I’m sure he wasn’t thinking with his brain. He was thinking with his cock. Or his heart. Both?

When I felt Cam’s lips on mine, I froze, but as soon as I felt his tongue press against my lips, begging for entry, I relented. And kissed him back.

It felt like ages, but I’m sure it was a second or two.

“So, going public, huh?” Shane said behind us, which was enough to break Cam’s lips off mine.

“Sorry,” Cam squeaked out, his cheeks flushed. “Couldn’t help myself. You really want to live with us?”

“Of course. I know it’s probably fast for you, but I know what I want.”

“It’s fine. I wanted to ask you, but I felt the same.” We shared a laugh.

“I’m pretty sure they just took a picture of you kissing, just a heads up,” Heather said, pointing towards the front of our section. “You should text Woodward and let him know.”

“I will, Mom, but after Colton. I don’t need him distracted.”

It was a good thing Cam didn’t distract Colton. He ended up with a silver medal, but was only a tenth of a point behind Rasmus. It was so close. Ty and Coach were with him. I kept refreshing Twitter and Instagram, checking to see if what Cam’s mom said was true.

Of course, they had the balls to tag us in it.

“Fuck,” I muttered under my breath.

“What?” Cam heard me.

“It’s grainy, but there’s a photo.”

“Oh, Cam, what did I tell you?”

“It’s fine, Mom. I don’t mind. It was going to happen, eventually.”

Shane and Noah asked to see it, so I handed my phone over.

“It’s not perfectly obvious that it’s you guys,” Shane said.

“You can see the silver medal around Cam’s neck!”

Luke sounded upset, so I massaged his knee and whispered, “It’s really fine, Luke. Don’t worry about it.”

Noah added, “We can ignore it for now, Cam, if you want. We can also go the route of an official statement or interview, too.”

“I don’t want it to be a big deal anymore. We’ll just see what happens.”

“Speaking of interviews, we’ve had a lot of requests regarding the fire, and I’m not sure how much longer we can hold those off. US Gymnastics wants the story out there, and probably more now that you managed another medal post-hyperbaric chamber.”

“You think we can wait until the event finals are over?” Cam asked.

“That should work.”

After the last medal ceremony finished, the arena started to empty. Time for us to find Colton.

“Hey, Luke.” O caught me on the stairs. “Would the guys mind if Austin and Erika came to the suite tonight?”

My eyebrows shot up, and I caught the bashfulness all over O’s face.

“Not at all, O. I’m sure Cam wouldn’t mind hanging with Erika, giving you some unchaperoned time. In the hot tub, perhaps.”

“Thanks, Luke.” He bounded back down the stairs, and I watched him deliver the news. I wondered if Cam and I were like that in Brisbane, but remembered Ty’s merciless teasing.

Yes, we were.

Colton and O were spending time with their families for the afternoon, and Alex was getting in one last training session at the gym. That meant Cam and I were in the suite alone.

I mentioned to Cam that Colton’s family seemed weird when we went to congratulate him on his medal.

“Uh, yeah. About that. I came out to them a few days ago because Colton’s dad and brother were being pretty childish about you and Orion.”

“Seriously? What do you mean? Did they say something?”

Cam hesitated, then said, “They used the word queer in a negative sense.”

“Oh.” No matter how much progress I thought I’d made, there would still be people that couldn’t handle it. Even when their son was my teammate.

“So, I said they had no right to speak about anyone that way, let alone my teammates, and then I came out to them and left.”

I pulled his shoulder around and wrapped my arms around him. I had heard Cam brag about his hugging skills. He wasn’t exaggerating. He was an excellent hugger, but I was the one trying to make him feel better.

“Thanks for sticking up for us, and I’m so proud of you for coming out to them. That took some balls, especially if they were talking shit. It makes more sense now the way Beau was eyeing me.”

“Yeah, I noticed.”

“Well, I’m glad they didn’t say anything to ruin Colton’s moment. I hope they can turn it around. Colton’s gay and he’s going to tell them some day.”

Cam pulled back. “It’ll be sooner if he and Zephyrus keep it up.”

“Is that what you were hinting at earlier? He’s got a guy already?”

Cam nodded. “They met because of me. Zephryus plays for the Thunder, and I was working PT on him the day Colton was visiting. I guess Colton was more Zephryus’ type than me.”

“Well, he has poor taste then. And oops, now you’re taken!” I squeezed his hand.

“Well, I wasn’t at the time.”

“He must’ve sensed your heart was elsewhere.”

“I’m sure that was it. Or, he just likes them taller, leaner and with a Texas twang.”

“Thankfully!”

We headed to the kitchen. It was well past time for lunch. Cam grabbed a banana and some peanut butter and started eating.

