I will let him know to cut it out, okay?” He nods and kisses the top of her head.
I see Ryder trying to fight a grin, but he loses the battle and starts laughing. “That’s my boy.”
Holden turns a deep shade of red. “It’s not funny.”
“I’m not making fun of you.” Ryder tries to smother the laugh but fails. “I never pegged you for the possessive type.”
“Les is ours,” Holden says hotly, surprising us even more. “You shouldn’t like it either.”
“Trust me, we don’t,” Gage agrees.
Alessa turns to face him. “I’m yours, huh?”
“Yes,” he says without a moment’s hesitation.
I shrug. “I’m with Holden on this one.”
“Face it, Baby girl. You’re stuck with us.”
“I kind of like the sound of that,” she answers. She pecks Holden on the lips. “You’re mine too.”
“Damn right, Bright eyes.”
“Leo,” a sweet voice sing-songs the next morning. I would know that voice anywhere. I snuggle further into the pillow so the dream won’t go away. The sweet voice giggles. “Leo.”
Soft hands run up my back, and I realize it’s not a dream. I crack one eye open, and Alessa is sitting beside me in my bed on her knees. “Hey, Baby,” I greet, my voice still rough with sleep.
“You want to go with me to Gerald and Boone’s this morning?” she asks, still running her hands up and down my back and then kneading my shoulders.
I shake my head. “You keep doing that,” I joke.
She throws her leg over my waist and sits on my ass. She starts working the stiff muscles in my back, and I can’t stop the groan. It feels so damn good.
“Ya like?” she asks, working deeper into a stubborn kink in my shoulder.
“Fuck yes.”
