Ch42 The Secret in the Soil #5

The sheer frustration, panic, and burning irritation in Naresh Bedi's tone were glaringly obvious.

Rivanya sat entirely still, her expression a mask of absolute, unbothered coldness, displaying zero emotional reaction to his sudden outburst.

But Sandeep completely lost his temper. He slammed his fist onto the table, his eyes turning a dangerous shade of red as he glared at the dead screen.

"How dare that pathetic scoundrel possess the absolute audacity to issue commands to my daughter like a master?! I swear to God, I will burn that monster alive with my own hands!"

Rivanya looked up, her calm, icy tone cutting through her uncle's explosive rage.

"No, Papa. If you burn him alive right now, his suffering will end in a mere fraction of a second. Death is far too easy a release for a creature like him. He has to settle a blood-soaked debt for every single tear that broke past my mother's eyes and mine.

I am going to back him into a corner so dark and absolute that he will grovel on his knees and beg for the sweet release of death, but he won't receive it."

The raw, unadulterated fire burning behind Rivanya's gaze struck every single person around that table with absolute awe.

For the first time, the elders didn't see a fragile, victimized girl they saw an unyielding force of vengeance, and a profound wave of grandfatherly and fatherly pride swept through Nanaji and Sandeep.

Sandeep leaned in, his expression turning serious as he analyzed the situation. "It seems he is facing his worst nightmare, and the cowardly animal is trying to use you as a human shield or a financial leverage once again, beta."

"Rivu, have you completely missed the business broadcasts today?"

Sandeep asked, his eyes widening slightly.

"Bedi Industries has been entirely wiped off the map overnight. They have declared absolute bankruptcy. The entire corporate sector is whispering that a terrifyingly powerful entity executed a clinical, calculated annihilation against him.

The news reports are explicitly stating that this has the fingerprints of a massive, untouchable power..."

The moment those words left her uncle's mouth, Rivanya unlocked her device and pulled up the active financial news streams.

The flashing crimson headlines confirmed the reality: Bedi Industries was entirely in ruins, its assets frozen and properties seized within a span of less than six hours.

The execution was so ruthless and mathematically perfect that it clearly pointed to someone with immense, dark authority someone whose influence blurred the lines between the legitimate corporate boardroom and the absolute peak of the dark underworld.

And the exact millisecond the word underworld crossed her mind, a singular, towering name locked into her thoughts: Rudraksh Vardhan.

Sandeep stood up, his protective instincts flaring as he looked at her suitcase. "Rivu, you are not stepping foot back into Mumbai alone. There is no telling what a desperate, bankrupt animal like Naresh Bedi might attempt to do to harm you. I am flying out with you right now."

Rivanya stood up gracefully, raising her hand to stop him with a gentle but immovable authority.

"No, Papa. It's alright. This is my war, and the destiny of the Bedi family belongs strictly to my hands. I will fight this battle alone. All I require is your continuous support and your unconditional blessings."

Nani maa walked over, her fragile hands wrapping around Rivanya's shoulders as she looked into her face with eyes full of fierce validation.

"We are all standing right behind you, Rivu. You are never alone in this fight, my child. Walk right into that storm and strip Naresh Bedi of whatever remaining pride he holds. Show him his absolute worth, and bring ultimate peace to my late Katha's soul."

Rivanya offered a decisive nod, her heart swelling with the weight of her family's faith.

Turning on her heel, she walked back up the stairs to her bedroom to change out of her casual attire and prepare for an urgent, high-velocity departure back to Mumbai.

She needed to face the rubble of the Bedi empire immediately.

She was fully prepared to see exactly what final, desperate game Naresh Bedi was plotting to play unaware that the trap around his neck had already been pulled tight by the silent king of the underground.
