Chapter 42
Alessa
“I’ll buy you a new couch,” Ryder offers Holden once we showered and made it to the kitchen for breakfast. “There’s no saving the other one.”
Holden laughs. “It was worth it.”
“Totally worth it,” I agree from my seat on the counter in front of the island.
After my cry last night and initial freak out, I feel better, and I have Dex to thank for that.
I never in a million years thought he would be the one to console me, but he dropped every wall he had…
for me. We couldn’t keep our hands off of each other after that.
We made love twice more on the swing, then he carried me upstairs, where we made love again.
All through the night, one of us was waking the other one to get more, and each time I fell asleep with my head on his chest, wrapped in his arms. I didn’t think the day would ever come when he would let me back in.
When he told me he loved me, it was like everything was finally snapping into place; I didn’t mean to freeze on him. I felt terrible he had to explain himself before I could form words, but he just shocked me.
Dex strides into the room, and when his eyes zero in on me, he’s in front of me before I can blink. He slides his body between my thighs, buries his hands in my hair, and slants his mouth over mine, kissing me breathless.
He pulls back, laying a little peck on my lips. “Good morning, Gaby girl.”
“Good morning, Dexton.” I wrap my arms around his neck and marvel at the fact he doesn’t even react.
He leans in beside my ear. “Sounded like you had a real good morning,” he whispers.
“You heard that?”
“The whole house heard that,” he chuckles. “What were they doing to you?”
I love that the guys ask me about my time with the others, it turns them on as much as me, and they want to ensure that I’m being taken care of.
“They fucked me at the same time,” I whisper, rubbing my lips up his neck, making his whole-body shudder. “In the pussy.”
He jerks his head back, grey eyes darkening. “They were in your pussy at the same time?” I nod, and he groans, “Fuck. Were you a good girl for them?”
“She made a mess of my office,” Holden says proudly, tuning into our conversation.
Ryder snorts. “Understatement. We’re going to have to buy him a new fucking couch.”
Dex slants his mouth over mine again and jerks my hips forward so I grind against his hard cock. I shouldn’t be able to get turned on after all night with Dex and the office with Holden and Ryder, but I could get Dex’s cock out right now and let him fuck me without complaints.
Something is broken inside of me.
“For fuck’s sake,” Micah grouches, making Dex and me pull apart. “Not in the kitchen.” He looks between me and Dex, his mouth dropping open at the fact that Dex is practically wrapped around me. His wide eyes turn to me, and I just smile.
“What about in the living room?” Gage quips, having followed him into the kitchen.
“I would prefer not to see my niece naked.” Micah wrinkles his nose, and I can’t help but laugh.
“Where are the Perez boys?” I ask, trying to change the subject. Dex turns around with his back to my chest with his arms folded; I wrap my arms around his chest, propping my chin on his massive shoulder.
Gage pops a kiss on my lips. “In the dining room.” His eyes land on Dex, and he grins. “Does this mean I can hug you now without fear of death?”
“Hug me and find out,” Dex offers, but I can hear the threatening undertone in his voice.
Gage moves in fast, wrapping his arms around Dex’s waist, then dances out of his reach, laughing. “You know not to provoke me.”
“Fucking children,” Micah mutters under his breath.
Gage spins on his heel, facing Micah. “You want one?” he asks, holding his arms out. “Bring it in.”
“Fuck off,” Micah says, taking a step back when Gage advances on him. “Gage,” he warns.
“Come on,” Gage wiggles his fingers, arms still outstretched. “Just give in.”
Gage takes several steps forward, causing Micah to take several steps back, running right into Evander, who’s walking into the kitchen. Micah whirls around and ducks behind Evander, using him as a human shield.
“Come on, Micah,” I remark. “He just wants a hug.”
“I was deprived as a child,” Gage pouts. “Just one.”
“No. Get one from your boyfriend or Les.” Micah waves his hand from behind Evander, making Evander laugh.
Gage turns his pout on Evander. “Just one?” he asks, and if I didn’t know any better, I would think he’s genuinely upset.
Evander raises an eyebrow but opens his arms for Gage. Gage whoops and wraps his arms around him, almost knocking Evander down. I’m laughing so hard that I have tears rolling down my face. This is a typical day with Gage in this house.
Mateo and Leo round the corner to find Evander wrapped in Gage’s arms. Leo just shakes his head and walks around them. He looks much better this morning and isn’t as pale or like he will pass out at the drop of a hat.
Leo leans back on the counter beside Dex and me. “Do I want to know?” he asks, nodding his head at Gage, stepping back from his hug.
