Even badtameezi has its limits... but Rivanya has crossed every single one. That tiny, stubborn girl had the audacity to throw me out of my own house and now, she's acting like I'm her servant, taking orders from her like it's the most normal thing in the world.

This is what happens when everyone coddles her, placing her on a pedestal. And yet, in front of her, I can't even move. Why? I don't even know.

After she slammed the door in my face, I just stood there for a moment, hoping foolishly that she might open it. But, of course, she didn't. And I didn't have the time to waste on an argument. A very important meeting awaited me. With a frustrated groan, I got into my car and drove to the office.

The only saving grace? When work consumes me, my mind forgets everything else. And that's exactly what happened. I dove into my work, hour after hour, back-to-back tasks leaving no room for thoughts of her, no room for the chaos she had created in my life.

By the time I looked up, night had fallen. Driving back home, the reality hit me like a punch. That crazy girl had said, if I dared sleep anywhere else tonight, she wouldn't let me into the house.

Rudraksh Vardhan, what has happened to you? On one side, the entire world fears me. On the other... this tiny, mischievous girl has completely taken over my sanity. How do I even deal with this?

I reached home within a few minutes, but the gates were still locked.

For a moment, I just sat there, staring ahead, trying to process the situation.

I couldn't help but wonder what the guards and servants must be thinking about me right now.

The man who feared no one, the man everyone bowed before-today, he had been thrown out of his own house by his wife.

The irony of it all burned deeper than I wanted to admit.

Just let me get inside once, Rivanya... I swear I'll teach you a lesson for this.

But then another thought struck me-how would I even explain to her that I let her leave earlier only because I was worried about her safety? How do I tell her that everything I did was for her?

Frustrated, I leaned back into the driver's seat. It looked like I'd be spending the night here. At least that idiot Vyom didn't know about this yet. If he found out, he would make my life miserable and announce it to the entire world like a headline.

Just then, my phone rang.

And of course-it had to be him.

Vyom's name flashed on the screen, and I sighed deeply before answering.

"What is it? Why are you calling so late?" I snapped.

On the other end, his loud, shameless laughter echoed. I swear, every time that man laughs, it sets my nerves on fire.

"Stop laughing like a maniac and tell me why you called," I growled.

Still laughing, he said, "Bro... I heard bhabhi kicked you out of the house. Is it true?"

Damn it. How did he find out?

He chuckled again. "Come on, Rudraksh. You know I know everything. I checked the CCTV footage myself. No point lying now."

That was it. Rivanya's stubbornness had already driven me mad, and on top of that, Vyom's teasing was like rubbing salt on an open wound. Without saying another word, I cut the call and switched my phone to silent.

I leaned my head back against the seat, closing my eyes, trying to sleep-but how could I? The position was uncomfortable, my mind restless. What kind of fate was this? The mighty Rudraksh Vardhan, feared by many, reduced to sitting helplessly outside his own house... because of one woman.

And the worst part?

I wasn't even angry anymore.

I was just... stuck. Unable to go inside. Unable to leave. Unable to stop thinking about her.

Spending the entire night sitting uncomfortably in the car was my only option, because begging that mad woman to let me inside was never going to happen. I am Rudraksh Vardhan. I can do anything but bowing before Rivanya’s stubbornness is not one of those things.

I had convinced myself that I would somehow survive the night here, but it was far from easy.

On top of everything, my guards kept stealing glances at me, and that was downright humiliating.

This was beyond embarrassing. Mahadev… what exactly is happening to my life?

Out of nowhere, a storm called marriage crashed onto my head, and from that storm emerged Rivanya disrupting everything like a raging whirlwind.

Then came her insufferable uncle, and now this being thrown out of my own house.

What an impressive downfall. And as if that wasn’t enough, Guruji and Gurumaa were traveling all the way from Vardhanpur to meet her, ready to test her with questions I myself couldn’t predict.

Frustration surged through me, and I slammed my fist against the dashboard, but even that failed to calm my anger.

Time passed slowly.

Half the night slipped away while I sat there, restless and irritated. When I finally checked the time, it was already 3 a.m. Enough was enough. Let’s see how Rivanya plans to stop me from entering my own house now.

