Chapter Forty Three Dragna

Chapter Forty Three

Dragna

I thought I was strong before. All the times I have kept my cool during meetings, times when I had been tortured for information and kept my mouth shut, the times I’ve had to use every ounce of strength in my body to stop from potentially inciting a war between us and other leaders by killing someone.

None of it compares to the strength it’s taking right now to not drive back to the hotel, kill that Irish cunt and get Willow out of there.

I’m not a fucking idiot. Willow wouldn’t take herself off for a walk in Boston on her own and not only that but she definitely wouldn’t have noticed our car.

She’s never fucking seen this car before because it’s the car we use for scouting, which means Tommy not only saw us, but he knows exactly who we are, what cars we drive and he’s told her to get rid of us.

That bastard has my Willow in that hotel room and threatened her with fuck knows what to get her to call me and tell me to leave.

If we went in guns blazing he could have killed her.

He could of killed her and Alina and their friends.

We have to be smart, make him think we’ve left Boston and pray to God that Willow wears the goddamn necklace.

That’s all our plan is based on. Our cars are known and the Irish and whoever they are working with will be keeping an eye out for us now. We have to be tactical, be sneaky.

I can’t think straight because I can’t stop thinking about how scared Willow must be.

When I get my hands on Tommy, his death is going to be slow and fucking painful.

He won’t die before telling us who his friend went with in the car though.

If the Irish are working together with someone to take me out, this is obviously why they needed the extra guns and ammo.

Motherfuckers wanted us to supply them only to try and take us out with our own fucking weapons.

Lev thinks Marco is involved, but as much as I think he cares about money more than Alina, I don’t think he would put her life in danger. That’s why he left her mother after all, so Alina wouldn’t become a target to be used against him.

There’s nobody that operates in Boston like the Irish. There’s a few motorcycle gangs and then the Triads, but none of them would ever try to wipe us out or work with the Irish to do it. They have to be working alone.

“What are you thinking boss?” Anton asks from across the table cutting off my thoughts.

I sigh, rubbing my stubble, thinking about where to start on answering that.

“What are we missing? The Irish have a better stronghold here in Boston, but it’s not like they don’t have the man power to pull off a stunt to take us down in New York.

So why bring the girls here and then why tell us to leave?

None of this makes any fucking sense. If they are using Willow to get to me, why waste all that time back home? ”

I can feel the heat and anger rising to dangerous heights over the fact that Willow is in their company and I can’t figure out their angle.

Anton leans back in his chair, thinking over what I’ve said while Lev and Ivan sit across room going over what we have of a plan so far with the other men when I pick up my phone to check the tracker for the thousandth time in the last couple hours.

I stand up so quick that my chair falls to the floor behind me with force.

She’s wearing the necklace, because finally, the tracker is moving.