“He was deprived as a child,” Ryder repeats with a laugh. “He was trying to get Micah.”
I kiss Leo’s cheek. “How are you feeling?”
“Better, actually. Ryder changed the bandage this morning and said it was healing good.”
I still can’t wrap my head around Ryder being so attentive to Leo. He ensured he rested, took his pain meds, kept his bandages dry and clean, and checked on him every night and every morning. That part he doesn’t think anyone knows about.
Gage walks over and cages Leo against the counter with his arms; Leo lays his hands on Gage’s hips like it’s the most natural thing. “I took care of something else this morning.”
Leo’s face heats up, but it’s not from embarrassment. “You sure fucking did.”
I punch Gage’s arm. “Don’t do anything to rip his stitches.”
Dex laughs from his spot in front of me. “You aren’t worried that one of your boyfriends got freaky with your other boyfriend. You’re worried he could rip his stitches.”
“Priorities,” I laugh and peck Dex’s cheek. “It’s hot as fuck knowing they mess around.”
Gage rubs his arm like I actually hurt him. “I just sucked his dick.”
“Jesus Christ,” Micah throws his hands up in the air, storming from the room. “I hate every single fucking one of you!” he yells.
“I don’t see Evander and Mateo bothered by this conversation!” I yell back.
“Because they own a FUCKING SEX CLUB!” Micah yells back, getting louder with each word, then the backdoor slams.
“Fair point,” Mateo laughs. “Why is he so high-strung this morning?”
“He walked in on Dex dry-humping Les,” Holden says, stealing a strawberry from Ryder’s plate and dropping it into his mouth. Ryder fake growls and Holden just grins.
“Little shit,” Ryder chuckles affectionately. “Don’t think I won’t go in after it.”
Gage’s head whips around. “Please let me witness that.”
Ryder shrugs, and hooks his hand on the back of Holden’s neck, jerking Holden’s mouth to his.
He kisses him like he did in the office.
Watching any of the guys give in to their desires with each other never fails to make me soak my panties.
There’s something about the almost brutal way they kiss each other but can be tender with one another too.
Everyone’s mouth in the room is hanging open except for mine because I witnessed it first-hand. Ryder pulls back and licks his lips with a grin. Holden stares at him with a stunned expression, then leans forward, pecking Ryder on the lips.
“Holy shit,” Leo whispers, “I never saw that shit coming.”
“I did,” Gage admits.
“Of course you did, Babe. You’re nosey as fuck.” Leo says.
Gage turns around slowly. “Did you just call me babe?”
“You have two nicknames for me,” Leo points out.
Gage buries his nose against Leo’s neck. “I do, Pretty boy.”
“I fucking love this house,” Mateo says, looking around the room.
“I’m quite fond of it myself,” Evander agrees.
“Does that mean you’re staying until all this clears?” I ask, hoping they say yes. I know it will make Leo feel better to have them here.
Evander and Mateo exchange a look, then Evander turns to me. “Temporarily, yes. I’d like to keep an eye on Leo.”
Leo snorts. “I don’t need a goddamn babysitter.”
“I’m not staying as a babysitter,” Evander says evenly. “I’m staying because your girl was kind enough to offer so we would all be safe.”
Leo grimaces. “Sorry. I got off the phone with Mom earlier, and she was freaking out.”
My head whips to him. “You told your mother that you got shot?!”
“No,” he scoffs, “I told her I got hurt, but I didn’t tell her exactly how.”
I breathe a sigh of relief. I hate that he has to lie to her, but she doesn’t need to know the truth. The truth in our lives can get you killed.
“I need to go to their house and get some stuff,” Leo says, wrapping his arms tighter around Gage. “You two want to take me?”
“We have some stuff to do first,” Gage responds, then looks at me. “Later?”
I nod. “Works for me.” Then I level them both with a look. “But no freaky shit until his stitches are healed better.”
Ryder laughs. “Sucks to be you.”
I turn my look on him. “Keep talking shit, and I’ll put you on that list too.”
“Even after this morning?” he purrs, wrapping an arm around Holden’s shoulders. “I think we could convince you, Il mio sole.”
I snort. “You think I couldn’t say no?” I say with false bravado. They don’t need to know I will fold at the drop of a hat.
Dex chuckles and stands up with my arms still around his neck. “My money is on, Les.” He hooks an arm under my ass, boosting me up, so I’m on his back and strides out of the room.
At least he has faith in me; I sure as hell don’t.
