“Welcome back to Crime Daily Podcast. I’m Kenzi.”
“And I’m Ali. Remember that woman who made national news asking for information about her husband?”
“I do,” Kenzi replies. “Do we have an update?”
“He was found. Yesterday was his funeral.”
“His funeral,” Kenzi says sadly. “Wasn’t he the football coach at a small school in Wisconsin?”
“Michigan. Under his coaching, the small high school won the football state championship two times. The whole town seemed to love him. His funeral was a big event.”
“What happened to him?”
Ali hums. “They aren’t saying. Everything I find says his death was accidental.”
“Just like boom? That seems a bit fishy.”
Ali laughs. “The name of the town is Blue Gil. It’s definitely fishy.”
“Let’s keep checking back. Town heroes don’t just die accidentally.”
“I agree, Kenzi. Speaking of Michigan… Has there been any progress on the cold case in the Upper Peninsula?”
“No. It’s a real stumper.”