“Hungry boy, but what do you want for lunch? I can make us something.”

“Sandwiches? We got meat and cheese?”

I opened the fridge to check. “Yup. I can do that.” I busied myself with making them, while I tried not to be distracted by Cam deep-throating his banana. I failed.

“Are you trying to eat that? Or suck out its jizz?”

He withdrew the banana from his mouth. “Mmm...banana-flavored jizz. I’d probably swallow more if it tasted like that.”

“I’ll see what I can do.”

Cam laughed at the idea. “Speaking of...sexy times. Was last night okay?”

I looked over to see he had stopped eating, waiting for my answer. He looked sort of vulnerable.

“Oh Cam, it was fantastic. It-”

“You’re not just saying that?”

“No, no, no. It was perfect. Exactly how I remembered it. Better even. I mean, having you cum inside of me, no condom. Fuck. I would happily do that every night for the rest of my life. I mean, not that I’m asking for that, that’s getting ahead of ourselves. Myself. Sorry.”

“I see now why people think I’m cute when I ramble. It looks good on you as well.” He paused. “So, were bananas involved in your sex tutorial with Tyler?”

“You’re not letting this go, are you?” I smiled and grabbed two plates from the cabinet. The sandwiches were ready.

“Nope.”

“Want to sit outside?”

“Sure.”

Between bites, I filled him in on the details of my lesson with Ty and we continued our conversation about sex.

Cam was horny, but cautious. In his roundabout way, he was letting me know he was still nervous about sex, but trying not to overthink.

I could tell he wanted to let go, but part of him was afraid of getting hurt again.

“I know my promise might hold little weight with you, but it’s just me this time. My parents are out of the picture. I want to live with you and your mom this summer. I want us to be boyfriends. I want to be with you. I would never ruin this. Ever. Again.”

Cam smiled. “I know all that, but a small part of me remembers the hurt from that night. I’m trying to shut it down, I really am.”

I knew there wasn’t anything else I could say. I’d have to prove it with actions.

And I would.

“So, your phone should be all set. I’ve checked my account info and your phone is there, the device and the number. That should be set.”

“Thank you.” I couldn’t be more grateful. Shane and Noah had popped by. Noah was checking in on Cam and his breathing, making sure he was following through on the doctor’s recommendations. Shane was updating me on my life as he knew it.

“I couldn’t help but hear your plans to live with Cam after London, and that works out great, because you’ll be near me and Noah. If you want to try for the next Olympics, we can continue training together.”

“Of course! Yes, I want that.”

“Good. Because living with them will also help keep your expenses down, and it was smart to throw a part-time job in there, too. Who knew you could be so resourceful?” He grabbed my neck with his hand to jostle me playfully.

I’d forget how much bigger he was than me until we touched.

Whether it was like just now or a hug, it made sense he coached wrestling.

I’d imagine he’d be a formidable opponent.

And let’s stop thinking about Shane wrestling.

Apparently, getting the cum pummeled out of me last night hadn’t sated my horniness.

“And some good news on the sponsorship slash spokesman front. I spoke with the Andrew Christian rep and he already sent me new contracts that have nothing to do with your parents. They had let them lapse anyway, so they were technically expired.”

“Really?!” I was shocked my dad hadn’t noticed, but I wasn’t going to let myself care. It was done, and Shane was on top of things. Giggity.

Ugh, focus, Luke!

“I renegotiated a new contract that’s more beneficial.

You do what you’re doing now, agree to take part in their annual fashion event, and they’ve suggested two on location shoots.

One in Los Angeles after the Olympics and another one overseas.

Destination unknown at the moment. They’re even sending you some fresh underwear as we speak, and I asked for them to send extra for the other guys, too. ”

“Ay, dios mio, Shane. You’ve been busy.”

“Woodward reached out as well. After the Olympics, we have meetings with Nike, Adidas, Visa, Coca-Cola, and Gatorade. The diversity train has left the station and you are America’s ‘It Guy’ for gay athletes.

I think your gold medal in the all-around got their attention.

Keep it up and it will only solidify their interest in you. ”

“Holy shit. I don’t believe it.” It was more than I imagined.

“It hasn’t happened yet, Luke, but yeah, you’re a big deal. I don’t think you’ve ever seen yourself like that, but you are. And people like you. I know at least one of these meetings will lead to something big. I can feel it.”

“Well, I hope so.” I got up off the couch and stood with my arms open. He knew I was looking for a hug and reciprocated.

“Whoa, hands off, Luke,” Noah said, as he and Cam entered the living room. “Coach and athlete relations are forbidden fruit. Plus, you’re taken. And so is he.”
