Nantucket Sound
The boatman surveyed the bloodstained deck of the Boston Whaler and tossed a second phone and SIM card—these belonging to the decapitated swimmer—into the water.
He estimated about a ten-minute boat ride to shore, then a four-minute walk to the woman’s house.
That would leave him a little over twenty minutes to find and kill her.
He calculated that he had a forty-five-minute window before he had to be back on the Whaler heading south.
The two spare gas tanks would give him just enough fuel to reach Long Island.
His instructions were simple, and he was paid well to follow them: Kill Elise Courville.
