6. Lucas #2
“Sure,” I said, slightly disappointed, but still hopeful.
As we entered the back hallway, room one was the first one. No surprise. Cam and I kept walking. And walking. The place only had twelve rooms. Room twelve was the last one in the hall. Damn.
“Damn it,” Cam said. I looked up at him, slightly surprised. Cam stuttered, “I...uh...was kinda hoping we’d be close.”
“‘Sup, bros? Checkin’ out the rooms?” Ty sauntered down the hall towards us. “You gonna actually go inside?”
Both of us stared at him with our envelopes held out in front of us like fools.
Ty looked down, a flash of recognition on his face.
“You horndogs." He rolled his eyes. "Wanna switch, Cam? I got eleven.”
“You’d do that?”
“Ye-”
Before Ty could even get the word out, Cam grabbed it out of his hand and shoved his original envelope into Ty’s.
“Thank you!” Cam said.
“Well, it’s not a problem. I’m not gonna be the one you keep up tonight.” He winked. “Try to remember to pull the bed away from the wall first,” he said, patting Cam on the back.
I punched him in the shoulder again, while Cam blushed.
“You guys are too easy. Lighten up,” Ty said.
“Thank you, Ty. That’ll be enough. You're dismissed,” I said and pushed him back down the hall.
I opened the door to room twelve.
“Holy…”
“...crap,” Cam finished for me.
Sunlight streamed down onto the king-sized bed from an enormous skylight in the center of the room.
A small couch was off to its right, facing a wall-mounted flatscreen.
On the other side of the bed was the veranda, housing a small table and two chairs, surrounded by a screen and lush foliage.
Opposite the couch and bed, the bathroom door was next to a set of dressers.
The bathroom was as wide as the rest of the room with a jacuzzi tub in the middle, sink and toilet at one end, and shower at the other.
“This room is insane,” I said and looked at Cam. He was smiling too.
“I wonder if mine is the same.”
I put my bag on the bed, and we headed across the hall.
“Yup, just flipped.”
He dropped his bag on his bed, and expecting his turn to leave, I took two steps forward, so when he turned, he bumped into me.
“Sorry, Lu-”
I grabbed his chin and pushed up slightly, making him look me in the eye. Our lips were inches apart.
“I did it on purpose, Cam. I couldn’t wait until tonight. Can I kiss you again?” I asked.
I didn’t get an answer. Cam’s lips were on mine as soon as my question ended.
The embers that had been glowing ever since his fingers brushed mine on the way here ignited and my dick came to attention.
I needily pushed my hips into Cam’s and I could feel he was hard, too.
I practically swooned as his arms wrapped around me.
He was a little bigger than me and I enjoyed feeling wrapped up in his muscles.
I couldn’t help myself anymore. I wanted to be closer to him, so I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist. He didn’t even flinch.
He held us for a few minutes as we continued to kiss.
His hands started wandering through my hair, down my back.
He cupped my butt, kneading the muscles there. It felt wonderful. I groaned.
“You like that?” Cam asked.
I nodded and smiled and kissed him again.
“I think you’re trouble.” He laughed.
“You have no idea,” I said, and started bucking, rubbing myself against his stomach. I could feel his dick pressing against my butt. I imagined it straining his briefs.
Cam lost his balance and fell back onto the bed. I landed on top of him, and we both started laughing again.
Shane cut the moment short, calling “Luke!” in the hallway. We heard knocking on the door, presumably across the hall. “Tyler!” And then three knocks on our door.
“Shit!” Cam said.
“Hey Shane,” we heard Ty say. “Cam and I switched rooms. I didn’t like the feng shui in that one, so he switched with me.”
“Okay, Tyler, thanks.” More knocking. “Whoever’s in this room, interviews start in ten. The film crew’s here.”
“Thanks, Shane. I’ll be out in a minute,” Cam said, then turned to me. “What were we thinking? That was too close.”
“I don’t think we were the ones thinking,” I said, looking down at our crotches, still touching and still hard, despite the interruption. “I think they still want to play.”
Cam smirked. “Maybe later.” And he pushed up, so I had to roll off him.
“Maybe?” I played it coy, giving him my best pouty face.
“Yeah, you’re right. Next week sounds better.”
I grabbed a pillow and threw it at him. “You better be kidding, Camden.”
“What if I’m not, Lucas?”
“Oh, you will be. You’ll be begging me tonight.” I stuck my tongue out at him.
“Go get ready for your interview, you movie star. We’re only here because of you.” He pushed me to the door. “Wait,” he said, grabbing my shirt. “I should go first.”
Cam opened the door, peeked out, then motioned me to follow. “It’s clear.”
I slapped his ass as I snuck by and went over to my door.
I felt a pinch on my left cheek as Cam passed me.
“Good luck, Luke.”
“You too, Cam. Try not to bite their head off, sweetheart.”
The interview went as expected. Thankfully, when they asked about my parents, they didn’t pry harder.
I gave generic answers, and the reporter seemed to not care about them, anyway.
Shane was there, but never had to interrupt or help.
It went really well. The only part that stood out in my mind was when the reporter asked, “What would you say to anyone out there who’s still in the closet? ”
I had to think about that one for a minute or two before I responded. “I would say, first, congratulations. It takes courage to come out to yourself, admitting to yourself that you are gay, bi, pan, however you identify...that is an accomplishment worth celebrating.”
