Chapter 16
The hours crawled as she paced, curled up, and paced again.
Finally, the door opened. Mig looked her over and set a bag inside the door before closing it again.
Sailor quickly changed into the skimpy dress, not caring that she was freezing. At least she wouldn’t be alone and trapped and going out of her mind with fear and anxiety and sadness. She would know what was happening.
The room out front was full, men and women. The women were all the kinds of girls who wore skimpy clothes without being forced, skirts that showed too much, shorts that showed half an ass cheek, tops that covered little.
Mig led her to where Geo was leaning on the arm of a chair, laughing with someone, a beer in his hand.
Geo looked her over, his eyes shining with a buzz as he smirked.
She stayed where she was a dozen feet back, feeling a bit sick as the other women were kissing on the men there, grinding on them, and dancing with them to the club-sounding music that wasn’t overwhelmingly loud.
A girl approached Geo and threw her arms around him. Laughing, he pulled her close and leaned in, whispering in her ear. She giggled and kissed along the edges of the tattoo on his neck. After a moment, he pulled back, then motioned her to go, still looking amused. She turned and looked around the room, then went to the back wall to Davon, who Sailor only noticed when the girl put her hands on his chest. Her eyes locked with his for a moment, then he looked down at the girl rubbing on him and gave her a fake smile before lifting her and turning her to plant against the wall to make out with.
Sailor looked back to Geo, and he was watching her with a calculating expression.
Sliding down to sit in the chair, he patted his lap.
Sailor went still, feeling sick. What was about to happen?
He canted his head like he was re-evaluating her, then patted his lap once.
A final warning.
Sailor went to him slowly, looking around the room.
Her nerve left her three steps in, and she pivoted, heading to the front door while everyone was preoccupied.
A hand closed around her throat several feet from the door, stopping her, and she whimpered, grabbing hold of the wrist. Turning enough, she looked up at Davon as he sneered down at her, and then she was moving. He was driving her back to where Geo was sitting, his chin on his fist, watching in a psychotic sort of amusement.
“Takin’ a walk, Rue?” Geo asked as soon as Davon stopped her less than a foot from him. “Nah. Sit down,” he teased, then yanked her down to sit in his lap. His fingers dug into her hip as he turned her to face the room, putting an arm around her and pulling her head back to his shoulder. “Relax.”
Sailor was shaking, her eyes tracking Davon as he returned to the wall. The girl was there waiting for him, smiling up at him. He leaned against the wall and pushed her to her knees in front of him, pushing his shorts low for her. The girl started sucking his cock right there in front of everyone.
Sailor noticed then that they weren’t the only ones. There were four others on that wall doing the same thing. Two seats over, a girl was riding Mig out in the open, his head back and eyes closed.
Sailor turned away, and her eyes locked onto Davon’s again. He was staring at her angrily as the girl sucked him off.
Sailor turned, twisting on Geo to hide her face in his neck.
He only chuckled as he downed the rest of his beer and lifted his hand for a new one.
Music, shouting, talking, and laughing all seemed to press in on Sailor as she curled up there, trying to hide from it. Geo spoke to dozens of people, but she never looked at who. He laughed and joked and listened to boastful stories. He even did some business.
Sailor never looked out once.
Not until well after midnight. Geo had gone from resting a hand on her hip to stroking her back as he talked and joked.
Finally, someone mentioned her and asked who she was, and Geo jostled her. “Rue, turn ‘round here. Rue, this is my boy Trey. Trey, this is Rue.”
“She cute,” the man noted as Rue peeked at him. “Them titties is nice. She looks tiny as fuck?”
“She is,” Geo agreed.
“Tiny ones is always mouthy bitches.”
“She is,” Geo laughed again, putting a finger under her chin to look up at him as he looked down at her. “But maybe she’ll learn ‘fore I kill ‘r, yeah, Rue?”
“How old is she?”
“18.”
“Shit, she jumped on that shit quick!” Trey laughed.
Geo snorted. “Yeah… she ain’t like that. Not this one. Sit up, Rue,” Geo demanded, moving her and turning her, posing her so Trey could see her tummy.
“Shit, that yours?”
“Yeah.”
“Fuck, man, she trap you? I got a…”
“Nah, it ain’t like that,” Geo chuckled, letting Sailor curl back up .
“He raped me,” she told Trey angrily, hating that Geo was acting like she was his little toy. “Now I have to stay here till I have his child.”
“Shit!” Trey chuckled. “She got some fuckin’ venom and shit, don't she?”
“She does,” Geo laughed. “It’s fuckin’ cute. Sometimes. That little mouth needed a lesson on what was what. I had ‘r back las’ year. Saw her again las’ week ‘n she was all full up with my baby.”
“You know it’s yours?”
“Ain’t doubtin’ it, but still gon’ make sure. She was new when I had ‘r. I popped that shit.”
“Fuck… she was 18 when you had ‘r?”
“She’s almost 19. I don't fuck with lil kids.”
“I mean, shit, Geo! She’s a pretty fuckin’ little kid!” Trey laughed. “Tiny ‘n shit.”
“Watch what words touch that mouth, boy,” Geo warned, going still.
“No disrespect,” Trey snorted. “Just sayin’ she’s a tiny lil’ bitch is all. So she your new lady?”
“Just a baby mama.”
“Seems like you fuckin’ with her.”
“Just passin’ time. Anyway… she got some brains, too. Apparently, she’s like a hacker ‘n shit.”
“Ain’t all them kids her age hackers?” Trey laughed. “Always online on computers ‘n shit.”
“Naw, she like the real deal. Knows how to, like, grift from banks ‘n shit.”
“She makin’ you some money?”
“Nah. Not yet, I need shit first.”
“That’s why you asked me to come tonight,” Trey laughed. “What you need?”
“Mig has a list. I’m’a have her look it over ‘n see if she needs anything else, but I need the whole setup.”
“Yeah, aight, man. Lemme know. We’ll work out a trade… you know the shit you need ain’t cheap? ”
“Yeah, Mig looked it all up. We can cover it.”
“No doubt, no doubt… but we talkin’ like some serious firepower here, you know that?”
“Yeah, man, I told you. He looked it up. I’ll have her check off the list, too.”
Sailor turned and glared up at Geo, and he looked down at her with a smirk.
“You got somin’ ta say, Rue?”
She said nothing, turning her face back to his neck, staring at the three numbers covering the front of his neck.
He kept talking to Trey, and Sailor finally turned and looked over the crowded room. It was darker now, but she still saw Davon across the room, leaning on the wall. A new girl was in front of him on her knees now, and he was still staring daggers at Sailor as he held the girl's hair. As she watched, he caught another girl as she passed by and pushed the blonde off his dick, pulling the brunette down to her knees to take her place. The girl didn’t hesitate to take over, though the blonde seemed lost as she hovered close momentarily as if waiting for her turn again.
Sailor looked away, her heart aching.
“That fool is pissed,” Geo chuckled. “He got it bad for you, huh?”
Sailor didn’t answer, rolling her face into his shoulder to stifle the tears.
“Aight, I’m ’a take this girl to bed, then,” Geo told Trey, standing, lifting her to hold her in his arms as he did. “Mig! Keep this shit low-key, yeah? Turn down the AC, put it down to 58. Don't let no one bother us.”
“Yeah,” Mig answered, pushing up off the chair nearby.
“Don't forget tomorrow either!” Geo called over his shoulder as he took her back to her room.
