Rivanya arrived at the mansion, hyperventilating with fear, terrified by the thought that Rudraksh might actually have been arrested.

Her heart was pounding violently against her ribs as she pushed through the grand entrance.

Running blindly into the main living hall, she found the entire family sitting together, their faces clouded with heavy, unspoken anxiety.

Even Pratap Vardhan had rushed back from Vardhanpur due to the emergency.

Sensing the gravity of the situation, Rivanya immediately walked over to him, touching his feet out of respect to seek his blessings.

Pratap gently placed a comforting hand on her head, but she couldn't contain her panic for another second.

Looking around at everyone, her voice shook as she asked:

"Is Rudra alright? I heard the news about his arrest on the radio, and I came running as fast as I could. Where is he?"

Pratap, who was sitting with an exceptionally serious expression, sighed softly.

He looked up at her and replied in a surprisingly calm, measured tone, "Rivanya, beta, your husband has never taken tension for anything in his entire life, so why would he start taking it today? Nothing has happened to him. Go look near the swimming pool;

our dear prince is peacefully swimming away even in this chaotic environment."

Rivanya stared at Pratap in utter bewilderment.

A jolt of pure disbelief hit her brain. On one hand, her entire soul was torn apart with anxiety, fearing that the police might have dragged Rudraksh away, and on the other hand, the man in question was casually enjoying a peaceful swim?

That too at a highly sensitive time when someone had tragically lost their life at his own construction site?

"This is the absolute limit!" she thought to herself. Stamping her feet in frustration, she marched out toward the swimming pool area to hunt him down.

When she reached the pool, she saw Rudraksh gliding through the water effortlessly, wearing nothing but a pair of black swim shorts.

He was diving and swimming back and forth, looking completely untouched by the storm brewing in the outside world.

Rivanya's anger hit its absolute boiling point.

She marched right to the edge of the pool and yelled at him, her voice filled with pure fury:

"Aapka dimag ghutno main hai kya Rudraksh? Ya phir Bachpan main sir ke bal gir gaye the aap esiliye esi harkatein karte ho aap?"("Is your brain in your knees, Rudraksh? Or did you fall on your head as a child? Is that why you keep doing such ridiculous things?")

Rudraksh didn't stop swimming. Without breaking his rhythm, he smoothly drifted closer to the edge and spoke with complete, infuriating nonchalance.

"What happened to you, Sugarplum? Why are you flaring up at me like this? And why is there so much tension written all over your face? You know very well that I am the only one who holds the right to give you tension, so who dared to give it to you today?"

Rivanya crossed her arms tightly, her glare piercing through him.

"With a great, legendary man like you around, who else would need to do this magnificent job? I am under tension because of you! What on earth am I hearing? Someone died at your Pune construction site, and the reason being stated is poor safety arrangements?

And why is the news continuously telecasting that you have been arrested? Do you have any idea how terrified I was? I came running back in pure panic!"

Rudraksh rested his forearms against the pool's edge and pulled his dripping wet, muscular body out of the water.

He stepped up, standing dangerously close to Rivanya, causing cool droplets of water to splash onto her skin.

He looked down at her with absolute authority and a cocky grin.

"Sugarplum, no handcuff has been forged in this world yet that can bind Rudraksh Vardhan. And do you honestly think the police have the guts or the status to even think about arresting me? Not a chance. As for the accident,

either Vyom or I personally conduct safety checks at every single one of my construction sites. We have never, ever compromised on safety protocols. So, since it isn't my fault, why should I waste my energy taking tension? Vyom will handle the rest anyway."

Rivanya looked up, locking her eyes onto his, her expression hardening. "Even if it isn't your fault, someone tragically lost their life at your site. Can't you be a little more sensitive about it?"

Rudraksh took another step forward, towering over her.

He leaned his face down, bringing it mere inches from hers as his deep, velvety voice turned intensely serious.

"Tum etne mahino se mujhe janti ho etna nhi pata chala tumhe ki Rudraksh Vardhan kisi baat pe react nhi karta aur sensitive hona meri dictionary main nhi hai."

