Chapter Twenty-Six #2

Teasing is over as I get down to getting him off.

Placing one hand on his hip to keep him anchored, I swallow his thick cock as deep as I can.

I’m gagging, but I don’t let that stop me.

Giving head is an incredible rush. Giving head to Finn?

I’m so frantic with the need to make him come that I bob my head up and down, over and over, sucking relentlessly.

I don’t give a shit if I can’t breathe now or speak tomorrow, because I’m starving for his cum.

His breathing hitches and I know he’s close.

“Baby, I’m almost there. Ah, fuck.”

I moan around his dick and suddenly my body goes as rigid as Finn’s.

“Sel, holy shit, Sel… ah… ah, fuck!”

Finn doesn’t hold back when he reaches his climax, and I’m obsessed with his responsiveness.

No, it’s more than that. I’m obsessed with all of him, completely and utterly in love.

Fucking hell. My throbbing balls draw up tight as I orgasm hands free, soaking my jock.

His jock. Humming my pleasure around his cock, I suck harder as he yells my name, hot gushes of cum rushing down my throat.

I try to take it all but damn, it’s a lot.

Slipping off his softening dick, I manage to catch my breath, lick my bottom lip—painful, but worth it—and offer him a dirty grin.

“Feel better?” I croak.

Finn splays out on the chair, naked except for his sling, covered in sweat and flushed from head to toe. He’s so beautiful my chest aches.

“I think my shoulder is healed now,” he chuckles as he gives me a sleepy grin. “But I still need you to help me out of this chair.”

I slowly stand up, until my crotch is at his eye level. There’s no mistaking the wetness of my jock, and I make sure Finn sees it. To see what he does to me.

“You came hands free again. That’s so freaking hot,” he confesses. “Every time with you gets better.”

“I know.”

I’m cocky, but it’s the truth. And it’s on the tip of my tongue to tell him why.

But when Finn blinks and yawns, I know the timing isn’t right.

I want him to be fully alert when I hand over my heart.

Hopefully he’ll want it and won’t shoot it back to me.

Earlier, he mentioned our first public date, so that gives me hope.

I lean down and slide my left arm around his waist, notching his good shoulder to mine as I slowly help him up.

We walk at a snail’s pace to the bedroom, and once I get him settled, his injured shoulder propped up, I head for the bathroom.

By the time I’m finished washing up, Finn’s already sleeping.

I study his measured breaths, his relaxed expression, and the thick auburn eyelashes that kiss his cheeks.

He’s looks so right lying in my bed. I could stare at him all night. Every night.

After heading to the kitchen to grab water and my phone, I wander back in and slip under the covers. Finn shifts and mumbles something I can’t hear, so I close my eyes and the room is silent, except for our breathing. Another shift, more muttering.

“Finn, are you okay?” I whisper.

“Mmm… oh yeah… Wolfie.”

I sigh, relieved. There’s a long pause, which I assume means that he’s fallen asleep again, so I place my head back on my pillow.

“Will you… be here… tomorrow?” he murmurs but doesn’t open his eyes.

“Of course.”

“Good, I can… say it… finally.”

He’s not making sense at this point, but I can’t help but smile. Even in his sleep he rambles. Just when I thought Finn couldn’t get more adorable. And I have it so fucking bad for him because I’ve never said that about anyone.

“Sleep now,” I encourage.

“Mmm, k. I love you. Night.”

What??????

I jackknife off the bed and stare at him.

“Finn?”

The only sound that greets me is soft snoring. Did he say he loved me, or did I imagine that?

Be realistic, he was half asleep, and probably didn’t even realize who he was talking to.

I want to wake him up, but I don’t. I can’t. Instead, I lie there and stare at his profile, until sleep eventually claims me too.

My alarm buzzes and I reach for my phone, swiping to shut it off. I’m facing away from Finn, playing possum. I’ve been awake for a while, but unable to wrap my head around last night. Maybe I dreamt the whole thing. Maybe he didn’t really say those words.

When I roll over, Finn’s sitting up, quietly scrolling on his phone.

“Hey,” I mumble as I level up on my elbow.

“Morning,” Finn leans over and kisses me.

“Did you sleep well?” I ask.

“Like a rock, as soon as my head hit the pillow.”

Shit. That means he doesn’t remember what he said…

“You were right, blow jobs really are necessary for my therapy and sleep,” he quips.

I smile even though my heart is lodged in my throat.

Don’t say anything.

“But there is something I want to talk about,” he adds. “Concerning last night.”

Maybe he didn’t forget. Is this it? Is he going to say it?

My heart hammers so hard in my chest I’m in danger of passing out.

Finn hands over his phone. Oh. I guess not.

“You’re all over the sports and entertainment headlines.”

There’s articles and photos from the fashion event, and he’s zoomed in on the one where Taylor kissed me.

“And? You know this thing was for show, and now it’s over. He agreed with me. That’s why we told the press we’re staying low profile from now on.”

“The online speculation is that you’re doing it because the romance is ramping up to something serious.”

I roll my eyes.

“We’ll announce a breakup in a month, even though there’s nothing to break.”

“But he kissed you?”

“On the cheek, sweetheart. It was nothing. Hugo wanted us to lock lips, but I said no.”

“What?!” Finn exclaims.

I reach out and take his hand in mine, interlocking our fingers tightly.

“Why are you still bothered by this? I told you everything.”

Finn sighs and relaxes against his pillow.

“I don’t know. I’m sorry. Seeing the two of you like that gets to me,” he admits. “I don’t like him touching you. I know it’s fake, but you seem to fit with him. Taylor’s the whole package, the press loves him, and I’m just—”

“Stop.”

I slip out from under the covers, pad around to his side of the bed, and gently wrap my arm around his waist. Walking him to my mirrored closet, I steady his hips with my hands.

“Look,” I insist, standing behind him. “You’re beautiful, Finn, but it’s not just the outside I’m into; you’re so damn sweet, and kind, funny, and I could go on.

Fuck, you make me laugh like no one else.

You’re fierce and protective of me, on the ice and off, in a way I never expected from anyone.

I can be myself with you. Honestly, I can’t believe that you want to be with me. ”

I kiss his neck, and he licks his lips.

“Look at us together,” I continue. “Never seen anything sexier.”

His luminous eyes catch mine in the mirror.

“Do you know how hard it is for me to act indifferent around you in public, at the rink, anywhere? Sweetheart, I can’t stop smiling when I’m with you and it’s all because of you.”

“Jesus, Sel.”

He starts blinking and I trail my hands over his abs.

“I mean every word.”

“I know,” he admits as he closes his eyes. “But sometimes you and me, it’s so intense, like nothing else, and I… I wonder if it’s all me.”

“No, Finn. It’s us.”
