"I know that, my boy. Are you sure that you want to get married here? Now?"
"Yes, I don't want her to second guess anything. I want her to be my wife more than I want to take my next breath."
"You are okay with me doing the service?"
I place my hand on Pops' shoulder. "I would be honored for you to marry us, Pops."
My Ma walks up and joins us with a small box in her hand. "Maybe with Callum, I will get a normal church wedding." She gives a short laugh.
"I doubt it, Ma. Callum is likely to end up running off to Vegas before he steps foot in a church."
She rolls her eyes and sighs, "You are probably right. I don't care where he gets married as long as he is happy."
I glance at my brother. He is standing over with Jackson and Liam, laughing about something. I don't know what is going on with him and Lacey. I need to check in with Liam about how things are going with figuring out what the hell is happening with her parents. But right now, he looks happy.
"I need to go check on Adrianna. I will be back." My Ma kissed my cheek.
"What is in the box, Ma?"
"Your grandmother's pendent." She opened the box and showed me a beautiful red pendant necklace. "She made me promise to give it to the youngest boy's wife." She walked off, and my Pops leaned close to me.
"There is a tracker in it, I will have Callum send you over the information."
We are standing inside the chapel of the hospital.
My brothers on my side and Pen and Lacey on Adrianna's.
I am watching my Pops face when I hear the doors open.
I know by his look that my girl walked it.
I slowly turn and I lose all rational thoughts.
The only thing I can think of is going to her.
Before I can stop myself, I am standing right in front of her.
My black dress shoes are bumped up against the pair of red heels I bought her.
"You know you are supposed to wait up there, right?" Jackson whispers to me from Adrianna's side. I shake my head and realize I walked down the aisle to them.
"Hi, Gattina." I smile down at her.
"Hi, Luka. You gonna go back up there so my brother can give me away?" She puts her hand against my chest and I can't help but melt under her touch.
My eyes catch on the pendent she has around her neck and I reach out and touch it. I feel her breath hitch as I run my fingers over it and then up her neck. "Okay." I turn and shuffle back up to the front.
"Seriously, you stand right here." Liam grabs my shoulders and turns me to face Adrianna. "Don't move."
Callum chuckles beside him but tries to cover it up with a cough and my Ma cuts her eyes to him.
Adrianna finally makes her way up to me and I still can't believe she is going to marry me.
"I am not giving my sister away." Jackson turns to me, "She will always be my sister. If you hurt her, I will kill you." Jackson winks at me and then kisses his sister's cheek, and she rolls her eyes at him.
My father cleared his throat, and we turned to face him.
"Today is a day filled with joy, love, and new beginnings.
As a father, I have had the privilege of watching my son grow from a little boy full of curiosity and mischief into the remarkable man standing before us today.
And now, I have the incredible honor of not just standing beside him but officiating this moment as he steps into the next beautiful chapter of his life.
From the moment Luka was born, he has had a special place in my heart.
Being the last to leave the nest, he has kept our home filled with laughter, love, and, at times, a little bit of chaos.
But through the years, he has shown kindness, strength, and a heart full of love.

I lean down and kiss her and everything fades away but her.
Jackson gave a speech about how he was so happy Adrianna found a family that loved her the way she should be loved. And Liam gave one thanking Adrianna for loving me as Luka and not for hockey or the Rizzoli name. It was perfect.