With that thought, I stepped out of the car. My back ached badly after sitting in that position for hours, but at this point, pain meant nothing. I had to get inside no matter what. Once I did, Rivanya was definitely not getting away with this. Determined, I walked toward the back of the mansion.

For the first time in my life, Vyom’s idiotic idea was about to be useful the one where he suggested entering my room through the window.

Small tricks like these were nothing for a man who could control dangerous mafia leaders with a single gesture.

Climbing a wall was hardly a challenge. All those years at the gym were finally going to pay off.

I scaled the wall effortlessly and, as luck would have it, Rivanya had forgotten to lock the window. I slipped inside without a sound.

The room was wrapped in darkness, and the moment I stepped in, an unfamiliar sense of satisfaction washed over me as if I had just won a major battle. Moving quietly, I approached the bed… and there she was.

Rivanya.

Sleeping peacefully. Comfortably. As if nothing in the world was wrong.

Seriously? She locked me outside and was sleeping this calmly inside?

I clenched my jaw.

I swear, Rivanya Vardhan… I will make you pay for this.

Lost in the storm of my own thoughts, I moved forward to leave the room but fate had other plans. Something lay carelessly on the floor. Rivanya’s sandal. The moment my foot struck it, my balance slipped away, and before I could recover, gravity pulled me down straight onto her.

The impact was sudden, invasive, unavoidable.

Her sleep shattered instantly. Startled awake, fear rushing faster than reason, she opened her eyes to nothing but darkness. Unable to recognize me, she screamed so piercing, so loud, it vibrated straight through my skull. For a second, I swear my ears rang.

This girl how does she do it? She looks so fragile, so tiny, yet her voice could wake the dead. Before I could even speak, her survival instinct kicked in. Small fists started raining down on my chest, my shoulders, anywhere they could reach.

“You thief!” she shouted hysterically. “How dare you enter my room? Do you even know who my husband is? He’ll crush you in seconds! Get off me, you demon!”

The situation was absurd. Her blows held no power she was far too small compared to me but the fire in her voice, the fear trembling beneath her anger, was real. And the irony… threatening me with my own existence.

I could’ve stopped her. Easily. But I didn’t.

Let her panic. Let her feel it. Let her understand.

Keeping her pinned unintentionally beneath my weight, I placed my hands firmly on her waist, leaning closer too close testing her limits, my patience, her courage. In my head, I dismissed her as harmless.

That arrogance cost me.

The second my hands touched her waist, her palm flew up and connected brutally with my face.

The sound echoed.

The second my hands touched her waist, her palm flew up and connected brutally with my face.

The sound echoed.

This wasn’t a weak slap born of fear it was sharp, solid, deliberate.

Pain exploded across my cheek, hot and humiliating. I sucked in a sharp breath, shock flaring brighter than anger.

“Rivanya stop!” I barked. “It’s me!”

The moment she heard my voice, everything froze.

Her hands stilled. Her body went rigid beneath mine. Silence swallowed the room whole.

Slowly, hesitantly, she spoke.

“R-Rudra? You…?”

There was disbelief. Confusion. Fear melting into shock.

“What are you doing like this?” she whispered.

My jaw clenched. Rage simmered beneath my skin, fueled by the burning sting on my cheek and the chaos she’d created.

“Meditating,” I snapped coldly. “Care to join?”

She flinched at my tone and immediately reached out, fumbling until the light switch clicked on.

The room flooded with light.

Her eyes went straight to my face and widened.

A red handprint bloomed clearly on my cheek.

“Hey, Gauri Maiya…” she breathed, horrified. “What have I done?”

Then, as if realization hit late, she frowned.

“And why did you enter like a thief? How did you even get inside? I locked the door.”

I didn’t answer her foolish questions.

I pushed myself off her and stood up, muscles tight, presence heavy. She scrambled up too, moving closer instinctively before stopping herself. Her gaze drifted to the open window, and understanding dawned.

“Oh…” she said softly. “You came through there?”

Then concern replaced everything else.

“But Rudra, that’s dangerous. What if you had fallen? You could’ve broken a bone.”

For a moment, I just stared at her.

Is she truly this innocent or does she hide behind it?

My anger was roaring, scraping against my control, but I forced it down and pointed to my cheek.

“And this?” I asked quietly, dangerously. “Was this safe?”