("You've known me for months, and you still haven't figured out that Rudraksh Vardhan doesn't react to anything, and being sensitive isn't in my dictionary." )

Rivanya didn't back down. She immediately fired back a mocking retort, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Kaha se kharidi esi bakwas dictionary?"

("Where did you buy such a ridiculous dictionary?")

Rudraksh unexpectedly burst out laughing, highly amused by her sharp tongue and stubborn annoyance.

Fed up with his arrogant behavior, Rivanya turned on her heel and stormed back inside the mansion's main hall.

A few minutes later, Rudraksh changed out of his swimwear, put on his clothes, and followed her into the living room where the entire family was still gathered.

The moment he walked into the room, Dadi Maa looked up at him, her face lined with deep worry.

"Rudraksh, beta, what is all of this nonsense being broadcasted on the news?"

Rudraksh offered her an assuring smile, trying to ease the heavy atmosphere. "Dadi Maa, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Nothing has happened. Vyom will handle everything seamlessly."

The words had barely left Rudraksh's mouth when the heavy main doors of the mansion swung open with a loud thud.

Vyom walked in, looking completely disheveled, sweat breaking on his forehead, his face pale with severe anxiety.

Cutting right through Rudraksh's confident statement, he spoke in a heavy, trembling voice that sent chills through the room.

"Or perhaps, this time, things have gone way too far out of our hands, Rudraksh... so much so that even I am completely powerless to stop it."

The terrifying weight in Vyom's voice instantly gripped everyone with a fresh wave of panic, and Rivanya felt her heart stop completely.

The careless, relaxed look on Rudraksh's face vanished in a split second, replaced by a deadly, intense serious expression.

He stepped forward and demanded, "What happened, Vyom? What is the problem?"

Vyom stopped in the center of the hall, taking a sharp, ragged breath.

"Rudraksh, a massive storm has hit us this time. It's so huge that things are actively slipping right out of my fingers. I can guarantee with absolute certainty that there was no loophole in our safety management. But right after that worker's tragic death,

someone behind the scenes successfully manipulated and instigated all the other workers against you. They have all agreed to stand in court and give testimonies against you and every single one of those statements is a complete lie! If it were just one or two laborers,

we could have handled or settled it. But almost 70 workers (70 laborers) have officially signed up to give false testimonies against you..."

Hearing this, the veins on Rudraksh's forehead bulged with sheer, untamed fury. He slammed his fist against a nearby pillar, his jaw clenching tightly. "Fuck! This is definitely the handiwork of one of our old enemies..."

Vyom's words caused a tremor of fear to run through the entire family, and Rivanya felt a cold numbness settling deep inside her head.

But Vyom wasn't done yet. He dropped the ultimate bombshell, his voice dropping into a tense whisper.

"And if that wasn't enough to destroy us, Rudraksh... Advocate Adyant Malhotra has officially agreed to represent the deceased worker's family and fight this case against us in court."

The moment that name echoed in the hall, a visible shudder of tension finally crossed Rudraksh's features.

The name Adyant Malhotra was no ordinary name; he was widely recognized as one of the most brilliant, dangerous, and ruthless advocates in India.

His personal law firm, the Malhotra Law Firm, ranked comfortably among the top ten best law firms in the entire country.

Hearing this name, Rivanya felt her entire world tilt in terror.

In a country like India, there was hardly any educated person who wasn't familiar with the legendary reputation of Advocate Adyant Malhotra.

In his spectacular 20-year career, he had never lost a single case.

Rivanya vividly remembered hearing about him back when she was a college student; she had personally analyzed and studied several of his landmark, history-making corporate and criminal cases as part of her curriculum.

She knew better than anyone else that his pattern of fighting cases in a courtroom was completely unique, flawless, and deeply lethal.

This time, a legal web had been spun around the Vardhan empire, and breaking out of it seemed entirely impossible.

The heavy silence in the grand hall of the Vardhan mansion was broken when Pratap stood up, his face tightly lined with deep concern.

He turned his gaze toward Vyom and said, "Then, Vyom, beta, you should also look into hiring a prominent, high-profile lawyer who has what it takes to actually defeat Adyant Malhotra in court."
